Ah, I hadn't noticed it'd been over a week since Kad's last GM post. Hopefully I'll have a post up tomorrow.

Tempest, about the clinic, is there any spilled fresh blood? If there is, from whom and can Laenaia detect if they're diseased or not?

From where you are, you can see no spilled blood. However, there is a sickly scent wafting from the room where the patients were being held from which you can likely assume they are greatly ill, either from disease or sickness.

went with sickness as a greater catch all for possible infections, flu, fever, etc. Short term symptoms while disease is more long-term.

So,Laenaia smell whatever disease the patients are inflicted with, either it was because of the disease itself or there're disease carrying blood outside of their body. And no indication of what's happening behind the door leading to the doctor.

Also, just remembered, there's nothing that Shria or Bastian can tell Laenaia about the doctor?

Uhm, I'll put it as a numbered list because I'm lost too:
1. Laenaia senses that the patients are diseased
2. She doesn't know whether she sensed the disease in their bodies or the disease carried in their blood that had been coughed/vomited/something.(Chances are, she assumed the former.
Wait, is the doctor in the same room as those diseased patients or in another room? I'm under assumption that he's in a 3rd room.
Ask them? : P

Did, in the last part of my post before yours. Laenaia asked if there's anything she should know about the doctor or if there's anything they want to warn her about.

1&2) Have you ever been in a hospital and just, between the sour smell in the air and the general vibe, you can tell some people are seriously sick? That's kind of what she's getting. If its from blood or anything, she can't particularly smell it over illness. Basically, she passed a general senses check with a slight bonus from predatory stuff.

3) The doctor is in a 3rd room. There's a curtain hung from the room you are standing in that leads into the room with the hospital beds. There are two solid wood doors directly across from the entrance to the room you are in. One is clearly marked as some sort of supply room and has a padlock set higher up on the door at a latch. The other is unmarked.

About the doctor) Crap, missed that in my skim over what was going on.

Okay, uhm... Well, Shria and Bastian don't know much aside from reputation. He is a skilled healer by physical practices, not magic. He costs less than your typical magical healer would, and while it may take longer and have some lasting effects (cuz its not magic), he has a remarkable survival rate and is skilled with creating poultices to counteract disease. For the most part, he's rather far removed from lizardman quarters and those in the military/navy are more times than not seen to by healers/doctors also in service, so they really would have no reason to see this man themselves. However, they can tell you that Rexel near exclusively consults the doctor in determining the cause of death with many murders or mysterious deaths in the port city.

Ahhhh, got it. No misunderstanding on that part.

So, the curtain is the one that leads to the patients, a locked supply room and an unmarked door that leads to the doctor. Okay.

Tempest, does Leanaia know what's the problem between the gnomes and the Tulerians?

Sickness affecting me. Planning on posting up Amazonia Imperiia post tomorrow, then First Blow the day after, then Royal Blood the day after, and finally, The Hunt for Diana after that.

Then, I'm going to move forward on an inactives policy that should help. Anyone who hasn't posted by this round will be put up as inactive. Inactives will be controllable by anyone, ergo if you have inactives in your party, you can control them. Try to keep in mind what others may have already done with them before using them though, you can jam up the control and cause the inactive character to become confused instead.

It is not an issue between gnomes and Tulerians, to clarify. It is specific to the lizardman tribes. However, I am afraid Laenaia knows nothing about what may be the source of this tension. She could always ask. v.v
