Bio: Arlia was taken advantage of by is now pregnant. She has to switch places with her twin sister so that she can escape the castle walls and avoid punishment for the taboo of being pregnant before being married. The only reason she has a twin to switch with is because of the Breeding Laws in the kingdom. Each family are allowed only one male child and one female child. The king and queen are very strict with upholding laws, or at least pretending to, so when they had twin daughters, one of them was hidden away and given to the kitchen staff to raise. Arlia found out about her sister through the words of her favorite maid when she was on her death bed. The twins quickly became close and each were willing to switch so that Arlia would not be pushed, because even as princess, she could still be punished. [Just to add because someone mentioned this. They said they felt it was unrealistic for her to be taken advantage of because of the guards she'd have. Usually that would be true, but even guards can be negligent.]

Age: 49 troll years (which is almost trollhood)



He looks like this, except his nose is not as long, nor his ears. His skin is a lighter purple and he doesn't have the purple markings.

Age: ?
Appearance: A bipedal cat wearing hooded brown, tattered robe.


Short Bio:
A wanderer of southern origin. Nekoboro had traveled across many lands in search for the tastiest tuna in the world. On his travel, he met with a certain girl, which he christened with the name Kyouka. Currently he is traveling alongside the girl on a quest to find someone or something which could break magical bindings.
Nekoboro is a practitioner of Cat Magic, which is a strange form of magic utilizing cats. For example, making cats rained down from the sky. He had passed some of the power to Kyouka.
In battle, he uses a large tuna fish to slap his opponent. The effectiveness is left to imagination.

Name: Kyouka
Age: 19
Appearance: human girl with cat ears, a tail, and slitted eyes, wearing japanese-style clothing (kimono).


Short Bio:
A human girl who was taken in by Nekoboro in his travel. Her current form is made by the influence of Nekoboro's Cat Magic, giving her a human body with cat traits like ears and tail. Her clothes also changed into a kimono due to the transformation. She is considered by the cat as his apprentice, although it's more likely that she was just being dragged along by his antics.
Kyouka has strong affinity for Magic, but in her form she could only use Cat Magic. Staying within that form would tire her eventually, in which she would revert back to her human form until her magic power is replenished.

How prevalent should Magic be in this world? Super rare, like Gandalf? Rare, as in there should be training and learning before able to use Magic? Or casual as in everyone can use Magic somehow?

Magic should probably be only learned by people born with the abilities to become a mage, and the typical races who would have magic, like dragons.

I think it can be learned, but if you did not already have the power within you, than no go.

So it should be like Gandalf, but not as limited. You could say 1 in 100 or so people might be born a mage (for all races) Races like elves might have a higher rate of their kind being born with the ability.

Fairies and the like would have their types of magic, of course.'

But it wouldn't be like Harry Potter where the mage can practically do any type of magic. Each mage would probably have one or two things they can do really well? And there might be a few every however many years who are born being a little more powerful?

They are neutral. They are old and wise and just mostly keep to themselves. Like they won't kill someone on sight, probably would ignore them, unless they were in their territory, then they'd give a warning.

Would kills someone if that someone was intent on killing them.

That sort of thing. Think of them like cats XD

Hehe in spirit most likely. I always imagined dragons and cats being similar for some reason.

I think I can pronounce it. "Neko" like the Japanese word for cat, and "boro" "Bor-oh"

Sorry to do this to you, I need to take a few days off (I just came on to update my group rp, with the most sucky post) because I'm suffering this massive earache that is just horrible. In both ears. On top of that, I have got the flu or something (May be the cause of earaches? Don't know!)
