The castle of Akinner, in the nation of Abrigandia
A man walked up and down in a hall that was filled with multiple people all dressed intensely different. The man had horns on his head that curled and a cape as he wore almost pure black. He was known as Loki in his world. "How could you let this happen?! You realize with the early activation of the spell it didn't just grab the troops and soldiers and people we wanted but it also grabbed multiple others. Not to mention the portal is not a two way portal! It's still active for goodness sake!" he yelled at the man on the throne who had his hood over his head.

"Calm down Loki." said a woman who was dressed in almost all black as well with a black cape, but she had a staff. Her voice was cold and callous. "It is not his fault, these things happen." she said. Loki glared at her intensely.
"Maleficent is right you know." Said another man's voice. It was deep and dark. This man was bald with multiple tattoos and signs all over his face and his bare chest. Thankfully though he was wearing pants. He was known as Cardalo in his realm, he was a master of silence and dark magic as well as hand to hand combat. "Our armies still got through, most of them at least, and they got through without many of them dying. The only ones who died were the idiots who didn't follow directions." he said.
"Indeed" said a deep voice as another man spoke up. He was wearing purple and had a purple helmet on. "My soldiers are all here though." he said.
"You merely brought but a few men Magneto!" Loki Exclaimed.
"Now, now, no need to be harsh and aggressive towards others Loki." another voice said.
The voice was very authoritative and deep, this person was large, and had cracks all over what looked like a stone body, heat rose from him at all times. He was known in his realm as Perses. Next to him sat a woman in white who rolled her eyes at the whole situation.
Next to her was a man in a hood where no one could see his face. but he held a scythe, and was known as Thanatos. He nodded, "After all Loki, you brought your own daughter to fight." he said with a chuckle. Loki growled at him, "Hel will be just fine and a great asset!" he said.
"Why yes Loki. she will be a great... asset." Said a voice near the throne Loki swirled to look at a man who sat there, the man was small and looked childish. He was known as, King Joffrey in his realm.
"Enough of this nonsense of talk. We have a problem with other people coming in to most likely help out the people of Exterra. So let us fix it." Said a cold voice who sat on the other side of the throne. The voice belonged to a person with blue full body armor and blue eyes that you could see from his helmet. The Lich King, as he was known in his realm. "Not just people!" Loki said walking closer to the Lich King, he flicked his wrist as a picture of a large man (Garth) appeared as he landed." Old Enemies, people who I thought would be long gone and not have to deal with!" Loki exclaimed.
The entire hall burst into argument after that, there was a large amount of people there, and the noise was overwhelming to the dark sorcerer. Who stood up, "SILENCE!" he yelled as the entire castle shook at his voice. "Now you all need me here, for without me your share in the precious people and minerals here will be cut! Not to mention that if I die, who then will be able to figure out a way to re-open the portal? Things happen, I had no choice. The portals went crazy because of how soon the spell was used." The sorcerer said to everyone as they glared at him.
Thanatos suddenly appeared in front of him, and who's to say that we can't find a way back? Or that killing you won't just reverse it?" he said as he put his scythe in front of the Sorcerer's face. The rest of the hall mumbled in agreement.

The sorcerer removed his hood revealing a middle aged face with a scar down his right eye. His eyes were blue, as he looked at Thanatos as his eyes turned red. "FOOLS!" He yelled as Thanatos was sent flying backwards into a pillar. All of the people found it was suddenly hard to move. "I am the master of this universe, I know how to bend it to my will, do you not think that if I wanted to I could just as easily kill you? You are not gods here!" he said as he looked at Thanatos.
"This universe will not treat you like a god. You will die like a mortal here!" he said, "A cross realm rule is what we all hope for and it is what we shall do once this universe is conquered." he said as they all settled down. He sat down and everyone seemed to be able to move again. "For those of you who do not know me, I am Gelhart Tyre master sorcerer, we should not worry about heroes or others coming to assist Exterra. As for your hero Loki I have a plundering army of orcs and men heading his way already to weaken the defenses of the castle ahead of him. They will wipe him out on their way to the castle." Tyre continued to speak as they listened to the plan.
Amaron was looking over a map of the region as he was marking what had been lost and not lost, Abrigandia was completely seized by now. As well as about 13 of the multiple nations in their world. He still could hardly believe what happened, he had just barely gotten his men out of there on time. The chaos, he could still hear some men screaming as they fell all around him. There were reports of these same portals showing up all over Exterra, some with animals, and some with actual intellectual beings in them. He had no idea how it had happened or what Tyre had done. But it sent all of Exterra into chaos. He looked up at the map again, he knew they would soon be coming for his own king's castle, the Castle of Versella. It was the capital of all things in Exterra. Named after the women who founded it and united the nations together to fight off an evil once before.

When Tyre rose in power he had caused this to happen again. They had almost won, they were so close too. Amaron thought. But now broken all the forces in Exterra ran back to their respective keeps to defend it. "United my ass." he said as he threw a cutting knife at the wall. It went deep into the wall as Amaron continued to look over the large map. That's when he heard the sound that he had heard at the castle right before the cyclones appeared. He ran outside his bow ready as he looked up into the sky. He saw the cyclone appear an a large man falling from it.
Garth spun in circles in the cyclone as he saw a light in the middle he tried to stay in the middle of it. His water skin flew off of his shoulders and went towards the corner of the cyclone. It instantly burned up. "Okay then! stay in the middle then!" he said. Just as he said that he felt himself falling fast towards the ground. He had no idea where this place was it definitely wasn't the snowy mountain area he was accustomed too it was too green. But that didn't matter as it appeared he might become flat as a pancake in just a couple seconds. He slammed into the ground.

