((The first part of this post is from the OOC so if you already read it you can skip it))

It is 2004 and villains are on the move. Lex Luthor and Dr. Doom have teamed up to prototype a temporal resonance bomb that could potentially rewrite history and wipe their enemies from history, giving them the freedom to control the world without any pesky heroes getting in their way. They have been successful in keeping this project a secret from their enemies, taking elaborate measures to keep the existence of the bomb quiet.

Fast forward ten years and Lex and Doom have completed the bomb but there is an issue. In order to work as designed the bomb needs two things. It needs time to charge and lock onto the targets' temporal signatures in order to perform to its specifications, and it needs the targets to be somewhere nearby. Luthor has a plan to get around these limitations. He is going to plant the bomb in Times Square Manhattan and tell the heroes. In order for this plan to work they will need the heroes to stay in range without being able to defuse or destroy the bomb. To do this Lex and Doom recruit every villain they can name to help keep the heroes back and draw the heroes in.

The bomb has been planted, the villains are in attendance and the heroes, all of the heroes, are converging on Manhattan.

The battle is long, violent, hectic. The sheer number of heroes and villains in Manhattan is enough to level the city if the battle gets out of hand. As the battle continues and the bomb gets closer to completing its task a small group of heroes break through the defence and make it to the bomb. It isn't yet ready and Lex wants to fire, Doom protests saying that without having the proper amount of time to charge the effects will be unpredictable. Lex doesn't care and in his panic fires the bomb. Waves are sent out through time and space and the universe is flipped on its head. Doom was right, the effects of the uncharged bomb was unpredictable, it altered the histories of every person within range, erasing the communities or organizations they founded and altering their personal histories. Some people vanished from history, some were born in completely different centuries, some are forced together into an amalgam of two people and others are born or raised under different circumstances (sometimes in multiple places at once leading to multiples of the same person walking around), changing their view of the world and motivations for what they do, turning some heroes into villains. The worst part of it is, nobody remembers why it happened, but they are all haunted by the feeling that something isn't right.
Hank McCoy
Hank was rummaging through a trash can in an alley behind an Italian restaurant when he was struck by the feeling that something wasn't right. He looked around him but he was alone. A warm breeze drifted into the alley, bringing with it the scents of the restaurant but nothing out of the ordinary. Hank just grunted and went back to his scavenging, the blue fur up to his elbows sticky with tomato sauce and cheese as he rummaged through the bags, looking for something that wasn't dusted with rat poison. "Damn rats, ruining it for everyone else." he mumbled under his breath.

After rummaging through the trash and finding nothing he could eat Hank decided to go and wash his arms somewhere and headed out of the alley, off to find somewhere he could wash up. Probably the park, I could wash up in the pond and nobody would really care. Hank thought to himself, wiping some of the sauce and cheese off his arms as he walked, leaving puddles of red sauce and lumps of cheese in his wake for the first ten feet or so.
Kurt Halner
Kurt was relaxing in his apartment, admiring a painting he had recently "rescued" from a wealthy man's home while enjoying a fine aged wine he had relieved from the same man when he was struck by the sense that something was amiss and he disappeared in a cloud of smoke that reeked of sulphur, his wine glass falling to the floor as he reappeared a mere moment later sticking to his ceiling and blending into the shadows in the corner. He stayed in his corner for several minutes, waiting for police to burst into his apartment to arrest him and seize all of his possessions. When Kurt was satisfied that nobody was there he climbed slowly down off the wall and decided that it was time to leave for a while and clear his head. He couldn't shake the feeling that something was wrong as he put on a sports coat and loafers and left his apartment, drawing all kinds of looks from the people in the street because of his blue skin and tail.

Kurt walked down the street, ignoring the looks from others until he passed a man walking down the street that towered above the rest. The man was a little too preoccupied with wiping tomato sauce and cheese off his arms to notice Kurt but boy did Kurt notice him. "Big guy, wow." Kurt said as he stopped, watching the big guy pass, seeing the fur and the feline face hidden behind a hood before continuing on his way, deciding he would see what he could see, something was off and he wanted to find out what it was.

