Noirin followed the others even though she did not trust them. But she did need allies if she was to escape this mad house of insanity. But if magic is truely real then that explains what sometimes happen to her! She must keep her eyes and ears wide open to learn more about what this 'Academy' is all about and what to do about being here. She sat in a chair in the front row with the satchel placed between her feet.

Thomas walked into the Lecture Hall in his usual garb- denim jeans, cowboy style dress shirt and his hat. he simply nodded at Lady Violetta then walked over to the wall where he leaned against to watch the students reactions before he gave his speech.

“Again, welcome to Caldwell’s Academy of Magical Talents, I am Lady Violetta and am the Headmistress of this Academy. I will be doing the Basic Magic Classes.
This is Thomas Skywalker who will be the teacher for the Draconic Classes.
You are few students who are strong enough to make it through the Picture. You have a magic core that can make you great Wizards and even Mages in the future. Your Magic Core will be your main tool in this Academy. There are other tools that you will learn to use as well.
You will become interesting people who will travel this new world and explore the other land masses. A few will stay home and be part of The Academy Island. I will need a Governor and an Archives Specialist to help me with my job. There will be more jobs as more students graduate.” Lady Violetta asked.

Any questions before we go to lunch? I know this is a lot to take in but it is also in your PLTs for you to review.” Lady Violetta looked around the class.

"I'm Ayaka, and its fine, I understand." Ayaka said just before Lady Violetta started speaking. It's a lot of information to take in all at once though. she thought as she was handed a box. And just how did a picture take her to a completely different solar system? Is magic really able to do things like that? After listening to the explanation about the PLTs, Ayaka let the computer register her aura before filling out the little questionnaire. She clicked on the folder labeled Mythical Creatures and began looking at the choices she had for a pet. Of course the felines caught her attention first, only these were obviously different than what she's used to. Each of the pets had some form of magical ability by the looks of it. Not sure what to choose. Maybe I'll just wait until I can actually go look at them in person? In an attempt to think about something else, Ayaka decided to open the box with her new phone in it.

Elliot accepted his equiptment and let his PLT register him. He then filled out the questionnaire and opened the mythical creatures file. He really liked the firebird and the hellhound. It was just a question of seeing them in person.

Melody accepted her equiptment and let her PLT register her, although she had slight trouble, worrying it might prick her or worse. She filled out the questionnaire (maybe not being 100% honest) and opened the mythical creatures file. She thought it would be cool if any of it was real, although she probably would just end up choosing a little bird. She didn't deserve anything more grand than that.

Alethea merely ran her hand across the material of the robe, questioning what the fabric was made out of. The new equipment was foriegn, nothing like what'd she seen on earth, despite being the same style. She had input the information on the questionnaire, being as vague as she could with her responses. It wasn't long before she submitted it, and navigated to the mythical creatures file. Her attention was almost immediately caught by the Frost wolf, the only worry was the pack function. Nobody else would have one, so her pet could go into depression, Alethea shrugged it off, telling herself it wasn't her problem.

Noirin was totally surprised to get free things for in her short life she had to work for what she wanted. An orphanage is a hard place to grow up in after all. Noirin listen carefully and was able to Imprint as she was told to do. Now she was very interested in what kind of pets she could get. She was absorbed in the PLTs and answering the questions at this time.

Dante grabbed the new equipment and registered his aura. As Dante was going through the creature catalog he found something called a frost wolf he would most defiantly be getting one of those if he got a pet.

Noirin heard something about questions and she looked at the lady in front of her.

"I am from an orphanage so how am I to pay for all of this? Do I have to go back to that awful place? " she asked rather quickly.

"No one ever pays for their education here and you will have a chance to earn money for extra things that you want by getting good grades and other ways. If you do not want to go back to the Orphanage during the breaks, then you may stay here and earn extra credit or extra money. Any other questions before lunch?" Lady Violetta answered then looked at the other students.

Both Elliot and melody stayed silent. Melody believed she had been kidnapped, and therefore was not saying anything to anyone. Elliot on the other hand simply had no questions.

After Lady Violetta was done I grab my new Personal Laptop System aka the PLT, my new cell phone. Most of all my new equipment belt which holds snacks for me & my pet well when I chose one so we can eat in class which I'm never been allowed to do.
I headed back to the seat besides Ayaka and ask "Can I have you number please so if one of us gets lost in the village we can call each other for help?"

Lady Violetta clapped her hands to get the students attention.
"I think we will break for a pizza party. There are a wide variety of toppings to put on your own personal pizza. The chef will place it in the oven and you will be served your pizza by the wait staff. Also many varieties of soda and I am sure that you will find one that you like.
Ice cream and various cookies for dessert. Dismissed!"

"Sure" Ayaka said to Eliza as she held up her own phone to exchange numbers. After their numbers were exchanged Lady Violetta said something about a pizza party which got her excited. She liked pizza and its been awhile since she had it too.

Alethea wasn't hungry, she couldn't eat even if she wanted to. A strange feeling, instead filled her stomach, doubt possibly. She looked around, at the new people that she would be spending alot of time with. She walked over to Ayaka & Eliza, a smile coming upon her face. " Would you guys like my number too? " she said with a hint of contentment in her voice.