Opening his eyes he saw he wasn't dead, or hurt. "Whatever the hell that was it must have come with a fail safe for when we land." he said as he stood up. That's when he heard a voice behind him. "HALT!" "WHO ARE YOU!?" he looked and saw an elf aiming a bow at him. "I Am Garth, former co-captain of my former King's Elite Guard. And who are you?" he said calmly as he got ready for a fight.

"I am Amaron, where do you come from?" Amar asked.
"That is really none of you-" Garth started to say before Amaron interrupted him.
"SPEAK! or you will find an arrow in your head before you can take another step." Amaron yelled.
Garth nodded, "I am from the northern mountains on the land of Azuria." he said.
Amaron gave him a weird look, "There are no northern mountains here, nor a place called that. Not to mention the people of the north look nothing like you! What is your purpose here?" Amaron continued as he constantly moved circling Garth.
"I have none, I was kind of tossed here." said Garth, who was now confused. "Last thing I know I was in Azuria fighting this strange creature wh-" Garth was cut off once again by Amaron who's eyes widened in surprise.

Amaron let loose his bow, the arrow flew past Garth's head as it slammed into an orc who was jumping from a nearby tree to kill Garth. Garth quickly turned to see the troll with an arrow in his head. "You must not be aligned with Tyre then" Amaron said as he hurried over to the Orc and pulled his arrow out.

"What the hell is going on here?!" Garth exclaimed looking at Amaron.
"I don't know Garth but that was just a scout orc which means that-" This time Amaron was cut off by the sound of armor clinking around in woods. He looked over and focused his energy to see farther with his eyes. He looked and saw a large group of Orcs and humans coming their way. "Shoot." Said Amaron as he knocked another arrow. Garth took a step back. "I hope you know how to fight Garth of Azuria." Amaron said.
It was then that an arrow came flying out of the woods at Amaron. Who started to move to dodge it.

Garth's eyes turned brown as the earth itself lifted up and caught the arrow mid air before it got closer. The mound of earth settled back into place as Garth's eyes turned back to their original color. "You could say I know how to fight." he said.

Cryalis smiled as her hapless pursuers ran around like chickens in the darkness below, as she watched them from the shades of a fir tree. Amateurs, she thought as she examined their erratic movements, waiting for a pattern to show so that she might be able to take a shot at one of them before she moved along. This hunt was beginning to get tiring- for weeks these imbeciles had hunted her in revenge of a well-paying contract from a wizard to take out another one, accusing him of necromancy. He was right, but he didn't mention that his disciples would be as mad as hornets about it. They were in the darkness below, casting their spells, jumping at shadows, and not once looking up.

Noting the erratic pattern that one of the people below had taken, she quickly began to take aim and draw back, easing and regulating her breathing until it seemed as if she was holding her breath. Just a moment away from shooting her arrow, the wind quickly changed direction, and started to swirl around her. Concerned, she drew upon what little magical ability she had, momentarily distraught. Had she been discovered so easily? Calming herself quickly, she did the only thing she was prepared to do at the moment- she released the arrow.

The winds took her from her world the moment the arrow found its mark. The apprentice was struck dead, but not a whisper of movement could be heard from the nearby trees. As, in fact, there was nothing that was capable of disturbing them present.
As the whirlwind whipped around her, she felt the winds tugging at everything. They managed to make off with one of her boots, as well as her knife and bits and pieces of her clothing, but she managed to keep her trusty bow and several of her arrows. As the tornado continued to increase in furiosity, she found herself unable to keep her balance, and was quickly thrown unconscious by the force of the wind...
She was not sure how much time had passed since she had landed, but all she could think was how warm it was.

Granted, she came from cooler climate, so it what she called hot would have been warm to most people. Blinking back, she stared upwards for a moment before quickly sitting up- much to the distress of her scar- and examining her surroundings. She was in a deciduous woods, the leaves of the rare- at least, in her eyes- oaks and birches stirring the woods, although there were several trees that she did not recognize. Silently looking around, it seems that what she had lost was gone for good. Cursing under her breath, she looked around. Where had they sent her?

Hearing rustling nearby, she noted movement in the bushes nearby. Stealthily, she watched as a pair of people defended themselves from archers of an unknown race, shooting them from the bushes. Her gut telling her that the two people who were being attacked were in the right, she smiled slightly, breathing in a lungful of warm air, her smile turning into a smirk as she felt the ice magic turned the warm air into frigid, ready to use her magic to push the assailants out of the bushes...

When he returned to consciousness he was falling.

Bright blue light swirled around him, his robe flapping in the wind. An aura of multicoloured light extended around him, flickering rapidly. As he noticed this, a well-worn book flew out of his grip. He hadn't noticed he had it.

The book was important, he realised with a jolt. It had things in it that he needed and he had to get it back. He reached for it, but it was too late. A flash of white light and it burned up, leaving no sign it had ever existed.

More importantly, he'd caught sight of his arms. They were jointed in too many places, bending in ways no arm should have done. He wasn't as certain about this, but he could've sworn they used to be shorter.

Abruptly, the blue light faded and he landed on solid ground with a thump. It was not as painful as he expected. Was there magic at work? He was in a forest, and there were no forests near...wherever he was before this. Where was he?

