Current It's been a rough few days and i know some people don't understand how hard it is to lose a dog. A dog isn't just a dog to my family. My parents loved Stella more than they love me. Posting later...

If this picks back up (hopefully) I'll be back in a day or two. Dealing with some personal stuff.
Jamie nodded at David's answer. "Just a man? Do you have a name?" She noticed Dmitri hurry past her, and frowned, glad that the cameraman was focused on David. Once he had answered she moved on to Julia. She smiled and introduced herself again, and sized her up. "Jamie, Huong, Channel 3 News. Can you tell me what happened here? These men were armed. How were they subdued so quickly?" The cameraman shifted to Julia, and Jamie took the moment to look around the coffeeshop. It was clearing out now, and there were less people around to be interviewed.
Yeah. I'm sure someone will post soon. *crosses fingers*
Uh...anybody going to post?
Barclay straightened, the pain from having his breath knocked out of him having finally subsided. He looked around, noticing camera phones, and hid his face. The last thing he needed was publicity. He headed for the door and turned right, jogging down the block.

Damn it! I shouldn't have gotten involved. I was barely even helpful... He thought to himself as he jumped onto the back of a bus. It had been a stupid move on his part, and now there were people who actually could do things. That one guy was taking the men apart with ease. He'd have handled them easily if they had been unarmed. And that fast girl. She must know her way around a gun. Either that or she had some kind of ability like him. He hopped off the bus and walked over to a construction yard, unseen. He cut through to the subway line on the other side and sat on a bench to think.

No, there's nothing too special about me. He told himself. And what about the last guy? In a trench coat. He sure looked the part, but Barclay hadn't seen what he could do. But he was sure he would. With that many cameras the media would have a heyday.

Meanwhile, back at the coffeeshop...

A news van that had been stuck in some slow traffic took advantage of the chaos that had unfolded, a dark-haired woman with thin hazel eyes got out, wearing a black skirt and a jacket in a light shade of purple got out, her cameraman following her with a camera already rolling.

"This is Jamie Huong of Channel 3 News, standing outside of a local coffeeshop here on 58th in downtown Alden. It appears that several masked men entered the store, brandishing guns and demanding money. Unbeknownst to them, the shop was being enjoyed by several people who it seems are now being hailed as heroes."

As she spoke, she walked up to the coffeeshop, tapping David on his shoulder. "Hi, Jamie Huong, Channel 3 News. Can you tell me who you are and what happened here?" She asked, putting the microphone up to him. The cameraman focused on David.
@KatherinWinter Permission to add in a character? A news reporter, no powers, but she'd be following and reporting on the group as things in the city heated up. I've got a post typed up already.

Also, what's the city called? That would be awesome if we could clarify.
Barclay froze at the sight of the masked men. They rushed inside the shop he had just been lucky enough to have left. He peeked through the glass doors and watched, mind racing as he thought of what to do. He had no idea of the extent of his abilities, and they certainly didn't seem too useful in a close quarters fight against armed gunmen. Amazingly enough, someone else decided to intervene, throwing some liquid in one of the men's faces. It was a bold move, and Barclay felt bad for the man's fate as a shot rang out. He couldn't look. The poor guy was probably dead.

But he had to look, because he didn't hear any screams from any of the other patrons indicating there was a dead body on the floor. As soon as he did, however, the glass doors were smashed by a body flying out, causing Barclay to dock back in surprise. He looked down at the guy, amazed. He stood and leaned around the corner of the now shattered door, watching as the men pointed their barrels at the patron who'd attacked him. None of them were paying attention to Barclay, and that was a good thing. He stepped lightly through the door, careful to not crunch the broken glass and sneaked up behind one of them, lacing his fingers before him and raising his hands over his head. He brought his hands down like a hammer on the back of the goon's head, crumpling him. Two of the four remaining masked men looked directly at him, guns shifting to cover him. He put his hands up and one of them kicked him in the stomach, doubling him over. That had winded him.
Yeah, @TheHunter It's cool man. I'll be posting soon. I've just got to type up another reply to a 1x1 I'm doing.