As soon as I was done swapping numbers with Ayaka, Alethea came up to us & ask if we would like to have her number.
Well I wasn't sure about Ayaka wanting Alethea number but I sure did so I turned around to face Alethea handing out my phone "Sure Alethea the more the better right?"

Noirin walked into the dining room hesitantly. She loved pizza but it was only on certain days that the orphanage had pizza and usually was a gift from a pizza place down the road. She saw other students exchanging numbers so she went to the first person she saw ask her.

"Eliza, would you trade numbers with me please? Then perhaps Ayaka and Althea would want to trade numbers. In fact we all should trade numbers just in case someone needs something.......' she spoke softly as she held out her new cell phone.

Melody was slowly easing into believing in the academy, and she only had a normal chese pizza. She sat in the corner by herself and ate quietly. A boy walked up and asked for her new cell number, and she just stared at him until he went away confused.

Elliot went around to everyone and asked for all of their numbers, incase of an emergency, plus he wanted to keep a good relationship with everyone. After that he ate a normal chese pizza, and sat down with his PLT, exploring it and customizing it.

As soon as I swaped numbers with Alethea, Noirin popped up next to me wanting my number so we swapped numbers than Noirin ask Ayaka & Alethea for there numbers.
Than I saw Elliot going around and swapping numbers with everyone so I walked up to him to give him my number and said "Looks like we both had the same idea than".

Amelia Arrives a Caldwell

Amelia was out looking for work in the town of Cowes where she'd been handed over to a girl's warder. She had to talk to the matron for two weeks to be allowed to seek after school employ.
She was seeking employment as a shop girl believing that it would be her best bet. She was always energetic and intelligent and cheerful as well so she thought she'd be able to touch the customers and get them to spend their money. She also had the added bonus of being able to speak passable French and Spanish who came to Cowes during the Yachting season.
Her luck had been miserable and she was about to give up when she saw a sign in the window of an antique shop that said "Wanted girl for light cleaning and counter service"
Amelia straightened her clothes and entered the store ready to chat the owner up and sell her services.

The Shopkeeper took one look at her no sooner than she'd entered and said "You certainly fill out that blouse lass"

Amelia stopped shocked that the old woman behind the counter had already focused on her asset which she'd actually come to curse. "I know, the matron's always complaining that should I grow much more then I'll need more clothing" says Amelia making a small joke

"Matron Err? I suppose then you're a ward of Brittle's Home?" says the lady stepping from behind the counter.

"Yes I'm a Brittle Girl" says Amelia

"You're hired" says the Old woman

Amelia was surprised at first but happy that it seemed she had a job.
"Thank you for considering me but I haven't even introduced myself. I'm Amelia Vincent Wright


The old woman hired her and showed her what she wanted to be done and set her immediately to cleaning dust off everything..
For several days Amelia worked constantly cleaning all types of antiques in the front of the store as well as helping at the counter.
Then she went to work cleaning the things in the storage room.

It was one day while cleaning that Amelia found a stack of old paintings which she used a makeup brush to clean the faces of dust. She was making quick work of the paintings when she came across a beautiful picture of a fantasy castle. She picked it up an set it on the easel she used to hold the paintings up and went to work. It was so lovely a painting that she stopped several times to admire it. When she'd finished the painting she was looking it over an noticed an couple of hairs from the brush on it's surface.

She reached out carefully using her fingernails to grasp the fibers as she had others when she suddenly felt a strange sensation. The world around her seemed suddenly dark then filled with spinning light as she fell for what seemed forever.
How long she fell she could even guess but eventually she was aware that she'd exited the tunnel of light an she landed abruptly in soft grass.

Blinking momentarily in the bright sunlight Amelia then looked around herself trying to get her bearings.

"Wow! It's the Fairy Castle. she says as she quickly stands giggling. She knew she should be concerned an possibly even think that she'd passed out for unknown reasons in the shop storeroom but she couldn't as the sight was too beautiful

Lady Violetta watched the students fix their pizza and was glad that all of them seem to be getting over heir shock of being in a magic school except perhaps Melody. She was about to go up to her when felt the sensation of another student landing on the Fall. Quietly she went out and saw the girl. She spoke while she walked to the girl

"Hello there, I am Miss Violetta and I am the head mistress here at Caldwell's Academy of Magical Talents and Draconic Arts Academy. Please do come in and I'll help you get caught up with the rest of the class. We are having fix your own pizza party."

Noirin walked about and made her pizza then sat down next to the last person she did not have the phone number for. A girl who was sitting in a corner by herself.
"Hi. I'm Noirin and perhaps we can be friends?"

Amelia meets the Headmistress Violetta

Amelia stood an dusted off her jumper an was still looking around when a very pretty but oddly dressed young woman came out of the castle.

The woman wore a wide and welcoming smile as she said "Hello there, I am Miss Violetta and I am the head mistress here at Caldwell's Academy of Magical Talents and Draconic Arts Academy. Please do come in and I'll help you get caught up with the rest of the class. We are having fix your own pizza party."

Amelia smiles and says "Hello I'm Amelia Vincent Wright, it's a pleasure to meet you

I kept going around the room saying hello & swapping numbers to everyone well mostly everyone expect a very shy girl sitting next to Noirin in the corner.
As I walked up I had the best smile I could have on my face.
I put my hand out to her and said "Hello there what is your name? My name is Elizabeth but you can call me Eliza both is fine".
