"Leyya, but you can call me Ly if it fancies you," Leyya spoke as she took out her longsword to clean it from the blood that came from the ruffian she smashed with before. Then she continued: "I am, together with many other things, an Adept as I demonstrated on one of those thugs earlier with Psyenergy." She slowly cleaned the blood, making sure not to leave any trace of the red liquid and then proceed to use a whetstone to sharpen the blade while waiting for the conversation to go on or the guards to finally show up - no matter what maintaining your equipment was crucial for a traveler and adventurer. The sound of the whetstone sharpening the blade filled the room...

Isaiah nodded at cale's inquiry. "Yeah i'm an adept. Ooga booga. Run like others do. Name's Isaiah." Isaiah said bitterly. "Nice to meet you as well leyya." he remarked, rolling his eyes sarcastically.

He had thoughts about grabbing cale's second drink but thought better of it, deciding to have slight manners. "So any other adepts besides ditsy head over at the smith that we know about? Or are we all that's come out of the woodwork? And can you stop that racket? It's grating against my ears."

Cale blinked at Isaiah's reponse and then smirked before glancing at a chair a short distance away.

{Move}

To the average eye, the chair would slide along the floor on its own pushed by an invisible force. But to an adept, they would be able to see the psynergy pushing against the chair, bent to the user's will. The demonstration only lasted a couple of seconds, but the point was made.
"I have no reason to run from my own kind." Cale responded to Isaiah. After that, he looked back to Leyya. She was heavily armed, he had asked her about it earlier but they were in the middle of conflict so she dodged the question. It was obvious that Leyya was the type of person to travel alone, she had a weapon for all occasions.

"So where are you-" Cale started to ask the next series of introductory questions before there was a bell ringing to signify someone had come in the door. If one looked to the entrance they would see a Tolbi guard, standing at attention with his spear in one hand and his helmet in another. The man gave the bar a good looking over, making note of the damage before stepping in further.

"The owner of this bar said there was a scuffle here earlier. He described a group of men, two women, a northerner and a boy. With the sleeping fellows outside, I only count one person missing." The guard said. He was calm and composed, had he been expecting this sort of thing? Did this happen often? Cale nodded and looked around.

"The other girl ran off. We're not a party, we just all happened to come here." Cale said. The guard gave a sigh and moved to the table where the group was sitting.

"Alright, let's just make this quick then and avoid the run around. One of the men outside woke up and said someone threw an iceberg at him or something. Are any of you adepts?" The guard asked bluntly, repeating Cale's question to the group earlier.

"And what if we were Adepts? Last time I checked that was not illegal in any of the lands of Weyard," Leyya said while - trough she only finished the sharpening on the crudest level - wiping the excess metal dust off the sword with a piece of cloth. She slowly stood up and looked at the guard, as she returned her longsword into the scabbard on her back, - her eyes piercing trought him like he was just an obstacle that needed to be removed from her way - and spoke up again: "Now if you don't plan of charging us with a crime I would like to move on to visit the shops, find lodging and prepare for the crossing of Suhalla Desert."

"Yeah I'm an adept. I'm also very irritable so how long are you gonna be here?" Isaiah said with a smirk, arms crossed. "Anyway cale I don't know what you were going to ask me, but I'm from Garoh. So go ahead and run in fear or make fun of me or whatever. just leave me be. I hate long talks." He pulled out his broadsword, took the cloth from leyya and started polishing his broadsword. The guards eyed him cautiously and nervously as he continued.

"I can almost guarantee you it wouldn't happen to your sword. It's to identifiable to be sold. My boots however are pretty plain and easily sold as their own work. He's probably a new smith in town and is testing the waters. That or he's done it before. Either way you should be safe. Now as for your questions," she turns and leans against the counter, "Yes I am Proxian, but only half. My father was full. As for the north, several times. You would call it cold l, though the only thing I notice about snow is it's like powder," the blacksmith comes out with her boots. She inspects them before nodding taking of the leather boots she was wearing and puts them on, "Now tell me bout yourself now that I've answered your questions."

"Yeah, I have no idea where that is." Cale replied simply to Isaiah's remark before looking back at the guard. They had answered his questions, now what was he going to do. The guard kept an eye on the group but nodded when they answered and then gave his response.