Who was he? He remembered people being respectful to him, bowing and calling him "Magus". Perhaps that was his name—

A metallic clanking interrupted his thoughts. His vision had been blurry since he'd fallen out the blue vortex, but he could make out several armoured men, as well as others who looked more monstrous.

Not like I'm in a position to judge.

Magus tried to stand, and found that his legs had been transformed similarly to his arms. After some effort he managed to get to his feet.

At the same moment, a cry of alarm rang out. One of the men had spotted him and raised his bow. Panic surged through him—

and the aura of light surrounding him flared a brilliant white and exploded.

A silhouette figure watched the Norse God of Tricks verbally harass the room. Other voices spoke up, but this figure didn't. Father--the nickname assigned to the paternal figure--found this all amusing. So-called villains complaining about errors in their interdimensional portals. For christ's sake, this was theoretical physics and magic at play! Of course it didn't go the way it was planned! Complain about errors in simple plans, where errors shouldn't happen, and burn the offender for being so stupid.

Loki mentioned an old enemy coming back, laying down a picture as proof. Father leaned in, but he was far back in the room and couldn't get a good look at the man. Now this was getting interesting...A god with enemies he can't kill? Father wondered how powerful this man was. The Sorcerer shouted for silence and Father leaned back again, taking a drag on his pipe. The smoke was almost gone. He would need more tobacco. Hmm...does this place have tobacco? Dang, he should have checked before he agreed to this. Then again, he was promised priceless technology, willing soldiers, and rule over a new land, full of all sorts of children to torture...
Mehra Sarethi fought to catch her breath as the last of the Heart Chamber collapsed into the lava pool of Red Mountain below. She had just escaped death by cave in after murdering the Devil himself, Dagoth Ur. The rest of the Citadel seemed safe, but there was no way of knowing if the cave in would continue. She just paused for a breath, looking down at her feet, and then looked up again.

A ghostly woman in an heavenly blue dress was smiling at her. She carried an air of unimaginable beauty and grace without having to move at all. Mehra somehow knew this woman was real even though she could see straight through her and at the wall. Mehra had met this woman once before, and though it seemed perfectly normal for one to hallucinate after a traumatic mage battle--as it turns out, Dagoth Ur was an extremely skilled mage--she was real. This was Azura, the Goddess of Dawn and Dusk, of unimaginable mystery and beauty, of secrets and whispers in the tides of Fate, Mother of the Rose, and Ruler of Moonshadow. The sight of her was calming. Azura was one of the few Daedric Princes that cared for the well-being of Her subjects.

"Thank you, Saint Nerevar. I wish you eternal peace. But, I will not grant it now. You are needed elsewhere. A storm is rising, and it effects all Planes. You shall protect Ours." The goddess spoke with a thousand voices and a thousand tongues, but Mehra understood her words perfectly. However, the meaning escaped her. A storm that effects all Planes? Did that mean just Oblivion was in danger too? Couldn't the all-powerful Daedra and the remaining Aedra fight it?

None of her questions were answered. Azura melted into the shadows as a whirlwind flung Mehra into the air. The tiny mage dropped the only three heavy artifacts on her, Sunder, Keening, and Wraithguard. Those three precious artifacts fell to where Azura's feet stood just a moment before, and the Nerevarine disappeared from Mundus...
She awoke to the smell of a battlefield.

Smoke, steel, blood, and ash. Mehra was very familiar was that smell. This was the smell of death; the stink of a recent battle, before the vultures come and eat it all up, leaving only armor and weapons for the Mages Guild to find eras later. But, there was something surprising to Mehra; a battle was currently happening.

She opened her eyes. Her right hand was bare. So Wraithguard really was missing. Great. Now anyone can find those tools and some tiny remaining piece of the Heart and start the cycle all over again...No, she destroyed the Heart. The tools are just tools now, with nothing to manipulate. Good. Now she could go back to being herself; being Mehra, instead of Saint Nerevar. She closed her eyes again.

Someone cried out. Blinding light flashed, even through her eyelids, and she squinted and covered her face with her hands. That same person screamed again.

Screw laying around, she had to do something or die! That had to be a light spell used offensively--something Mehra knew Illusion mages loved to do. Certainly a Sound spell was coming next, and she would be deaf for the rest of this battle. The Dunmer scrambled to her feet and held out her hands in the standard spelling position.

"Oh Nine Divines, what is[i/] this fetcher!?" Mehra screamed. Standing fiveteen feet or so was a glowing, bulgy-eyed, antennae, scaly...thing. It looked humanoid, but nothing else was recognizable. An archer--Bosmer, probably, Mehra didn't get too good of a look at him--was on the ground nearby. He had to be the recipient of the spell, and this...creature, as the caster.

[i]Don't get caught up in appearances. Just roast it. It looks like a Scrib, so it must cook like one too. Time for some fireballs...
Mehra held her hands out in front of her again, moved them in a circle and spoke the words for a ranged fire spell. Flames formed on her bare hands, licking at them but not causing pain. Finally, she pushed her hands out and the fire shot towards the alien creature...

Darkness greeted Savin as he and his battle party transitioned back through the Vale. The main hall of the fortress greeting them as they finished their transition, the familiar sounds of the general busy work of the inhabitants a welcome replacement to the silence of the shift. Stepping into the wide hall he let Aeterna slide enough that its shaft touched the floor, allowing something to lean on after the long battle, he wasn't exhausted by any means, he rarely felt such a reaction now, but this battle had been a particularly tough one. An upstart lord was siphoning the magic of his lands in an attempt to sunder his enemy forces and fortresses, however the fool was crafting a spell that would sunder the deep rocks of mountains and plains, allowing the molten rock to bubble to the surface. The walkers had stopped him, but he had still been in possession of a amount of World magic.