It was dark, and it was the way Solomon liked it. He enjoyed the darkness. He remembered little of his life before the darkness took him. He only really cared about what happened after it has spat him back out, into the shell of a body he inhabited now. The constant pain of existence ate away at him, and the mask that was fused to his face had become heavy over the centuries. He wanted rest, but in the mean time all he could do was dull the pain. Which was why he enjoyed his current home. Before he had arrived in this city, he wasn't able to indulge as frequently as he would have liked. Word tended to travel quickly when corpses began showing up mostly eaten away. But not here. The amount of people created something like an information vacumn. There was so much going on at any given moment that no one had anymore than a passing thought for a corpse, no matter what condition it was found in.

Took ill on Thursday
Grew worse on Friday

And it was a perfect environment for him. But sometimes the monotony of killing and eating the flesh would get to him. So to break up his routine, he would go on killing sprees from time to time, laughing while he did it. Something about bombs appealed deeply to him. Gas also held a special place in his heart. Something about those poor saps being so oblivious to their creeping death warmed his long dead and rotten heart.

Died on Saturday
Buried on Sunday

He didn't even need to work hard to find a lair. There was a maze of tunnels that were discarded by the people that Solomon found perfect. It reminded him of the dark tomb where he was born, cold and damp. He enjoyed the little things. He wouldn't need to eat for several hours, but he was more impatient than usual. Something was nagging at his desiccated flesh. It was the daytime, but that hardly mattered to him. Maybe he would be able to find something to entertain himself with.

Peter Queen & Norman Merlyn
Star City
Peter Queen, as the masked, bow-wielding vigilante Spiderbolt, was caught in a battle with the also bow-wielding terrorist, the Dark Goblin. He knew almost nothing about the guy, except that he was good at what he does. Arrows flew past his head, barely missing their mark. The Goblin was good. He was really good.
"Yo, ugly! You may want to improve your aim a bit!" yelled Spiderbolt, shooting three arrows at his opponent, one aimed at the face, one at the body, and one at his left kneecap.

The Dark Goblin, Norman Merlyn, caught the arrows aimed at his head and knee, and dodged the one aimed for his body. He was up in the air, standing on his glider, a piece of military-grade equipment developed by his own company, Merlyn Global Group. He released a maniacal laugh at Spiderbolt's attempt to incapacitate him, before shooting two arrows, laced with explosives. As the arrows exploded, Spiderbolt dodging them with acrobatic grace, Goblin began flying away. He could sense something was wrong, but he couldn't put his finger on it. But he had a feeling New York City would have answers.

Spiderbolt watched his enemy fly away. Something was off. No one flies away from a battle like that. But he could also feel that something was off. Feel it in his bones. So he shot a tracker arrow at the bottom of the Dark Goblin's glider, hoping that following the terrorist would give him answers.

James stood just outside an area marked and barricaded off outside of a very famous and very hyped up art exhibit. The art exhibit was housing many celebrities along with many very expensive paintings. They had skimped on nothing....except security. The three masked men wielding automatic rifles practically walked their way in before holding everyone up. The police were called to assist, but James got there first. He had formed a mutual respect and friendship between himself and the police in his area. They had suited him up with all he needed to be kept up to date with the crime in the city. A rather large walkie-talkie like piece of equipment hung on his belt from which he was told about crimes.

He was currently holding one of his revolvers pointed at one of the perps who had come out to negotiate. He wouldn't have drawn his gun if the perp hadn't been holding a hostage at gunpoint. James thought of a plan, it was risky, but if it worked everyone could go home. He stared down the barrel of his gun before a loud bang rang in his ears. His bullet collided with the perps pistol and sent the gun flying out of his hand. James sprinted at a speed far greater than the perp could see and sent a punch straight to the jaw of said perp, sending him to the ground below. Police converged on the man as James zipped into the art exhibit before sending a punch to the gut of the second perp followed by a swift kick to the chest and a sliding kick to the knees of the third and final perp. Police soon appeared on scene and arrested the perps after disarming them completely. James left soon after, to keep his identity a secret he was constantly vibrating, making his features about as recognizable as a house with weak bearings after a large earthquake.