"Well if you're adepts, then I would like for all of you to accompany me to the palace. Lord Iodem wants to see you." The guard said. Cale raised an eyebrow at this. Iodem was the lord regent, he was given control over Tolbi after Babi, the previous leader, had passed away. The people liked him well enough and he did a good enough job at being lord regent that nobody had tried to contest it. As such, he had been in power for many years.

"Are you arresting us? Why does Lord Iodem want to see us over a bar brawl?" Cale asked suspiciously. The guard shook his head and clarified.

"You're not under arrest, and milord made it clear that I was not to force anyone to come in. However we're under orders that if we come across any...capable looking adepts that we should try to bring them to him. He did not say why. He had dealings with adepts in the past though." The guard said. Cale thought on the matter for a moment. Why would the lord of Tolbi want to see adepts? Was it about the raiders? Maybe it was a trick to try and bring adepts in so they could interrogate them and see if they were related. It was an interesting notion, but then again this man was making it clear that this was strictly voluntary. Finally, he finished his glass and stood up.

"Fine, I'll go." Cale said.
Back in the market, a guard would approach Marta with a man in his custody. The man appeared to be slightly bruised, and pointed at the girl accusedly.
"That's her! That's the one I saw cast the spell!" He said. The guard nodded and handed the man off to one of his colleagues before he approached the girl. She was young looking, could someone like this really be as dangerous as that thug was saying? They had strict orders though, no adepts were to be harmed unless they were actively disrupting the peace and this girl wasn't doing that right now. It had sounded like self defense in the bar earlier anyway, Marcelo and his friends were always causing trouble.

"Excuse me Miss, a word? Are you an adept?" The guard asked, getting right to the point. He noticed the red skinned woman with her and it made him slightly uneasy, but he held his composure while he spoke.

Leyya sighted and said: "Well it would be bad manners to refuse to see the Lord Iodem. I shall go to."

"I just hope it won't be just a waste of time, " she though as she stood up and turned to Isaiah, her voice like a whip waiting to hit something, while speaking to him: "You are being extremely rude boy and although that strap of cloth is not important I would ask of you to return it to me. You don't just go and take someone's property without asking them to borrow it to you, have you been raised by wolves rather then lycans of Gartoh? It was not a outlander-friendly place last time I were there but at least they all had proper manners."
She let out a small chuckle and then, while her face took on serious expression, said, with a ordering voice which somehow was quiet and completely clear at the same time, while placing his hand in front of him: "Now give me back the cloth."

She still glanced on the guard but that was all, the boy taking something hers without asking was a much serious matter then the guard, after all the guard cloud always be Jetted away and she cloud run for it - she was confident that no one cloud catch her. She waited for the boy's reply...

Marta raised an eyebrow at the accusation he heard from the ruffian before answering the guard

"Silly thug, there is no such thing as magic and spells! It's psynergy But yeah, I'm an adept."

She then turned to half proxian and ignored the guard, whom she took for just a curious client

"Well, my name is Marta. I'm from Lemuria, where I've been living all my life. Time goes weird there, lemurians never grow and humans age faster, you would have never guessed that I'm not even four years old, he he. But in any case, this is my first time in the outside world, and everything is so exciting and new to me that I can't but just explode in glee. Well, except for an altercation that I had with some guys that tried to rob me in a pub, (that's how I got my sword broken) but they were no problem, there was another adept big sis there who helped me besides lil' bro Isaiah and with some psynergy it was like KA POW! and off the robbers went."

"Honestly, that was actually fun."

Isaiah was taken aback by the sheer abrasiveness of this woman. He might actually tolerate her. "Well you're half right," he remarked tossing her cloth back to her,"but I didn't have the pleasure of being raised even by wolves. might have been better if I did."

Looking back at the guard Isaiah calmly and with a twinge of glumness answered the guard's question. "I guess I'll go I have nothing better to do. But if there is even a trace of suspicious activity I WILL be upset. So no tricks or anything like that." Isaiah walked through the door and leaned up against the wall, waiting for the other two to go and the guards.