"Brother Savin."

Savin stalled his walk to allow another armored and hooded figure to catch up to him, the style of armor and the size and color of the crystallized magic giving him clues to her name. "Hello Sister Ness." he responded, his voice edged with tiredness. "What seems to be the problem?"

"The Grand Masters wish to speak to you." she informed him as she came along side him "Something about a Vale wound."

Savin grimaced, a Vale wound was the worst type of breach. It had happened only a few times in the pas, but each time it meant a world altering event had occurred. "Alright tell them im-" He never finished his sentience as the roar of countless Vale Paths rushed together, forming a cyclone like portal, cracks forming along the Vale around it. The Cyclone whipped around for a short time before it latched onto Savin, drawing him in against his best struggles.

Exiting the cyclone was to Savin as looking at the sun after being in the darkest cave is to normal people. He was truly blind as he tumbled out of the portal, though only for a few moments as his eyes "adjusted" to the foreign Astrial Paths. It was at this time he noticed something was terribly wrong, the wind was howling by him, ripping at his hood, Aeterna tumbled next to him, its blade singing as it spun. He was falling. He was falling like a comet would, his glowing tendrils adding the tail as he fell.

Gritting his teeth he grasped Aeterna and turned himself over, to look at the ground. He suppressed a gasp as the ground appeared, very far below him, and frantically began searching for a proper Stream. Finding one he exhaled, the magic taking hold as he did, and he vanished in an instant, reappearing on the ground the displaced air making a large thunderclap as he did so. Looking up he found himself in a forest, several odd creatures gripping cruel looking blades stood around him, obviously surprised at the sudden appearance. Getting over their surprise one pointed at Savin and yelled something in a guttural language , sending the others careening at him. Bringing Aeterna to bear Savin met the attack. Aeterna's blade easily pierced through the lead one, and extending his left hand rapidly Savin sent two darts of pure force at the second, the purplish energy making its body twist awkwardly before hitting the ground. Drawing out his weapon and lowering his hand the Walker silently advanced on the third, which stumbled and fell as it tired to get away. A quick jab finished off the creature, just as Savin heard the sound of battle against what seemed like more of these creatures. Gripping Aeterna he moved towards the sounds.

Amaron was ready for this fight, he wanted some revenge for his men that were lost in the battle. That is when he had heard the same noise as when Erak appeared. It was the same noise from the battle, a loud whining style of noise that echoed he looked up and saw the cyclones appear. This was great, he got to see and study them, there had never been so many appear like this since the battle. He couldn't get a good look at them as they fell from the sky, he had bigger fish to fry he shot an arrow quickly again into the woods. He heard an orc scream in pain. Hit, he pulled out an arrow that was doused in magic from the quiver on his side. He fired the arrow following it while amplifying his eyes with magic he watched as it embedded itself in a Kobold's head. Blood streamed from the head everywhere, but it wasn't done he released the magic and sent an electric shock to about 3 others.

He then took a step back releasing the magic on his eyes. Resting for a bit he heard now what sounded like fighting in there. Whoever these people were they must have not been friends of Tyre. Amaron narrowed his eyes again as he amplified them, he couldn't figure out most of their races, except for one that looked like an elf. They were all very oddly shaped and dressed, they definitely weren't the prettiest bunch in his eyes. He looked over at the middle of the group of attacking enemies. He realized he might need help, knocking another arrow and firing it. It nailed the Orc next to the creature right in the arm as the orc swung. But the arrow didn't stop it pulled the orc back as it embedded itself into a Kobold's head. The Orc fell to the ground with the extra weight on his arm he couldn't lift his arm up.

Amaron took another step back taking a breath relieving the magic he was using on his eyes. Garth looked at him and looked at the forest. Garth could tell that there was someone else in there, more people, perhaps like him. Garth Could see a man in the middle of the little bastards that attacked the elf and him. "Let's go Elf they may need help!" he yelled as he ran towards the forest.

Of course this man who suddenly appeared would want to charge headlong into a group of enemies. Amaron thought, whoever this smelly man is he has some stones to run at a group of orcs and Kobolds. He thought the man was a drunk originally until he saw the master of magic that he displayed blocking the arrow. He hadn't even smelled of good Alcohol when he had seen him originally. But now he is running in, and it was Amaron's duty to help save him and the rest of these people, no matter who they were. They were probably lost and scared, almost as much as the people of Exterra were.

Garth rushed into the forest and got a clearer view of everything. The arrows that the Elf had shot were on point. Garth yelled a battle cry as he shot his hands out. He drew half of the orcs and kobold's attention with the loud scream. His eyes turned bright blue as he said something in Nordic (Nordic language of his realm). To Amaron he didn't understand a single thing that he had said. But suddenly multiple icicles shot out of his hands as the embedded themselves into a few of the enemies. He now said something else in nordic as his eyes turned near white as ice shot from his hands and freezing multiple of the enemies now. But there were many, and they started moving his way charging at him.

