Smoke rose from the small smoke stack protruding from Adrastos's house/smith. Inside the sounds of hammer on steel could be heard, as Adrastos worked diligently on what would eventually be a uniquely forged hunting knife. He took a few moments to quench the heated steel in oils to temper the blade , as he held it under with one hand the other wiped the sweat from his brow. with just a little more shaping it would look fantastic. Once this project was completed, a long dip in the lake was called for.

Chantelle strolled through the village, sipping blood from a plastic bottle as she smiled darkly. The ring on her finger glistening in the sunlight, protecting her from the deadly rays. It was a beautiful day, people just peered at her as she sat down on a nearby bench. The serenity of the area made her smile even more, and she closed her eyes and took in a big whiff of the pure air. The smell's fascinated her, made her feel warm and fuzzy.

A stone dribbled over the water, hopping once, twice, thrice, before descending into the lakebed. The orange-haired boy swiped another stone off the ground and chucked it at the lake, again causing little circular disruptions three times and falling in. Alev sighed, watching the waves travel across the surface of the water. "Nothing to do.. again." he muttered to himself. He picked up a small twig and flicked the tip halfheartedly, causing it to go up in flames. He watched as the rest of the twig was engulfed with brilliant golden light, then threw it spiraling into the water.

The sweat dripped of Adrastos as he slammed the hammer down for the last time, and quenched the blade. Once it was cooled he attached the custom grip he had carved, Used the stone grinder to sharpen the edges to razor points and slid it into a fitted sheath. He exited the house into the morning breeze, the day was beautiful as he made his way through town heading for the lake just outside, he carried the new blade just in case its owner should see him before he saw them.

Chantelle headed towards the lake,and as she got there, stripped naked and strolled into the warm, refreshing water.With a sigh of happiness, she lay in the water, floating and staring into the perfect sky. Life was generally good, lonely but good. The air made a breeze tickle her chest and stomach and she giggled, closing her eyes and sighing once more.

Adrastos arrived at the edge of the lake where he first noticed someones clothes laying on the ground. This made him cautiously sweep the water for the clothes owner, until he spotted her floating there and he turned away quickly slightly embarrassed. "I'm sorry miss, I will come back later"

Alev watched as two people arrive on the farther side of the lake, one rather well-built on the edge and a younger, paler figure in the water. Realizing the couple hadn't noticed him yet, he whispered, "Some people really know how to ruin the mood", before getting up and leaving the two to their own private matters. As he headed back towards the village, he saw one of the hunters carrying around some dead animal on her shoulder. Alev approached, realizing it was Pirra after a hunt. "Care to teach me a thing or two about using a bow next time?" he said nonchalantly, half expecting a no for an answer considering he only knew her name from eavesdropping and had just met her.

Chantelle heard the male voice and came off her back to face him. WIth a small smirk and a giggle, she peered around and nodded.
"You can come in too. Its everyones lake sir. Anyway, the water is lovely and warm."
Noticing the red in his cheeks and the embarrassment in his eyes, she giggled once more before sighing.
"Don't feel embarrassed."

"As you wish mam", Adrastos started to take of his shirt "I just didn't wan't you to think I was a peeping tom or anything." His tone a little more relaxed, as his shirt came off you could tell he had lived a difficult life before his time in the village there where many whip scars across his back. Adrastos kicked off his big boots and undid his pants, but kept his boxers on as he slowly waded his way into the lake. The water was amazing, it did wonders on his aching muscles, as he floated it finally dawned on him that he didn't recognize the girl "Are you new to the village, or have I just been to caught up in my work lately to have seen you move in? "

Chantelle smiled at him, swimming over and touching the scars and wounds on his body. The warmth of his skin made her shudder, her touch was always quite cold and unpleasant. Vampire traits. With a giggle, she spoke softly.
"I never get seen, I'm well hidden which is lucky really. Been here for years."
Moving away, she lay on her back and sighed.

Adrastos wasnt used to being touched in a non violent manner so he flinched a little initially as she ran her fingers over his scars. "Im sorry I havent seen you till know, I myself only arrived here less than a year ago after escaping the city of my birth. Since finding this place most of my days are spent working the forge, Im starting to think the locals may think im not very personable since the only visits I get are work related". He was treading water but coudlt help but watch her move in the water. Like a pale angel or mermaid from the stories

"People round here seem very reclused. I sometimes think they are scared. Maybe of friendship, lust, desire or are just very boring. I usually walk about, not worried about who or what I may see. Its how you make life more worthwhile."
Chantelle spoke with a soft yet dark voice, before going upright and treading water, running her fingers through her hair. He looked worked, a guy who wasn't frightened of much but she could sense the delicate part of him in his voice and eyes. He seemed fairly mysterious himself, a bit like her.

"Well when you come to a villiage like this, you are used to either having to hide or restrict your actions. Its a hard thing to overcome, some days it feels like I cast off my old chains for the self made ones of my work. Keeping busy, not giving myself the freedom I should be enjoying. Maybe I should take lessons from you haha" his laugh was hardy and joyful a slight touch of pain but he prefered to laugh problems like that away

Chantelle smiled and swan around him before giggling to herself, taking in the serenity before diving under the water and appearing behind him. Suddenly she appeared in front of him.

It had taken Adrastos awhile to notice but the speed was a givaway "wise beyond your appearance, very fast, pale skin and low body temperature. Are you a Vampire? I know its a little foreward of me to ask, but im a straighforward guy" his smile was wide. Despite the rough exterior his charm was begining to shine through

Adrastos let himself sink below the water before changing, gaining an extea foot in height and a lot more muscle mass. The wolfs head emerged from the water abd in a half playful half growl "I like to think Im very clever indeed, but dont vampires burn up in the sunlight? I know your hot and all, but your far from in fire" he let his body shift back as he kept up treading water.

Chantelle swam around him, admiring the beast form before he turned back. With a. Playful, vheeeky smile, she stopped dead on infront of him.
"well I have a ring that protects me. Its handy really. Werewolves and Vampires are worst enemies, we must but quite lonrly"