He sprinted his way back home which was nothing out of the ordinary. His home was a middle class apartment that looked no different from any other in the apartment block. He changed into his civilian clothing, which consisted of a check shirt and jeans, while his shoes remained the same. He carried a backpack containing his 'supersuit' for emergencies. He made his way out into the world and to the nearby diner. He went there often for celebratory meals. Something felt wrong today though, he just couldn't put his finger on it.

Thomas Wayne
While walking to his cave, Thomas had noticed one of his favorite paintings were gone. He was also told by Alfred that a bottle of wine was missing. Thomas didn't know how anyone was able to break in let alone.steal from his mansion so far from the city. No matter he though. As he entered his cave he put on his suit and searched through a database for someone who was very strong. While his computer worked on that he flew is Owlwing over New York City. He had landed on Thomas Enterprises and began working up some new gadgets and seeing if anyone would come visit him.

John Wayne was not in a good mood. He'd been perched on this ledge for three hours and nothing. God damn Circusmaster. Could his henchman just be a little quicker. "Be quiet. Bastard could be anywhere," a voice said through the darkness below. There they were. The men who worked for The Circusmaster had finally showed up. His informant must have had the times wrong. John glided down to the ground, his cape extended and landed softly. "Oh yeah. The Winged Shadow. That pansy," the second henchman said mockingly as the Winged Shadow crept up behind them. John whipped out one of throwing knives which had been made with a special scarlet iron and stabbed it into one of the henchman's shoulder. He let out an anguished wail before being silenced when his head smacked to the ground. His partner spun around, a terrified look in his eye. "Hi. You were talking about me?" John asked inquisitively. The henchman remained still, paralyzed with fear. "Look. I'm gonna ask a question and your gonna answer. Alright? Don't make this hard on yourself," John said. The man nodded and said, "Y-y-yes sir." "Great. Now where is the Circusmaster?" John asked, pulling a Wingblade out and placing it to the man's throat. Intimidation was a great thing. "I-I-I don't know for sure but I heard some higher level guys say he was in New York," the henchman said. Great. NYC. "Thanks for your time," John said before slamming his elbow into the man's head and walking off, already dialing Harrison to get a plane set to NYC.

Lex was in his lab. He began testing his new armor. He finished making the kryptonite power arc reactor. It was adamantium-reinforced steel. He tests the flight systems. Lex smiled as they worked perfectly. Lex saw he began typing and smiled seeing the owling on the hidden cameras he has throughout the city. Thomas enterprises. The Biggest company to rival his own. Lex called his secretary Mercy Potts. "Mercy get me a meeting with Thomas Wayne."

Manchester walked down the streets. His long red hair in a ponytail. He looked and saw the battle between Spiderbolt and Dark Goblin. He watched them fight. He thought *why not kill the bastard? He causes thousand of deaths and he goes to jail but gets out soon.* Manchester smirked having a idea. He used his telepathy to send a thought into Spiderbolt's mind *Why not kill him? You have the right arrows. The bastard killed many people but still gets away...you an end it*

Peter Queen/Spiderbolt

'Why not kill Dark Goblin? You have the right arrows... He killed so many innocent people, but gets away with it... You can end it.'
That thought rung through Spiderbolt's head over and over again as he swung through Star City. He had killed on the island, many times, over the four years he spent on it, but upon arriving back home, in Star City, he had vowed to never kill again. He couldn't become the monster he was on the island. Not again.