Amaron shook his head, this fool is going to get himself killed! he thought to himself. He looked back he could see a group of King's men coming to intercept the small group of Orcs and Kobolds. They would be too late by the time they got here. He started to run after Garth, he threw his bow over his shoulder and ran, when a couple of the orcs jumped from the trees at him. He pulled out his two swords and was able to easily slash them down, he didn't even have to stop pace. He wasn't gonna get to him in time. At least not in this form. He knew it too, Garth had no idea that there were a few kobolds coming right for him from behind. Garth would be dead in seconds if he didn't get to him in time. He had to do it, Amaron transformed into his wolf form as he now ran so much faster and stronger. He was on all fours as he leaped just as the Kobold that was behind Garth did. The Kobold came close to stabbing it's sword into Garth, but it soon found teeth digging into it's skin. The kobold screamed in pain as he was tossed into a tree. Amaron growled at the other one who charged him, Amaron jumped as shoved his hand into the Kobold's face it as well screamed in pain from the claws that were now sticking into it's head.

"What the hell!?" Garth exclaimed as he looked at Amaron, "Don't worry about it you fool fight!" Amaron growled. Garth nodded as his eyes now turn brown, and he lifted his hands up the ground raised and smashed into multiple different enemies. An arrow did find it's mark on his arm though. He looked to his left where it came from. Garth gave the Orc a smile as he pulled the arrow out without even flinching. The Orc's face became scared. Garth gave a battle cry as he raised his hand up while speaking in Nordic and a hand shot up from the ground grabbing the Orc and then as Garth shoved his hand forward the orc was smashed against a tree.

The Orcs and Kobolds that ran at Amaron were all now backing up after watching so many of them fall at his feet. Amaron growled and then howled at them. The few in front of him now ran. He quickly shifted out of his wolf form and pulled out a bow. The ones that ran were suddenly to his surprise not moving, he looked and Garth had shot multiple ice blasts at them and bound their feet in ice. It would be easy picking for him now. The only issue was that there was still quite a few left. Not to mention there could be ones hiding anywhere. He looked over to where an insect looking creature and the other odd looking elf were at, "Get over here and help us!" he yelled to the elf. He then knocked an arrow and fired at a charging orc, the arrow penetrated the soft spot in the orcs armor as he fell dead instantly.

Garth ended up having to pull out his sword as he swung it around fighting multiple enemies his eyes seemed to stay bright blue and white as frost attack after frost attack hit his opponents. He had no care for these others he simply cared that he was fighting. He was having a blast and loving every second of it. Perhaps one of them would actually test his skills.
Tyre sat there tapping his fingers as the big picture in front of everyone displayed the orcs and Kobold's being handled by merely only a few people. Loki sat in his chair tapping his foot in impatience. He couldn't help but continue staring at Garth. When he witnessed Amaron saving Garth he let out a yell of frustration. "Calm down Loki." Said Magneto, "They will all die in time." The rest of them nodded in agreement.

"That is true that they will eventually die, but it sure looks like they won't be at the hands of this small army!" Exclaimed Thanatos. "Do you have a problem with who I sent Thanatos?" Tyre asked with a raised eyebrow. "Yes, I feel like we should have sent more troops and someone along with them, if anything we should have let me bring mine into play!" he said with a grimace. Magneto shook his head, "The whole point of that small army was meant to weaken the town and castle, to send one of us would've been to send him or her to his death. Besides, if we wanted to do anything all we would have to do is to send my men after them and they would all be dealt with." He said with a grin. "That is not true, I would like to see how your men fight against an army of dead!" Thanatos exclaimed.

The girl in the white dress yawned, and leaned back in her chair. "Yes? Ma`am do you have something you wish to state or say?" Asked Magneto. She smirked, "Oh no by all means continue having your who can piss the farther contest with each other." Magneto and Thanatos glared at her, "And who do you think you are lady?" Thanatos asked. She chuckled, "Me? why, I am the White Witch of Narnia." she said with a grin.
"Enough babbling!" Loki said interrupting their conversation pay attention." His eyes were focused on Garth. He hated that Garth's magic control was so strong and powerful he could hardly stand it. He still remembered when Garth and Erak had both stopped him from killing of their group. In a battle against one of their gods they somehow came out on top and that ate away at Loki, he had tried to get revenge but Erak was too strong for anything Loki sent at him and Garth was too powerful. Tyre sat there watching but now it was his turn to talk. "That elf right there." he said as he pointed at Amaron, "The Lycan, he is a leader in the armies that we first encountered, he has been involved on the other side of many of my failed operations." "That elf is as annoying as anyone, I will look forward to stomping him out of existence." said Tyre. "He was the commander of the western army that broke through our lines first, he was the reason that we had to start this so early!" Tyre's voice rose as he yelled, but he calmed himself and regained his composure.

"Obviously, we won't win this battle." Said Maleficent, "What ideas do you all have to take out these fools and anyone else who decides to be foolish enough to even get in our way?" she waited for an answer but all the while watching carefully, she saw the man in the middle and how well he was handling himself. He would be no pushover either. In fact she had a bad feeling about almost all of these people. It was obvious she wasn't the only one with how some of the others were shifting so nervously. "Do not give up or become uneasy!" a voice yelled, as the Lich King stood, they are merely killing pawns, and that is all they are killing, they have yet to even be tested. A man in a white robe now appeared from the darkness, it was Saruman, "Yes, my orcs were nothing more than just that. They have yet to see our true power." he said as he held his staff proudly. With that the room seemed to calm much more as people relaxed.

Magus stumbled backwards, eyes fixed on the archer as the latter screamed and collapsed to the ground. The aura returned to its multicoloured hue and shrunk to its previous size, surrounding him. The merest desire to get him out of the way, and it had happened. How had he done it?

