I can imagine that all the characters are gonna be strategic ones, and no ones gonna make a tank that charges recklessly into battle

Although a tank could be helpful, whoever has that character would be the fastest to die, I would think.

Though I don't think your character would be the one to charge the front whenever we encounter an enemy

True, but we will be in the front, being the shield thus doesn't need to charge.

Does the rune of finding just hit anywhere on the target it happens to reach first or can he have it find a weak point if he thinks about it?The rune of soul still falls due to gravity, right? Straight path could be a tad confusing, because arrows follow a curved path but do travel "straight".

The finding rune will hit whatever part of the body is closest. It can't really be 'aimed'
The phased arrow is still effected by gravity, so would have a limited range.

I like warriors actually, but it generally not my style of late, though I probably should have looked over the other characters first, oh well.

Sounds good. All characters accepted. I wonder how many more people we should wait for until we start.

(it's rushed, but I can edit anything you want later.)

Name- Kenzo "Iron Tail" Cley
Age- 26
Gender- Male
Race- Rakin (Anthropomorphic Life forms that lived in the underground. They are the result of evolution across the centuries. They are a calm race, only fighting out of defence, and hiding whenever possible. Their warriors are agile, but they are also fragile.)
Personality- Although serious most of the time, he tends to rely on his speed, evasiveness, and quick thinking to save himself.
Appearance-

Strengths- Quick, agile, has strong legs, decent strength.
Weaknesses- lack of good physical and magical defense, weapons are almost entirely ineffective against heavily armored enemies.

Powers- Warmth's Aid (applies extremely basic healing magic to disinfect and heal wounds. The larger the wound, the less helpful the magic will be.)
Equipment-
-ARMOR: (A light armor that allows one to easily hide within shadows. The mask is the strongest piece, but can only block dull weapons. Even then, the force of the blow would still be felt by the wearer.)
-WEAPONS: Two (Sharp gauntlets that can pierce stone to a certain degree. They protect a Rakin's real claws) and three (Blades given to Rakin Warriors. They are durable enough to be used as meelee weapons, and light enough to be used as throwing knives. Though they are not the most durable weapon, they are useful in exploiting an enemy's exposed flesh)
History- Kenzo was a child who took his life seriously. Although he, as well as other Rakin Children, was adventurous, he knew danger well and avoided it. When he became an adult, he trained to become a warrior and succeeded. He was given armor and weapons, and was to guard against any who trespassed into his village in the caves. Some would say, his life was normal and even mundane, and they are correct. It was mundane. Until a certain event happened.

A human kingdom, with a corrupted king and queen, sought to clear the caves nearby of any creature they considered "filth." They sent their army to Kenzo's village, and laid siege upon its inhabitants. The Rakin were quick, and used stealth wisely, but when faced against a multitude of enemies, then someone is bound to be found. Many were slaughtered, others fled deeper into the caves, where larger cities would protect them. The warriors stayed behind to keep the human army occupied.

Hours passed, and the battle was close to an end. The Rakin warriors were too few in number, and steadily decreasing. They had to make the decision to seal off the cave entrances near the human kingdom that attacked. They caused an internal rockslide with bombs placed with key parts of the entrances. The force of one explosion rendered Kenzo unconscious.

When Kenzo awoke, he found himself alone. His allies were dead, and the enemy had left. He was alone, and forced to traverse the outside world. Some would fear his Armor's appearance, some would even attack, but he would always run from those he found too mundane. He shouldered no hatred to the humans, but he maintained his distance, for fear that they would trap him like some sort of beast.

Eventually, he would find himself within a strange situation. Trapped within a cell he did not remember being in. Placed in a place that he could not recognize.

Kenzo is accepted.

I'll start working on my post, but people can still have time to join even after as long as it's before everyone posts their introduction, then my girl will free everyone. If anyone misses that deadline then they can appear in the next run through.

How about I create a more sturdy fighter to help us? The witch girl won't do much helping outside of plot related stuff.

I can make a brawny character to help you guys out. I just hope having 6 people doesn't slow the RP down too much.
Anyways, i'll post something within an hour.

