So will there be a map of the world perhaps? Just to help give an idea of how big it is and what's going on where?

It would be rather difficult to include the type of law code in question in the sheet. His law code is vast with thousands of rules and regulations dictating exactly what is to be done and what is not in situations and such. You know the expression byzantine law? His code is a very good example of that. And on that note he is a being that certainly considers himself to be righteous. If you asked him he would certainly not describe himself as evil.

Who ever describes themselves as evil? :P

Hmmm.. Again, I love the idea of the God, but if he considers himself to be righteous, and he thinks he is spreading goodness, and he is not aware of any unfortunate consequences for the non-believers, he seems a lot like many of the deities that different religious groups worship today. It doesn't need to be said, but such deities are still considered benevolent by most standards. Now while i'm all for the Mortals of the world seeing him as benevolent, I think there should probably be some unknown aspect of him that is a little more obviously evil, if you get my meaning, just so it's obvious that he is actually a part of the group of Princes of Ruin. I feel like he should knowingly use those who don't follow his law for some purpose that he knows is selfish. Though what that could be, I don't know.

He believe that he knows best. One of his elements is also dominion. And the fact that he builds his realm with the souls of those who have not upheld his laws is an example that I believe would work. He doesn't have to do that, he chose to do so.

Think of him as Lawful evil instead of Chaotic evil.

I personally think that if there's no issue with one of Csonugdytuft's domains being 'Charity' then there's no issue with one of Evarast's domains being Justice, since it's his kind of justice. Granted it's a twisted and warped version of justice, but Csonugdytuft's charity is likewise twisted and warped.

Okay, so here's what we'll do. We'll have a thread for the God sheets so we can find them easily, and we'll have another for any aspects of the work building that people want to jot down so that others can tap into it. It'll include things like Mortal orders, cities, people and things of the sort.

Sounds good to me. But can you not make images a link? Because if so you can just make it so that when someone clicks on the little name-picture in the first post it takes them to the post with the sheet.

Okay, compendium threads are up. Might be worth subscribing to them so we can get to them easily.

Thread for the Princes

Thread for Worldbuilding

These will be added to the OP. Please put all your CS/NS' up :)

And I have no idea. It was possible in the Old Guild, but can that be done currently?

No idea, that's why I was asking. In any case you already made the Prince thread so I'll go put my sheet there.

For the record, Ielitha Dema only narrowly beat out Irilith (which was a dreaming goddess that was very 40k Chaos-y and turned people into insane "Dreamers") and a sort of dark world where the only light came from "windows" which were effectively the other side of reflections in the real world.

Quick question, so should I put my Goddesses order on the world builder thread or in the Prince thread?

Huh, just curious, have you played Morrowind? because I've been playing a lot of it lately and the main villain makes people insane and part of his cult via sending them dreams. I was going to make a Prince like that before deciding on my current one.

I imagine Valindra and Cryric are rivals of sorts. Cyric more interested in keeping the dead in the ground or his domain, whereas Valindra trying to raise them from the dead and/or in her domain. Gonna be interesting for sure.

May as well, at least that way I won't look like a dick who makes random threads without thinking ;)

Never played Morrowind, no.

The idea with Irilith (which obviously would have needed adjusted for this) was basically she was queen of her people and figured out a way to empower herself by channelling emotional energy through rituals. So she formed a state religion that encouraged more and more excessive and hedonistic displays, opulent rituals, and blood rites. Eventually the power she accumulated reached critical mass and she broke reality around herself, transforming into a blinding serpentine god-queen that psychically mind-raped all of her followers within lightyears.

Her bubble of control gradually expanded, and within it reality was shifting and fluid and her whispers kept all the survivors adhering to her will and the will of her Dream.

It was all rather Slaaneshi (at least as far as her birth went), with a lot of inspiration from Chaos.

Slaanesh is the only God-Archetype we're now missing.