"Oh Nine Divines!" A woman's voice screamed. "What is this creature!?"

Creature? Turning around, he saw that she was wearing a blue robe. She had a large brow, but everything else about her looked the same fuzzy shade of grey. There really had to be something wrong with his eyes. Magus reached up to rub them, and found they were dry and faceted...

Before he could do anything, she raised her hands, moved them in a circle and said something. He didn't know the language, but he knew the motions people with innate magic used to cast spells.

He dodged, aura spiking outwards, just as the woman threw the flames that appeared in her hands at him. The fireball whistled past, only barely missing him. The fabric on his sleeve smoked slightly.

"Stop! I mean you no harm!" Surely she would know he wasn't a creature if he could speak. The light around him fluttered rapidly, and he took a deep breath, willing it to calm. It dimmed and settled somewhat, to his relief.

The sounds of a battle approached. More of the stranger-looking armoured beings ran into view, in hot pursuit by a wolf and a man who looked the very image of a barbarian. As Magus watched, the wolf changed into a man and pulled out a bow, while the barbarian fired ice beams at the soldiers, trapping them. "Get over here and help us!" The man who had been a wolf earlier shouted. Another soldier charged at him, and he shot it down with his bow.

There were more? His aura brightened considerably, and he stopped himself. Another flare would definitely draw more of them in.

"How many of them are there? And who are you?" He yelled back. Those two were definitely good, but he doubted even all of them together could face an entire battalion. Better to distract and scatter the soldiers. The light had complied in blinding the archer: would it bend further to his will?

The barbarian would do nicely to scare them. He tried shaping the light; it took on a vaguely humanoid form but that was all.

Then again, he could still hope it would blind them. He released the light in the direction that soldier had come, and the humanoid form sped forwards.

As another being joined the conflict, she knew that she could wait no longer, and expelled her breath. At first it was a breeze, but then it turned into a gust, freezing almost instantly some of the smaller, runtier creatures that assisted their masters and chilling and slowing the rest, albeit there were still many more. Before the arctic chill had faded, however, she notched an arrow, aimed, and fired, pelting a creature in the back of the head. More arrows followed soon after, and, eventually, she was firing arrows that she had recovered from the smaller creatures- effective, but rather weak.

As the number started to dwindle down, she found herself carefully backing off of the conflict, somewhat wary of these other creatures. Retreating up a tree, she watched as the trio finished up the small band, and remained silent and watchful...

No battle cry warned the enemy of Savin's approach, simply a shimmering effect within the mass of Orks and Kobolds that issued forth another thunderclap as the Walker entered combat. Aeterna sang as it cut through the air, felling the first two bodies that were unlucky enough to be in its path, turning the weapon over in his hand Savin spun and embedding it in the chest of an Ork. Two kobolds, who must have been encouraged by some laps in Savin's awareness rushed forward, their crooked spears raised, cackling in their tongue, only to be met with darts of purple energy that, like the ork in the forest, contorts their bodies and throws them like they were his with a heavy swinging log. Extracting Aeterna, whose gleam could be made out even under the black ork blood, Savin began to wade into the enemies towards the Elf and Norseman. But until he reached them he fought on, Aeterna flashing as it reflects the glow of his tendrils, the purple energy falling like smoke from his left hand as he treads his casting with his combat.

The Group of creatures had decided that the hope was lost. They ran off screaming in terror. Garth turned to Amaron and was about to open his mouth but Amaron held up his finger. Quiet, "Who are the rest of you?" he said as he looked at each one of them. He decided to keep his wolf eyes out to try to intimidate any of them from fighting him. "Where do you come from and why are you here? Are you involved with these strange happenings?" he asked.

Garth opened his mouth, "Don't you think some of them could be innocent?" he said questioning how forward Amaron was being with the rest of them. I mean they fought these creatures just like you and me. Amaron nodded, "Yes, indeed, but I don't trust those that hide!" he said as he pulled out his bow and aimed it at the direction he had seen Cryalis go, he pointed it at the bush not realizing she had gone up the tree. "So you best come out now whoever you are."

At that time, the forces had already arrived, "Captain Amaron who are these people?!" they exclaimed as they aimed bows and pikes in their direction. Garth backed up, "HEY pal, what's the idea we just helped you!" he yelled. Amaron nodded, "But until i know who you are and where you come from you are to not be trusted... So then, SPEAK!" he ordered.

Cryalis became quite overcame by the sudden arrival of more men. She knew that if they all decided to come after her, she wouldn't just be able to hide until they left. All they had to do is look up, after all, then it would only be a matter of time before they started shooting her, and it was only a matter of time before one arrow found its mark...

Carefully scaling down the tree, she opened her mouth, but was temporarily stunned by the massive amounts of pikes and spears pointed at her. Regaining her composure, she tried again. "My name is Cryalis, northern ranger, slayer of the lich, Saludin. Normally I wouldn't be far enough south to see these types of trees, but I was chased by a necromancer's cabal and... I guess one of them caught me in a banishing spell and I ended up here. I have a question for you, if you don't mind- where in the empire of Quelens are we? I do not recognize this place at all, which is unusual."