Here he is, I decided to not go with the animal powers because he already has this other one.

Name-Rick Goings
Age-23
Gender-Male
Race- Human, but his great grandmother was dwarf.
Personality-Rick is a generally happy person, but not too bright. He always has his buddies back even, though it might not be the smartest, legal-est, or safest decision. He has a short temper. He is a very determined person, and it is hard to sway him from a decision he has made.
Appearance- A shorter man with brown hair and stubble from the beard he shaves of constantly. He has an ugly, red leather hat that you'll never see him without.
Strengths- Rick is slightly stronger than the average man, that is because of his dwarf heritage.
Weaknesses- He is slow in speed and mental ability.

Powers- His equipment has a charm that makes it come to his hands when he needs them. He can also cast this charm on other objects to do the same.
Equipment- A crossbow, is affected by charm, and arrows, which the charm has limited affects on. The arrows of the Ricks cross bow will come back to bow immediately when he is ready to shoot, but they can only do this once and have to be in a hundred foot radius.

History- Rick has always lived in a large city, but he dreams of living in a small farm community. He has no official job, but looks for work around the area. These jobs never involve fighting unless his friends ask of his help, and then he usually doesn't except payment for them. Besides the seeming lack of action in his life, Rick spends a lot of time training with his bow and on basic fighting skills, along with intense workouts.

Name- Garrok Ironfist
Age- 24
Gender- Male
Race- Orc

Personality- Garrok is surprisingly intelligent and relatively friendly for an orc. Unlike most of his brothers, he knows when to fight, when to retreat and when to work together. That being said, he still has an orcish temper about him, so you shouldn't piss him off.

Appearance- http://static.giantbomb.com/uploads/original/9/91062/1410539-thrall.jpg
(6'4, 380 lbs)

Strengths- Stronger than even the greatest human weightlifter, with a lot of endurance to go along with it.
Weaknesses- Due to his enormous size and mass, he's significantly lacking in the speed and agility department, especially when wearing his heavy armor. It also makes him a large target.

Powers-

Blessing of Mother Earth: Once per day, Garrok can call upon Mother Earth to turn his flesh to oak and his skin to stone (figuratively), to grant him greatly increased protection for 10 seconds, as if his body was actually made of such materials.

Wrath of Father Sky: Once per day, Garrok can call upon Father Sky to grant him the power of a hurricane, granting him a burst of strength and speed (+50% each) for 10 seconds.

Equipment-
* Heavy steel plate and mail armor, as shown in the image.
* Rock maul, as shown in the image. The handle is made of wood, wrapped in leather and studded with steel. The hammerhead is a solid sculpted piece of granite. It has no special properties, besides being absurdly heavy.
* Reinforced oaken shield, about 2 feet in diameter

History- Garrok was born to a small population of orcs scattered across the border between the (mostly hostile) human kingdoms to the west and the untamed wilderness to the east. Due to these perilous circumstances, the members of his tribe grew large and strong, because the weak couldn't survive.

Garrok however was blessed with not only the brute strength of his people, but with increased intellect and an interest in the human ways of warfare. Instead of training to become a vicious barbarian like his brothers, he sought out the help of traveling human knights (the few that didn't attack him) and bit by bit, he developed into the first orcish knight that his clan had ever witnessed. They shunned him for these practices at first, but soon even they realized that his alternate fighting style as well as his increased insight were a valuable asset and he was made into a commander of sorts.

From that point on, he has been striving to unite the orcish clans that litter the border under one banner and to maintain the fragile pseudo-peace between them and the many human lords that see them as a pest. At least he was, until a botched battle that might have otherwise lost him his life, instead left him unconscious to later wake up in an unfamiliar dungeon cell.

Also arrows would never work on a crossbow, that's why they use bolts.

Or one person just uses the rest as meat shields to survive at the end, only to get invaded and axed off.

The IC has been started!

Let's see if we can get past the first enemy serving as a miniboss. Granted he'd be killed quickly if we all swarmed him with weapons, but we don't have any. Everyone dying to the first enemy would be even funnier then if we won on the first try.
