The day that they learned that they were simply playthings to the man that was Akihiko Kayaba.
They had bought this game and logged in for one reason or another. Friends were doing it. It looked fun.
But it all changed within the first day of play.
Now we're all stuck in the game, and only a few of us have grasped what is going on.
We have to fight. We can't just wait for someone else to do it for us.
This will follow a limited amount of characters as they make their way through the death game. There may or may not be character death, pending on how the players go through the game. In this run of SAO, Kirito doesn't save the day at an early level. There were no beta testers, no one to warn the players of what was to come. The players have to learn on the spot and figure the game out. Though the guide book exists, it only gave basic information on skills, how to perform skills, and small quests. Information Brokers will now play a much larger role in this game, as you will need all the help you can get to figure out how to stay alive.

1. Swearing will be allowed, just nothing excessive.
2. Keep things on the PG-13 level.
3. Considering the point of this will be to level your characters, powermodding will be accepted to a limited degree (Such as when you're fighting lower-level mobs).
4. No Godmodding.
5. All GM's have final say. If there is debate, a vote will happen between them. Majority will rule.
6. PVP will be allowed, but must be fair if the two characters are engaging in a duel. Before murdering a character, confirm the kill with one or more of the GM's in OOC or via PM.
7. Romance is allowed.
8. Loot will be given by GM's, via a post below this one on the OOC, inventories will be managed in that post. Questions regarding this can be resolved in OOC or via PM.
Name: Grey
Physical Appearance: A mix between lanky and lean body structure. Standing at six feet tall, this black-haired male has two different colored eyes, and while both are shades of grey, one is darker than the other. His right temple has a small scar from an incident in his childhood, as well as his nose being slightly indented compared to other people's at the bridge near his eye-level, also an incident from his childhood. His face is sharp, having lost all baby fat through puberty, and there is a small tattoo on the right side of his neck. His hair is short, though not in a buzz-cut. Generally it is set into a 'spiky' hair do, though when he logged into SAO it was pushed down so only the front part of it is spiked up.

Brief Bio: Had always been a gamer, since he had moved from the United States to Japan, he had enjoyed the culture of gaming there. While recently he hadn't had too much time for games due to his job as an IT consultant, some friends convinced him to try to buy the game 'Sword Art Online'. After he did, he found out that none of them had managed to grab a copy, so he figured he'd just give the game a go. Little did he know what he was getting into.