Spiderbolt was on the way to Queen Mansion, to get a change of clothes. From there, Peter Queen would head out to Star City Airport, where he'd catch a flight to New York City- the place where Dark Goblin had stopped- and upon arriving he'd open a new branch of Queen Consolidated. The flight was in an hour. And Peter Queen was already running late.

Owlman/Thomas Wayne
Thomas was sitting with his owlsuit on when his Secretary came in and said "Lex Stark wishes to meet with you." Thomas thought to himself the man has a suit which makes him rather strong and has the brains to match. However he isn't a real son of the stark he was merely adopted. To him it didn't matter he then spoke up and said "Tell him if he wishes to talk he should come over now." He then thought long and hard how he could trick Lex into helping him rid the world of Impurities.

John replaced his suit with a red and blue flannel, and black skinny jeans, a typical clothing choice for any teenager in Gotham. "Sir, may I ask why you need the jet to fly you to New York City?" Harrison inquired, putting the suit of the Winged Shadow away. "Because the Circusmaster is there Harrison. And you can't stop me from going. Is Harvey here?" John asked, quickly changing the topic. "Yes he just arrived. Be careful Master Wayne," Harrison said, a caring look in his eye as he handed the teenager a bag filled with all the things he'd need as the Winged Shadow. "Thank you Harrison," John said as he took the elevator from his HQ to Wayne Manor where he went out back to the runway that his father had installed right before his death. There, a scarlet plane rested and John ran towards it, the stairs lowering as he moved forward. "The company won't like this," Harvey the pilot said as John took a seat. "Screw the company," John said as he fastened his seat belt and began to think about what he'd do once he got to New York.

Mercy said "Lex your meeting is set. His assistant said come soon though..." He nods at her. Lex put on his suit. Thomas had his suit, and Lex had his. The Visor came down and sent a message saying he would be at Thomas Enterprises soon. He knew Thomas was clever. Lex began making a plan encase he back-stabbed him. Lex soon arrived at Thomas Enterprises. He looked around and the Visor came up.

Hank McCoy
Hank found his way to the park and walked along the pathways, giving as much space to other people as he could. "Look mommy, it's a monster!" A little girl cried as she passed Hank with her mother. Hank adjusted his hood to hide his face more and put his hands in his pockets, shying away from the little girl and her mother.

"Honey," the child's mother said, "you shouldn't call them monsters, its rude, they're mutants okay?"

Hank grumbled and turned off the path, heading into the forest to find a relatively secluded spot to wash up. When he found one he shrugged off his hoodie and knelt down by the water, washing his arms and hands in the pond, trying his best to get everything out of his fur because if he didn't he would smell for weeks.

Thomas was looking out the window of his top floor office. He saw everything from up there. He saw the corrupt mayor and his friends who helped put there, He saw his the MCU and Gordan. He could see the docks where all the drugs were trafficed in. A handy thing Thomas had picked up was Lex's cameras which monitored the city for when he really needed it. He heard Lex's suit from the hallway and turned his spiny chair around as soon as the door opened. Thomas opened his mouth and said "Hello there Lex Stark. What did you want to see me about? Did you need another loan, perhaps some more kryptonite or a energy reactor?" Thomas then stood up and began pouring himself a glass of water waiting for a reply.

John gripped the handles of the plane chair as the ground rushed to meet the jet's wheels. He never was one for landing. John grabbed his bags once the plane slowed to a halt and stepped down the stairs onto the black asphalt. He walked into the airport and past the security line and to the lobby, where Harrison had arranged a driver. He saw the man and walked up to him, flashing his student ID. "Ahhh Mr.Wayne," the driver said, following behind John. "Yes that's me," John said as he got into the black limo. "I assume Harrison has made the arrangements for my hotel," John said as he scrolled through his phone. "That he did. You'll be staying at the best hotel in New York City," the driver said as he sped towards their destination.

Solomon stood in the shadows of the abandoned subway station he used to come and go from the streets. He wondered what he should unleash today. Gas? No, it was too quiet. He wanted a spectacle today. Maybe a car bomb, but that was a bit impersonal in his opinion. It was too generic an act, it might fly too far under the radar.

