I am planning on sort of doing that in my first post...

How much time are we allowed to pass in one post? I need to know how flexible we can be with it for our first post

Hmmm..

You can use as much time as you want, I suppose. Though I did mention in both interest checks that when it comes to NRP GMing, i'm still a newbie. So i'll put this to you guys, do you think it would be beneficial to have a dating system? How much time would you say is sufficient for each post?

I'm more of a fan of abstract time progression.

It does seem logical to me that if your post is not directly connected to any other, then you should be able to use as much time as required. The only time this wouldn't apply would probably be in battles where each posts time length would depend on the intensity of the siege.

Preferably I like some organization myself, as it helps keep things neat and less confusing. Also avoids that, "No no! You agent can't have done so-and-so, cause this-and-that has already been done!"

Also we have an advantage over traditional RP, in that time doesn't flow properly in a Prince's realm, so it's entirely possible that things could be happening at the same time, at extend time, shortened time or just generally convoluted time.

Would it not be logical to assume that something happens after something else if it is posted after? The difference in time would just be down to our own interpretation based on the content of the post an how long it would realistically take for such events to unfold?

Depends on what kind you organization you want. If one for judging time, usually a 'turn' is used, in which one turn, people can do a set amount of actions. Like raising an army, or fouling an enemy, and so on. Thus keeping ppl from doing a bounce of things that can effect the story at once.

The problem with that, is that it's the kind of thing that stifles creativity. You'd have people making content-less posts just so that they could use a turn and allow them to do more interesting things later. I figure we won't worry about time organisation just now. We'll see how it goes without an explicit organisation and if it needs a bit of order, we'll think about it then; but not before.

Nonononononono. No turn system, I absolutely hate and despise those kind of things. I prefer my RPs freeform and open; plus a system like that wouldn't really work in this RP I don't think.

Ya, there's a up side and down side to everything, Ultimately up to the DM. I think this RP has lots of promise either way.