"Yes, and we couldn't possibly have that." Cale said sarcastically to Isaiah's comment about being upset. This kid was acting a bit too big for his trousers, it made Cale smile when Leyya put him in his place. The guard rolled his eyes at the exchange, either because he was annoyed at having to act as some sort of envoy or maybe he just didn't take the three seriously. Regardless, this was his job and he wasn't going to avoid doing it.

"Let's get going then." The guard said, putting his helmet back on and leading the others back through the streets. With a guard in tow, it was a lot easier to get around. Crowds of people would immediately part and get out of the way. Honestly Cale could get used to this sort of treatment.

Along the way they would pass by the blacksmith yet again and lo and behold the young girl from earlier was there. She was also talking to a woman, a proxian looking woman at that. Cale didn't recognize her though, so either she wasn't from the village or hadn't been back there in many years. There was also a guard desperately trying to get their attention.

"EXCUSE ME MISS." The guard said very loudly and rudely before noticing Cale's group. The loud guard immediately took attention and saluted as the other soldier nodded back.

"Ah Captain! Sorry, I was just-" He gestured back to the girl and the woman before Cale stepped forward.

"Hey, you. We're going to the palace. You should come." Cale said. He then looked at the proxian and nodded at her too. "You too, you're one of my kind so you're probably an adept too right?" Cale assumed.

Sayuri's eye twitched when the Proxian invited her to come along. It annoyed her that any Proxian who passed thought they would be friends. She looked over to the Lemurian, 'She doesn't seem like someone who could tell any sort of lie well, which makes me even less trusting... Though I am curious as to why the their looking for adepts...'

Straitening up she places the sword back on her shoulder, "I'll come along as long as Marta here comes with. She seems quite good company. Also I'm not surrendering my sword for any reason."

Marta couldn't hold her excitement, not only another proxian had appeared but he has revealed himself to be an adept, and the woman she was talking with too, and she had just been invited to the palace, where she surely was going to meet some fancy and important people and that would be totally cool!

"Sure I'll go, it seems totally fun, maybe they'll invite us to a feast and a hot bath and they'll ask us to talk about our psynergy powers!"

And maybe she will earn a place in the court and gain a nobility title, and she would became some short of lemurian emissary and one day a handsome and rich prince would ask her hand and she would become the beautiful ruler of a land where she would live happily ever after with tons of money! Marta couldn't prevent making a stupid smirk because of her fantastic delusions, but she got it together and shaking her head to wake up back to reality she noticed that the proxian was going with Isaiah and also the adept girl that had saved her back in the pub.

"Hey! If it isn't big sis and little bro! Oh my, are you an adept too, Isaiah? That's awesome! Well, proper introduction this time, my name is Marta, it's a pleasure, are we going to the castle now or what?"

Truly, she couldn't hold her excitement

As soon as Leyya saw the girl from before in front of her she was glad to see that the girl was safe and had her spirits back up but that big sis part bothered her and hoping it will make the girl stop from using such weird way of adressing people she calmly said: "Cloud you stop with the bro and sis thing, we are not sisters and we will never be sisters same goes for calling Isaiah your bro. If you need to call me you can do so with my real name Leyya or my nickname Ly since I find the sis thing bothering me, and if I am guessing right so does it bother Isaiah. Well nice to meet you formally Marta."

She then turned her attention to the guard and said: "Now I guess that we should head to meet Iodem, no point in wasting time by staying here."

Isaiah couldn't help but chuckle at Marta's excitedness to go to Meet Iodem. Her hyperness was sort of infectious, and Isaiah himself couldn't help but feel a little perked up. What he noticed and hadn't realized before was that uptight woman number two was a proxian. She looked like the lady he had bumped into when he was storming out of the smith's shop.

Whoever she was, it didn't matter. they were all going to meet Iodem. "Come one let's go b... bi... big sis." Isaiah sputtered, choking on the words.

Cale smiled at the exchange. It was nice to finally meet someone that wasn't so glum and serious. It wasn't hard to see how Marta had gotten into trouble back at the bar though. She seemed very trusting, maybe a little too trusting at that. All the same, he took a moment to introduce himself.