And then he had a very interesting idea indeed. Maybe today would be the day to make his grand debut. It seemed as good as any other. He began to walk towards the chain link fence at the top of the long dead escalator, which he effortlessly climbed over. He could smell the people all around him. It was such a beautiful day that he thought he would go to the park.

He jumped up to the top of the building beside him in a single bound. He couldn't see the park from his vantage, but the obvious gap in buildings told him where the park was. He leaped from rooftop to rooftop until he arrived on the top of a building overlooking the park. He found that a large group of people were all crowding around an artist at work.

He pushed himself off and up, falling down straight on top of the artist, crushing him and knocking the open cans of paint at his feet over, creating a burst of color on the pavement. At first people were more stunned than anything else, but that changed when he reached out to the man nearest him, picked him up by the neck with one hand and squeezed so hard his head rolled off after a lot of gurgling and a crackling sound.

And the screaming began.

Hank McCoy
Hank heard the screaming coming from somewhere nearby and took off, leaving his jacket behind. His fur rippled in the wind as he ran at superhuman speed toward the commotion. When he arrived he saw Solomon holding the man and he growled, leaping toward Solomon and latching on with the claws of his hands digging into Solomon's shulders while his clawed feet kicked at Solomon's lower back. "Unhand him!" Hank shouted as he clawed at the monster he clung to.

Peter Queen/Spiderbolt

Peter Queen had arrived in New York City, and was on his way to the building that would soon be Queen Consolidated’s New York headquarters. He would be hosting an opening gala there that night, all to keep his ‘playboy’ image believable, and he was going to check that everything was in order. It was going to be a large function, with live music and entertainment, drinks and food, among other things. He hoped everything would go well... He wanted to respect his uncle's legacy, after all. Little did he know, a certain goblin was planning to crash his party…

Lex didnt need another loan. Lex always paid Wayne back. He said "Dont need a lon anymore Wayne...and I'm sure I have enough Kryptonite for now.." He sat down. "I know you have been hacking into my cameras Wayne....and I came here to warn you." Lex stood up. "We had a decent partner ship. You give me kryptonite and reactors, I give you weapons you need. However Thomas if you try and back-stab me...It will end our partnership and I will come after you." Lex glared at Wayne.

Manchester heard tons of screaming and voices. Some in his head. he cursed and went to the voices. Manchester saw Grundy. "Arent you one ugly bastard...why dont you stop hurting people before I have to waste you." Manchester knew this guy was tough and would be ready to attack. Manchester tried to read Solomn's mind to find anything about him. All he got was a old nursery rhyme. "What the bloody hell?"

John waved to the driver as he parked the limo and John walked in. He strode up to the counter and said, "John Wayne," with a smile on his face. The woman behind the counter smiled and handed him a key for one of the penthouse suites. John wished her a nice day and rode the elevator up to the top floor where he walked into his room. He set his bags down and started unpacking. Harrison really knew how to fit a lot of stuff into a tiny bag. John set his laptop down on a bedside table and his suit in the closet. He flipped open his laptop and got to work, cross examining any recent police reports for evidence of the Circusmaster.

Solomon gripped his attacker by the throat and flung him over his shoulder and into the ground hard enough for the pavement to crack as he landed. It was a curious creature covered in blue fur. Solomon had never seen anything like it before.

Solomon started to laugh, the high, cold laugh of the deranged, lowered into almost a growl by the mask he wore. He swung the person he was holding into a tree, making a loud crack and leaving a chunky red smear. This new creature would provide much more entertainment then any of these other people, who were now safely out of his reach.

“I suppose that tree hugging does have its disadvantages.”

He looked at the man with red hair who hadn't run like the others. Solomon tilted his head like a curious animal. He was courageous and confident. Solomon wondered how many pieces he could tear him into.

"You may try,"
