Current I'm back!

Bio

Been rping for a long time now. Mostly been on and off but I'd say I started...oh...what was it, about 12 years ago? First rp was a Pokemon rp that went belly up fairly quick and then I met a group of people in a Legend of Zelda RP that I stayed in for many years, making a lot of good friends (and one or two enemies).

Really I like series themed RPs the most but I have done a few originals too. Both are fun. It's really just what you do with your characters and how well you get along.

I've been wanting to come back for awhile now, and here I am. Getting back in the game yo.

Still here.
Yep we're still here. Well I'm still here at least. : P
"Yeah sounds good." Dar said as he also rose to his feet and drew his weapon. He didn't really have any other weapon options right now anyway. Sure he had his one hander starting weapon, but this sword was not only of better quality but it fit the skill set he wanted to use.

Once they had gathered themselves, Dar set out into the field with Tsukiya to go hunting. They would spot a pack of boars early on and Dar would gesture for Tsukiya to begin the attack.

"After you." He said, holding a hand out before him and stepping aside. In truth, they weren't going to get a ton of exp out of these boars much longer. Hopefully Dar could level up again before nightfall then so they could do some more advanced hunting. He also liked the idea of patrolling the field and trying to help people from getting killed who were still struggling in the first area. It'd be a pitiful end for a player to be killed by such weak monsters.
Sorry for silence, I'll have a post up shortly.
I have, which is what I meant. It makes sense in the context of the world is what I'm saying.
Dar blinked at the initial comment and smirked as Tsukiya cut herself off. It seemed like everyone in this world was pretty cynical right now, not that he could really blame them. But he was hoping that in a few days people would start to at least tryto lighten up some.

'Then again, I am talking about how people are stuck in murder world here. Maybe we'll never get better.'

When Tsukiya rolled back over and asked if he wanted to hang out with her some more, Dar became a little flustered. He was still bad at dealing with people, he had had the same problem when Geist had asked him to group up the previous day.

"Um, really? Well..." He started to say before suddenly a quest screen popped up before both of them.
"What the-" Dar thought it was a random party request from across the field again like before but as he read the details he realized that the game was trying to help him out in some weird way. As he read more into the quest details, Dar's face curved into a grin and then he fell off the rock laughing.

"Hey Tsukiya, look at that, the game even recognizes that we're both in here alone!" Dar laughed. He wasn't sure why he found it so hilarious. Maybe it was just the irony of it all or the surrealism of this situation. Or maybe he had finally just snapped. Regardless, once his giggle fit was over, Dar sat back up and wiped a tear from his eye.

"Yeah, sure, let's hang out. Night hunting sounds good. I was staying in Horunka past the forest but decided to come back out here to get some starting materials for crafting." Dar said.

@chukklehed
I'll make a post when you make the change
(I'll probably post the NPC, if you still interact with the NPC)

Edit:
Well, I really wanted to post for others to have a quest
The quest right now isn't that great, but, I hope to do this again in the future with a better quest
Do you guys like the idea?
If not, won't do it again
Well, just throwing it in there to test the waters

I think it's an interesting idea for quests to appear based on certain parameters being met, honestly. In a way it kind of makes the world of Aincrad seem a bit more alive and adapting to things that happen within it, so I don't really mind.
Dar followed Tsukiya and glanced at the rock pile he assumed she had made. He wondered how many of these piles were scattered throughout the field. Whoever she was, Tsukiya had made a large effort to make it easier for newer players going through here. Though there was only so much she could do about trauma. As she spoke, he scratched his face and sat down on the pile.

"When I bought this game I thought I was going to play with a few friends and not get stuck in some death game created by a man with a God complex, so I'd say we both kind of got our hopes up." Dar joked grimly. Ever since this whole mess had started he realized that he hadn't really talked to another human being in a way that explained what was going on. When he met Geist and Linc it was pretty much straight to business. They ran to the next town and that was it. But now, as he sat here, he was starting to feel the gravity of it all.

"Did you come in alone? Were any of your real life friends playing too?" Dar asked.

@chukklehed
Dar blushed and frowned before looking away. Great now she was laughing at him. Still, she had a point. It was an odd sight, and if he had been on a higher floor he had a feeling that he wouldn't have gotten so lucky. So for now, it was funny. Still felt kind of embarassing though.

"I-it's for medicine! I'm making healing potions!" Dar stammered before giving a sigh and putting it away. He had a feeling that she wasn't trying to be mean, so he decided to lighten up. When he saw that Tsukiya was grinning, he rolled his eyes and put his hands on his hips.

"You don't play like a new player, or at least if you are you've caught on pretty quick. Why are you still out here? You could have moved on to a more lucrative village for better quests at this point. "Dar asked.

@chukklehed
"A good samaritan eh? Well that's a lot better than the alternative I suppose. Nice to meet you, name's Dar." Dar said with a smile. So there were people looking after other players here, that put him at ease. If people stuck together, then getting through all of this would be a lot easier. It wasn't uncommon to meet helpful players in MMOs, but there were such things as griefers. It made Dar wonder about that though, would there really be people who would cause the death of other players in here if it meant that they would be killing them in real life? It wasn't too outlandish. After all, killers were a real life concept, not just a virtual one.

When Tsukiya asked him what had distracted him from the boar, Dar reached into the pack and produced a flower.
"I was...picking these." Dar said. Now that he brought it out he realized it kind of looked silly. An armed warrior picking daisies out in a dangerous field. It was pretty comical.