"Hello Marta, my name is Cale." He said politely. At that, the guard captain gestured for the group to come on, eager to get this over with himself.

The group would venture through the streets of Tolbi without any other interruption. They were being led by guards to the palace, so clearly they were important people, at least to the average onlooker. When they reached the front gates, they were let in without question yet again.

"I ask that you keep close. The palace is fairly large, it's easy to get lost in." The captain explained.

Once inside, Caie was overcome with a sense of awe. This was nothing like he had ever seen, extravagant furniture and tapestry, large numbers of uniformed people working in tandem to keep the palace upkept. This was an average day to the guard who had led them here but to Cailan this was his first experience with royalty ever. Not even the village leader or elder lived in a home as extravagant as this.

"Whoa." Cale muttered as they were led along.

Eventually the group would arrive at the lord regent's. Surprisingly, it wasn't nearly as extravagant as the rest of the palace. There was a chair, or a throne of some sort at the far end, but it wasn't adorned with gold decorations or anything you'd expect a ruler to have. It seemed Iodem was a bit modest, at least that was the impression he was trying to give. It could be a fascade for all they knew.

The lord himself wasn't sitting in the throne, however, but was instead standing in the center of the chamber ready to greet the group. Iodem was an older man, well into his later years and spotting a head of graying hair but hardly having a withered look. He wore a black cloak with a silver border. He stood strong and proud as the group entered, giving them a nod before addressing them.

"These are the adepts I've heard about then captain?" Iodem asked. The captain nodded and moved aside to present the group.

"Yes milord. I have found them and brought them as requested." He said. Iodem nodded and moved closer to examine these people in his court before speaking again.

"May I ask your names?" He said.

"My name is Cailain Rook sir." Cailan answered simply.

Leyya was not that amazed at the palace - after all she was similar things in both Biblin and Sana - but it was clear that while the two Agarian cities were powerful today Biblin had been one for a long time. Then they came up to Iodem and he greeted then with a small nod. Then he asked them their names and Cale was first to reply. Remembering, like always in situations like those. the lesions that her teacher though her on court manners she introduced herself, trying to sound respectful but not humble at the same time: "Your Lordship of Tolbi, I am Leyya Sormgele from a small village north of Rago." She then waited for the rest to introduce themselves while sending a glare to Isaiah which said that he will pay for that "big sis" first time she get a chance to do it without anyone in her way of doing so. No one makes fun of her without apologizing or paying for that. For now she waited for everyone else to introduce themselves to Iodem ...

The guard who accompanied the group of adepts was sure that, if he had averted his gaze from the group for only a moment the girl who had presented herserl as Marta would have ran away by herself the moment they had entered the palace. It was the look in her eyes, akin to the ones of a small kid who has just entered a sweet shop, even when they were all in front of Iodem he found that the girl was stuffing her mouth with something from a rugged paper that served as an improvised bag

"You there! What's that you have? Where did you get it!?"

"Oh this? It's just some coco banana seeds I bought from the market when everyone was distracted earlier, want some?"

"How dare you disrespect the chief minister Iodem eating in his presence! You have been asked your name, adept."

"Oh sorry." the girl put the bag with the seeds in one pocket of her attire."My name is Marta, just Marta, from Lemuria"

The guard couldn't understand how her parents let her behave like that

Isaiah entered the palace with the rest of the adepts while heading up the rear. He looked around the palace and deemed it too extravagant. They finally entered into the main area where Iodem resided.

The adepts introduced themselves and it finally got to Isaiah's turn. " Hi. nice to meet you I guess. I'm from Garoh. But considering you're the one who took us here and wanted to meet us, what did you want? other wise this is a major waste of time in my day" He said, eyes rolling. Oh man were the other adepts going to hate him for that one. He turned around and walked back to the back and waited for Iodem's reply.

Sayuri was unimpressed by everything in the palace having seen nicer as a merchants daughter. She was mildly supprised at Iodem's appearance however. She switched her sword to her other hand and shoulder, "I am Sayuri Takashi, a half-Proxian adept wandering around it is a pleasure to meet you," she glares at the guy who said he was from Garoh, "While I'm obviously not as brazen as him I would like to know why you're interested in meeting us adepts."