Savin wrenched Aeterna from an orks body, the dread form giving one last heave as the adamantium blade slid out from its back. The Planewalker gave a slight look of distaste at the black ichor dripping off of Aeterna's head, thankfully no-one could see it from beneath his hood. Wiping it off on the Ork's clothing Savin got the weapon sufficiently clean for now. He slammed its pole on the ground, closing the arms over the blade. He noticed Cryalis climbing down the tree and took a step back to allow her to speak without interruption. when she was finished he would step forward to also introduce himself. "I am Planewalker Savin, keeper of the Aeterna blade and warrior of the Vale." He looked at Cryalis "I am sorry, nut whatever magic pulled us here is one in the same. My home is the world of Nevisin, and nowhere have we heard of any Quelens Empire." He would turn his attention back to the elf and his soldiers "Now that we have given you the courtesy, would you be so kind as to give us your own names?" He looked around at each of the soldiers waiting for one of them to make a mistake.

The light being hadn't appeared to do much other than explode, but the soldiers in its vicinity began screaming and swinging their weapons wildly. Some tried to run, but tripped over their fellows or were cut down by others. One of them seemed to be throwing darts of purple energy and wielding a sword at the same time, slicing through the horde like butter. Eventually the last of the soldiers had run off.

Magus felt a twinge of envy. Everyone else had magic which they could actually use in combat. He could have done similar things, he knew it. If he'd had the time; if he hadn't lost that book-

He blinked. Or tried to, as he had no eyelids. What was so important about the book?

The man with the bow looked round at everyone. His eyes changed to what Magus supposed were wolf eyes. They definitely didn't look human anymore.

"Who are the rest of you? Where do you come from and why are you here? Are you involved with these strange happenings?"

Where had he come from? He tried to think back, but he only got vague flashes: an imposing stone building, rooms filled with books; one of them with a bed and table piled with scrolls and dusty tomes...

Out of the corner of his eye, he saw the leaves on the trees rustle. He turned in that direction as a party of soldiers rode into the clearing.

"Captain Amaron, who are these people?!" Bows were raised and pikes pointed at them as they spoke, and Magus couldn't help but flinch.

"What's the idea? We just helped you!" The barbarian yelled. The wolf-eyed man, Amaron, nodded, "But until I know who you are and where you come from you are to not be trusted... So then, SPEAK!" he ordered.

Magus frowned as a woman with a bow and the man who had been throwing purple energy darts earlier stepped forward and gave their names. He had never heard of the Quelens Empire, or Nevisin. If they were all called from different worlds in the same way, why didn't he remember anything? And what had made him like this?

The man stopped speaking, and Magus took that as his cue to step forward.

"My name is Magus. I do not remember where I came from, but I believe I was called from my home world like Savin here and transformed into this in the process." He wasn't sure if that had actually happened, but it was his best guess. To the woman, Cryalis, he spoke, "I have never heard of a Quelens Empire either, for whatever that's worth."

Amaron grimaced as each one spoke, "I can not tell you that we know of any of the places in which you have mentioned." he said. Amaron thought to himself, damn, just as I thought, none of them have any memory of anything here, they must be from another world like the others." Amaron sighed as he lowered his bow, "Follow us." he ordered as the troops moved into a circular formation surrounding everyone. Amaron walked in front. "I would not expect any of you to know where we are, this is the beautiful land of Versella and we call this entire vast world of ours Exterra." he said. "Wherever you have come from I don't think you will be returning anytime soon." he said.

Garth spoke up now, "So where are we going?" he asked.
"Simple barbarian, we are going to the mighty castle of Versella where we will find out where your allegiance is landing. We do not know much but we know that Tyre has summoned people and armies here to help him. Those orcs we fought were not orcs from here. In fact the orcs from here are a lot shorter and kinder." Amaron said as he walked. "So I can only assume you were brought here the same way they were, which makes all of you liabilities to the crown and this land." Amaron said very harshly.

Garth shook his head, "Look man, I just want to go home, so send me back, I don't care about what's going on with you and your kingdoms, and I doubt anyone here has any intention of killing your king and people." Garth said. "However," he continued but his voice got very deep and quiet as his face turned dead serious. "If you try to pull anything to hurt me I wi-" He was cut off by Amaron who in a split second, had an arrow knocked on his bow and had swung around and fired the arrow that landed right in front of Garth.

Garth's eye's widened. It was so fast he didn't even see him move. Amaron looked at all of them, I expect all of you to behave and not give any threats, because in the end if I have to fight.." Amaron said darkly as his teeth and face started to make the form of a wolf. "If I have to fight any of you I'll devour you." he turned back and kept walked as they reached the gates. The gates opened for them and they started to walk towards the castle in the center of the town on top of a hill that looked like it had layers of hills.

Magus's heart sank. Amaron was right; the names meant absolutely nothing to him. And if they couldn't go back...

No. He could find a way. He had to. He'd never let trifles like impossibility stop him before. And he had to hold on to that thought, whether or not it was actually true, otherwise he'd be well and truly lost.

They began walking. The trees blurred together as he passed, and the soldiers seemed to merge into fuzzy grey silhouettes, which made his head start to throb. He tried focusing on his aura, willing it to disperse. It didn't, but it dimmed considerably, and it took his mind off the headache.

"Look man," the barbarian spoke from up ahead, "I just want to go home, so send me back; I don't care about what's going on with you and your kingdoms, and I doubt anyone here has any intention of killing your king and people." Magus couldn't help but nod in agreement.

"However, if you try to pull anything to hurt me—"

Amaron's hands darted towards his bow and arrow, and Magus stepped back just before Amaron nocked the arrow, swung around and loosed it. The arrow landed right in front of the barbarian.

