Synopsis Since the Dragonborn defeated Alduin, things have been quiet. However, now there is talk of disappearances, strange shadows and sounds at night. Dozens of people have disappeared after only a few short months. Some whisper that the threat of the dragons has simply been replaced by that of a more nightmarish creature. They aren't wrong. Two intrepid souls will embark on a journey across Skyrim to uncover the mystery and discover the true face of the beast that haunts the night.

Uh.... okay. What am I supposed to do with your IC post? I'm truly lost. I get that you're on the road outside of Morthal but where am I supposed to come in to it? You just started a fight with a vampire after getting bounced from the Inn. Am I supposed to jump in? I would have liked to discuss how we were going to play this out before you jumped right in.

Sorry. I was a bit...overeager. If you want I could remove it and we can talk before we start.

No need to apologize. Anyway there are some basic things that we should cover before we start. Like the relationship between our two characters. Are they strangers or have they met before? How are we going to start out the story? How are our characters going to meet or are they travelling together? Are we just going to stumble on to an evil vampire plot to do evil stuff or are we going to be given a mission by a Jarl to investigate some disappearances that later lead us to vampires? I think these are just a few basic things we should work out before we really get into it. Otherwise, I won't really know where you're trying to go with the story.

Well, how about the Jarl's put out a reward for whoever solves the vampire problem? We could both be trying to earn that bounty and end up working together. We won't know each other beforehand. What do you think?

Just killing vamps for money? That seems a bit mundane. From what I got from the synopsis I assumed you had at least a general plot in mind that had more mystery to it. I'm fine with meeting each other along the way but if we're just bounty hunting that's not much of a story. The synopsis also says people have only been disappearing which suggests that no one knows what's really going on.

Our main bad guys are vampires in this one so why are they kidnapping people instead of just feeding from them like usual? I think that should be an important plot element. Morthal is also a fairly small town so people would notice if others started disappearing but Falion the court wizard would be the prime suspect since he's generally under suspicion by the townsfolk. It seems like a waste of a good title for us to just start beating up vampires with no real substance to the story.

Oh no, the bounty is just to get started. Then we uncover the real plot, discovering that there are vampires in the courts of each of the holds. They stand to gain a lot of power all at once.
