I hold a mean grudge when I do have one and this is the same prick character Svenn always uses in Peril games. He killed me two to three times in the first peril... The first time he did such I tried to befriend him and he assassinated me for it ( even though I saved his fucking life and his response was "so what?"). afterwards he cause a lot of trouble and was a pain in the ass... big time...

I told you I was going to kill him several times dude... his friends you can befriend by killing me after I kill him though... but steve dies... just like how it should be. He's also a massive dick and deserves death.

Edit: not to mention that mbl wants those cubs alive and I think steve, being steve, doesn't care and will just kill them... so killing him kills their group would prevent them from doing such, letting mbl have his pets.

You've seen the side conversations in which most of the team agree'd to kill, and you voiced no problem with it. You see several team members heading towards the blacks with intent to kill, and still say nothing OOC. You shock us with the fact that you want to make peace with them, and then act like Drakel is the one doing something wrong for sticking with the plan.

I'm going to close this game for now... Currently making a whole new version of it.

Anywho, so what I'm going to do in the new game?
Make things simpler to handle as in the actual drawings and stats.
Things will look different, worse or better. (Depending on if I feel like drawing) Probably worse because in fact I'm not an artistic person at all. You'd be amazed on how simple Inkscape makes this stuff to draw and make. I literally shape squares and circles to look like things. In Real life I can barely draw a straight line. ha

Anywho, I'm always up for requests to make new things. i.e. races, weapons, monsters, etc...
I like criticism and a lot of it. This is what makes the actual drawing better if I tweek the things that you want to look better.
I would also like help if anyone is interested with creating a simple stat log type thing. (Like wooden sword does 3+ damage, but armor takes away 1/2 the damage or something) idk. I think it was Holmishire or knight that previously helped me on the money system because their was a flaw.

New game will include a Skill Tree for each race. (Again, will make new races if you ask me too and you'll either share a skill tree with other races, or have a whole new one.)

How long will this take? I'm not sure. I'm not sure if I need to fix everything, but I know I am fixing at least 3/5 of it.

New map also!... this post is getting long.

TL;DR? Give me suggestions for a better game.

I'm for it, but IMO if you're wanting to lessen your workload, stats and skill trees are not the way to go.

Anyways I think what a lot of us find best in peril is less the sandbox survival/building and more the fucking with NPCs and monsters. I'd like to see more NPC's and Monsters, and have more interesting interactions with them.

I think one of the really interesting things about this game was that we started off with a defensible structure, the fort, I could see later on conflict developing over possession of it especially if it had a limited capacity. The crevasse and cliff would have driven this, but I really wouldn't be opposed to more aggressive enemies to make finding structures like forts crucial. I don't know if that's the direction you were headed with Steve, but it would be cool to have some small bandit attacks early on and then some big monsters later which could damage wooden structures. I can't believe I'm advocating you being more aggressive. I could give you some help with the stat log if you're happy to wait until later in the week.

My tip is simple.... Go back to the original ways of Peril... Allow us to choose a race and class and our abilities are based off of that or if we learn anything else after... Keep steve out and add in someone new. When we same an NPC's life they owe us (BIG) then and there is a slight issue on you maps... one side is always blocked off which sucks when everyone starts making teams, thus preventing the team on the blocked off side from doing anything and the team on the other side gets to expand and have fun...

personally I like the way it's drawn. As for skills, perhaps there should be different groupings, e.g. a physical-based class, a magical-based class, subdivisions that are item vs ability based, general guidelines, and then have those groups learn similar abilities. Whether you're a warrior or a paladin is somewhat irrelevant, I think. What they'll learn will be similar, right?

Dice should probably be involved somewhere, too...