Inwardly, Magus cursed. His aura was now tinted a bright red. It had flared outward earlier, and was now pulsing rapidly. He concentrated, and tendrils extended from it to wrap around his arms. It was still red, but at least it had calmed down.

Amaron looked at all of them. "I expect all of you to behave and not give any threats, because in the end if I have to fight.." His teeth and face started to make the form of a wolf, which was somehow even more disturbing than actually turning into one. "If I have to fight any of you I'll devour you."

Soon after that, they reached the city gates which swung open as they approached. Up ahead, there was a castle on a terraced hill, which was apparently their destination.

As the group began walking up the hill, Magus took the opportunity to make his way over to the armoured man wielding the sword. Savin. A Planewalker, whatever that was; something to do with travelling between worlds?

"Savin, was it?" Before the man could answer, he went on, "You said you were a Planewalker. How does that work?"

Not in a position to argue, and curious as to how this world functioned, Savin followed along with the armed guards and the wolf like ranger. As he walked he heard his name called, turning his head slightly he saw that it was the ant like creature that was speaking to him. He listened to his question, and thought for a moment before responding "That is a complicated question Magus, the proper answer had many different variables, however the short answer is that we traverse the space between our world and the Vale by use of 'currents', which are in themselves almost like weak points where the two dimensions meet. Where I come from the Vale is much closer to the world than here, yet-" He dd with a slight pop, reappearing on the other side of Magus his stride never broken "currents still exist." About this he was telling the truth. In his sight he could see various treads that shone with a pale light, invisible to everyone else, and while there were not as many as home they still gave Savin a small measure of the comfort of similarity "Perhaps I might be able to investigate their Vale in more depth at some point." He quietly contemplated as the group was reaching the city

Magus tilted his head at Savin's demonstration, evidently a form of teleporting. The Vale sounded like the space between different realities, however that worked; it was easy to believe it could extend to unrelated worlds as well. Something to keep in mind, perhaps.

Still, there was a nagging feeling that this kind of inquiry was how he'd gotten into this situation in the first place. When he tried to remember why, he could feel anxiety setting into his mind like hooks and his aura, which had been changing back to its multicoloured hue and uncoiling from his arms, began twisting slowly and turning a smokey grey.

"Impressive," he said. "Is this how the whirlwinds that brought us here worked? And can the Vale be accessed by anyone or is that talent limited to a select few?"

They finally made their way up to the castle, as Amaron yelled for the guards to open the gates. The gates opened to be shown even more wizards and guards in different armor than the ones that currently held the group. Amaron turned his head as he spoke, "Sorry but we don't know how powerful any of you are, so these extra precautions must be done. In fact, the King is probably going to want to see you himself.

Amaron guided them through the castle to the kings chamber where the king sat. a decently sized man, but at the same time if you looked you could see muscle bulging from his arms and legs. He was definitely no fat pig of a king. He stood up as the group entered. "WELCOME TO MY WORLD!" he yelled his voice boomed. he walked up with guards in front of him holding pikes out as if the others were about to charge him. "I want you to remember that, this... is my world." the king said. Amaron knelt down.
Garth was analyzing every person they passed and everyone that was a soldier, the difference between the soldiers that were holding them now and in the castle was quite large. His glasses portrayed into his eyes images and statistics of each soldiers physical prowess. He grinned, maybe someone here could actually give him a challenge. He saw Savin teleport and grinned, these others seemed strong as well, maybe just as strong as he was. He couldn't wait to fight, if this turned into one it would surely be bloody.

The King was no slouch, his rating were off the charts, Garth was hoping the King might want to fight but he doubted it. He knelt down as Amaron did and looked over at the others, "We should all kneel" he said whispering to them.
The King looked over all of them, "You are all out manned and surrounded, so if you are against us give up, but, if you wish to go home, back to your home world, then you need to listen to me and my orders and I will be able to take you home. But for me to direct you to do that you will have to fight in a war. Now if you do not wish to fight I can help you with living a life here, under close watch" The king said as he pointed to the ceiling revealing people in the rafters in all black with crossbows strung and ready to attack. "If you wish to join, I only need know your name and where you came from and how you got here, one of you needs to speak up.So... it is your choice if you are to get home or not." he said with a grin.

Garth sighed as he stood, "I am Garth that is all you need to know, I was defending a town from a beast I had never seen before when I was taken away by a twister that dropped me down here. I do not come from anywhere for in my world I have been a travelling nomad for years now. I want to go home and I will assist in this war, but I will not be your fodder, but I will fight to fight, but just how do you plan on sending us home?" he asked curiously.

Savin shrugged "I have not seen the vale used in such a way as the whirlwinds, however it is not outside the realm of possibility. To answer your second question the Vale, at least where I am from, can be assessed by everyone with sufficient power. Learning to use it correctly and being chosen as a Planeswalker is a different matter altogether."

As the entered into the castle, Savin quieted and began to observe and remember. He continued to do this even when they were brought in front of the king. Unlike most of the others Savin barely bowed, enough to show respect to the king but also enough to keep his eyes watching him, unseen from beneath his hood. Gripping his weapon he waited till the others were done before stepping forward "This is my best chance at at least learning more, if not going home" he thought to himself before he spoke "I am Planeswalker Savin Theios from the world of Nevisin. I was brought to this place from our world after resolving a conflict within it. I am well versed in war and in various studies, I am also certain you will find my abilities to be a boon to you.""
