If you can justify your character killing himself, I can justify mine blowing up a mecha.

Yes. Justify. So THAT'S what the kids are calling "Shut up I'm not talking to you anymore" these days.

I'd be happy to attempt a big cinematic fight with Ysolda once I get my new high tier character submitted and approved. I love the cinematic stuff myself, though haven't really tried to focus on it in a fight as of yet.

Well, Ysolda is dead and I really don't know if/when I'll care enough about her again to go through the process of posting in the limbo-esque thread and revivng her in a new place. If it weren't for that, I would be more than happy to be your cinematic fight partner.
Derp. Meant to copy the above stuff and edit it into my previous post. Brain fart. Yay.

Are you unable to have a civilized discussion without resorting to petty attempts at belittling whoever you're disagreeing with? "Kids these days"? Putting words in my mouth? Sheeshush, dude. You do know the meaning of the word "justify", right? Because that's what I said. Not something else.

I know I'm not the oldest person in here, I'm 20 yo. But I always laugh when people throw around words like: "Kid"

It's almost like he can't detect blatant sarcasm.

It was sarcasm, man. I'm 26, not 62.

If you're gonna use sarcasm.

PUT IT IN ITALICS

Sarcasm is detected by the inflections in the voice, when you're not hearing a voice then you can usually never assume they're being sarcastic.

Dude... when you lay sarcasm on as thick as a 5lb Steak... italics and indicators of sarcasm REALLY shouldn't be needed.

Hokay. So since you're not interested in sorting the issue out, rather than flailing your arms about dramatically and act like a sore loser (Yes, that's what we call people who go all "I don't even care anymore, whatever, you just won because.. etc), I suppose we'll just close it at that. I don't really feel the need to go out of my way to resolve the issue with someone who can't handle things not going their way. At least not when you make it clear you're not going to stay on subject. This isn't the first time you're going to lose, get used to it.

We need to have characters get into arguments like this, though an argument with Evvie would be reduced to name calling.

You are just adorable, what with acting like I've never lost a fight when RPing.

I mean, I've only said I'm not the "in it to win it" type a few times now, but I suppose when you're being called out on bullshit, you tend to not see things like that. It's ok, Green. This isn't the first time you're going to get called on bullshit. Get used to it.

LeeRoy isn't above arguing with a child, in fact Maxwell and LeeRoy were in somewhat of an argument earlier. Although that resulted in LeeRoy's jaw being knocked off.

I did hear you say how you weren't in it to win it, but somehow that point was lost on me when you spent two pages ranting about being blown up. Nice attempt at a retort though, A for effort.

The RP: "What a Twist! An RP you'll never expect!"
The Premise: Everyone makes characters... powers/skills/etc... doesn't matter.
The Twist: The characters everyone makes... then all make characters themselves, and all sit down to play D&D!!!

Oh the inter-character arguments that would ensue.

Actually, good sir, I went on for two pages about how YOU blowing yourself up made no sense, but YSOLDA blowing herself up made perfect sense. Other players even backed that viewpoint and expressed a slight distaste for your course of actions.

Nice attempt at a clever bit of backsass, though. A for effort.

But it's not all "ARGHDEATHKILLRAPEMURDEREXPLOSIONS!" the first chance you get... so you wouldn't like it.

Best...idea...ever! I'd join, but I don't know about D&D so how about a generic roleplaying game we don't need to know complicated rules for.

Some characters can even rage quit after a huge rant.

That's what I said. Rant, two pages. To which I made a perfectly clear and valid response. Blowing the mecha up makes perfect sense, the character himself doesn't actually blow himself up. Then you started going off the subject, so.

It's nice that you think you think I handle my own character wrong because some other people found it distasteful though. As if it was they, not me, who created him.

Can we all just agree that this entire event results in the death of Ysolda and the destruction of the giant robot. Let's stop the pointless dick waving, because it stopped being funny half an hour ago.

This entire ordeal is silly yo.

So... what Roleplaying game, then? Far as I know, most of them have pretty complex rules that are needed to be known to play.

And of course some of them could ragequit. Then they go to _______'s (whatever character is hosting the game) fridge, get some Mountain Dew, drink a can or two while watching TV, and come back.

Fix'd and yes.
