Just woke up a little bit ago and decided to post some preliminary details. Not sure if they will stick, but we will see. His choice of weapon will be determined soon. I did find out that the original actor in the picture is from the popular Game of Thrones, though I've yet to see an episode of that series. Never knew until I went looking.

By the way, your image of Snow White wouldn't happen to be Amy Lee, would it? I award you with bonus points if it is so. The picture of the Queen is a guess, which I am assuming to be Courteney Cox? Could be wrong, but I tried. Either way, I really like both of your character selections. Nice job.

Your hunter looks very good! Haha I would have never known that he was in Game of Thrones. I'm never watched an episode of the show, or read the books really. I just never could find the time to sit down and watch it.

I agree about her singing talent. Been a long time fan of hers ever since I first heard "Bring me to Life" on the radio. Amy Lee was the introduction to a whole new genre for me at the time.

And yes, you are definitely correct in guessing the actor to be Kit Harington.

Though medieval fantasies are pretty common for me, setting wise, we could be different and attempt a modernization of the story. Do know, that if we travel down this route, it will be more of a learning process for me while I get acclimated to a change in scenery. Not that this is a bad thing at all. We can give it a chance and see what happens. Even so, I keep thinking of the series Once Upon a Time whenever I think of Snow White taking place in a modern setting.

Well I'm fine with either setting really, I mean I usually stick to medieval or modern, So really whichever you prefer, if you want the learning process I'd be happy to help you or anything you need. I'm a pretty nice helpful person after all :P Ah another person that knows Once have you seen any of it? I've watched the first season, and started the second. Anyway that wasn't really the way I was planing on going haha. I thought about using the same person that played the Queen at first but changed my mind.

For me, Evanescence led me to other such groups like Lacuna Coil, Within Temptation, Nightwish, Halestorm, and Delain. Found myself pimarily along the female vocalist path. There are far too many to list of course, due to the sheer number of them. Only album I've ever listened to in its entirety from Godsmack is Faceless. Of course, I did find myself listening to Linkin Park, System of a Down, Korn, Disturbed, and Static-X in between. Yes, I am kind of big on rock and metal, but I do have numerous other genres to keep my ears musically diverse.

Even though familiarity is always a reassuring thought, I think I could benefit from learning a few new things in taking a modern approach. That means I am counting on the nice helpful person you are to help me if I get myself stuck for some strange reason or another. But I think if we work through those moments, we got this covered.

I did originally watch Once Upon a Time on a weekly basis when the first season started, but fell behind after about seven episodes and never got a chance to catch up. I do have the first season on DVD, yet I haven't took to watching that either. One day I will, I just know it. That means there will be little influence of the actual series crossing over into this RP unless by coincidence. I do prefer your choice for Queen to that of the one in Once Upon a Time.

Ah see I don't know who any of those groups are, The only Godsmack I ever really listened to was the Godsmack Album Which I actually looked it up to see and that actually what it's called. Haha okay sounds like a plan ^^. Seeing now this has to do with Queens, Princesses, and Hunters it would likely be better to make up our own place for the city and lands around it. We don't really have to make up the whole world, just the parts we're using for that matter.

I actually started watching around the end of the second season. They have the first two on Netflix. That's how I'm watching it. Yeah I mean we can have a few crossovers maybe if you want, I mean you're my partner after all so its your story as much as mine. But it wasn't planed while writing the plot. Awe thank you.

Out of those, I've listened to all of them except for ICP at one time or another. Puddle of Mudd I've been able to see live in concert. I've never been able to get into much country music; the same goes for rap and hip hop. Pop music is good though.

Creating our own city seems like the best option. That way we aren't too restricted, and we can add important things along the way without issue. We could incorporate some crossovers from the series if we wish, but I would first need a refresher on what little I managed to watched. I will leave this as a possible option, yet not one readily available from the start as I just don't recall enough details to do so.

Very true; about our own. So we'll just make our own world. I would think that the important parts to think about right now would likely be the Kingdom and the woods? We'll figure it out whenever we get to it, I think that would be better. May I ask how far you got in the show? Just so I don't have to worry about spoiling anything for you.

Well, I didn't get as far on the series as I thought when it first aired, taking a look back at the early promo clips for each episode. Only the first three episodes and a portion of the fourth seem familiar in any way. As for spoilers, don't worry too much. They don't really bother me unless it is some epic finale. Besides, if it isn't mentioned that the idea came from the actual series I would never know until I discovered the resemblance. If there happens to be an element from the show that would benefit the RP greatly, I'd say go for it.

Oh okay, yeah so I know way more about what happens than you haha. Well if I use something from the show I know, I won;t tell you what. I hate spoilers just because my sister will look u the epic things in a show, it so annoying, I wanted to figure it out myself.

Anyway....lets see....what else should we work out before we start?

Been trying to think of something, yet there doesn't seem to be anything major that needs addressing; at least nothing that won't be covered as we go along. Did you have a specific starting point in mind, or is it just basically where the summary ends in the first post. That has me most curious, though you may already have thought about this prior to me asking.

Hmm I was thinking probably around the time that Snow leaves the castle for awhile and Alisa sends Isaiah to kill her. I don't want to start off where the plot ends, because this way we will have more time for character building and the like on both ends. Plus I'm like to play out Snow tricking him into thinking that she is the good guy and was the one who killed the king.

Sounds like the perfect place to start. The more character building the better.

I have to say, thinking about the RP is so much better than thinking about my upcoming tooth pulling. I get a consultation with the oral surgeon today, on my last day of vacation, who will detail everything I don't really want to hear. Then I get the suspense of finding out the date of my wisdom tooth extraction. Never had one pulled so I am a bit concerned about all of it. So yeah, now I need a distraction.

Agreed :) Since Alisa will need to call for Isaiah it's probably better to have me start? Unless you were wanting to. I'm fine with either.

Oh lovely! That sounds like an awful way to send your last day of vacation. Just the idea of it makes cringe. We really need to start this roleplay to get your mind on it.

My vacations never do amount to much, besides taking some extended time to rest. Got back from my consultation and after seeing the oral surgeon for the first time, I am no less intimidated; even if the appointment is farther away than I thought, being towards the latter half of June.

Thought I would let you know that I'll start working on my intro during the weekend, which I hope is ok. Being Isaiah's first post, I want to spend a little extra time to find out the right approach.

I've been thinking quite a bit and I am still trying to figure out this whole modernization thing and what specifically we are aiming for. That is my main problem surrounding my intro, in regards to fitting Isaiah into the story properly. Maybe if we detailed a little bit on our current land near the castle, that may be beneficial. I just feel stuck without further clarification.
