Aleksu remained silent when Uorin spoke up once again, "You're right." He answered the brown haired girl. Any inhabitant of these parts could easily tell he and Aleksu were from a distant culture. Their clothing style would be considered bizarre to most of the inhabitants here, and their skin tanned darker. The inked markings tattooed upon Uorin's body weren't exactly common around Sorenaye either. "We're from a place not so far away as you may think." He replied cleverly. He wasn't so sure telling a teenaged Sorenayen, villager girl where they hail from would be such a wise idea. Word could spread before he and Aleksu could reach the inside of the kingdom and Uorin assumed the unfortunate adults, who live on the outside of the kingdom, wouldn't exactly like to hear about the news of outsiders - especially ones with tamed draconides which would remind them of the selfish, royal families that lived safely inside the kingdom called Sorenaye. Fortunately, Uorin's good friend who would watch the wyverns lived near an isolated part of the outskirts. Uorin and Aleksu weren't expecting to run into any villagers in the clearing of this forest, but better to meet a couple of harmless younglings than a group of unwelcoming adults. Besides, Uorin wasn't afraid that the villagers would discover them, he was just merely cautious. He even wanted to greet the kids and show them that not all outsiders should be considered threatening. Uorin turned his attention to the other kid who seemed like he or she was hiding near the shrubs at first. He couldn't tell what the things gender was and his brow's furrowed slightly in a bit of confusion. The kid seemed too pretty to be a boy, yet appeared too unkempt and lacked breasts (as far as he could tell) to be a girl. He tilted his head a little with a curious expression, and replied, "The saddles are for riding of course." Uorin had resisted the perfect opening for sarcasm.

“You ride them?!” Maya exclaimed. “Then again, I guess I shouldn’t be surprised. How else would you have traveled here? You know, with all the wild raptors and titans out there.” Despite her words, she couldn’t shake the giddy grin from her face. “Say, why did you come to Sorenaye, anyway? I mean, not that I’m complaining, of course! It’s amazing to have you here! In fact, I should take you to meet the rest of the village!” she practically bounced with excitement. “I hope your wyverns don’t scare people off, though. Hopefully people will believe me this time when I say they’re tame!”

"Easy little ataela." Uorin said and half smiled. He was a little overwhelmed by all the girl's questions, but he did a swell job at not showing it. "I wish to answer all of your questions, but my friend and I are running short on time." Uorin walked over to Krixyth and retrieved a sack that was tied to the wyvern's saddle. "It would be best if you kept us meeting one another a secret. If you do, I will give you one of these to seal the deal." Skreyvur whipped his wings as if to take flight again and snorted, the green wyvern was starting to get impatient for standing in one place for too long. Uorin ignored Skreyvur and waited for the girl's response as he lifted the sack to indicate that the gift was inside. Aleksu was growing a bit impatient as well, but he was curious to know what Uorin intended to hand over as a gift. He only knew of one thing that it could be, but he would be surprised if Uorin just gave one of them away so easily.

"A fine Draconide. I wouldn't have the patience to deal with one, or the proper living conditions for that matter." Francis remarked. "I imagine he'll be taking up the castle by next winter!" He said jokingly with a chuckle. "Francis, i'm afraid we're behind schedule." William said silently. "Ah yes, my dear prince, it seems me and my boy here are running late, we're to meet the Outsiders in less than 10 minutes." Francis placed his hand on Dominiques shoulder and extended his arm with a smile once more for a handshake. "It was a pleasure to meet you"

"The saddles are for riding of course."

It was said matter of factly, as if it should be obvious. Auri did not agree with this sentiment, who in their right mind would want to ride a flying, toothy, death bringing wyvern? For them it was one of the most ludicrous concepts they had ever heard. Auri was about to say as much but the girl who loved draconides was babbling again, and in a way that was soothing, if she didnt fear these people with their crazy mounts then perhaps Auri shouldn't fear them either... yeah right. The girl talked to a tower and was basically unflinching talking to Auri themselves. Not the most reliable radar for trouble then.

This mention of a gift in trade for keeping their presence quiet however... that was certainly worth sticking around for. Auri was confident they would be able to get it from the girl once the men had left, which seemed imminent. A small smile crept onto Auri's features as they watched the exchange, eager to see this treasure. They spoke up for the second time as a thought struck them "Hey! Does Auri get something? Something shiny? This one will keep the secret!" they said it eyes gleaming, like a bird who spotted a shard of glass, voice eager and excited.

Maya felt a bit disappointed at the notion of keeping it all a secret. This sort of thing didn't happen every day; how could she not tell the rest of the village?! She did grow a bit curious, however, as to what Uorin's little "gift" was. Though she couldn’t even ask, however, before Auri leapt into the conversation. “H-hey! I thought you didn’t want to get involved!” she yelled at the strange man. Ordinarily she wasn’t one to get into fights, but being denied her gift before even knowing what it was did rub her the wrong way. “Let’s at least see what it is first…”
“You, too.” Dominique nodded, shaking Francis’ hand once again. “See you again sometime.” The prince called as they parted ways, having a feeling their paths would cross again before long.

"Sure, you can have this." Uorin said flashing a sliver of silver to the genderless kid. "That's if you can keep us meeting to yourself." He walked over to the teen girl and knelt down to gently place the sack onto the dewy grass in front of her. He pulled loose the rope that tied the sack shut and the fabric slipped down to reveal four colored eggs that were a little more than a foot long each. From left to right there was a beige egg, a dark blue egg, a speckled green egg, and a dark purple egg. "Terra eggs- Wyvern eggs..." He corrected himself, because Sorenayens had a different names for the draconides. "...of this kind, are very rare here in Sorenaye. There are very few if any wyverns of this species that fly around these parts." Uorin said looking each egg over. "I'll let you have one under a few conditions."

Aleksu's eyes widened and he could not believe what he was hearing. Uorin had brought those eggs along to trade or to be given as gifts to the royals of Sorenaye. The blood orange snake slithering up his master's arm stopped, and Aleksu could tell something or someone was approaching. "Uorin." Aleksu finally spoke, as if to tell him to finish up their encounter with the younglings. He didn't mean to seem rude, but he knew that they shouldn't stay there much longer.

Maya’s eyes widened, her hands covering her mouth in shock as she could barely even gasp. Sure, she’d seen Draconide eggs in the wild before, and she even tried to take home an abandoned hatchling once, but she’d never tried to take any eggs home with her. Not only was she too smart (not to mention too nice) to take one from a potentially-guarded nest, but the difficulty level of trying to take care of one by herself without getting caught just always made it too impractical. So the notion of someone offering them to her…

The excitement of the morning clouded her rational mind. From her dream world where humans and Draconides live together in harmony came two wyvern-riding messengers asking her to bring that world to life, and in such a wild state of mind, she was ready to say or do just about anything. “Wh-what conditions?” she stuttered, voice full of awe.

Auri was about to respond venomously to the crazy girl, but the man's quick flick of silver cut them short and instead they went for a rude gesture and a tongue poked in her direction. Auri jumped to catch the coin in their excitement, fully coming out of the woods to stand in plain view, grinning ear to ear as they inspected the free prize, pawing over its ridges and bumps and the all important gleam. They glanced over to the eggs and disregarded them, they had nice patterns but they were much too big to carry easily under their cloak and not anywhere as shiny as the coin "Hmmm yes good. Your secrets are safe with this one, no one hears no things from Auri, but only if Auri gets two more of these!" they said it with a greedy chuckle, indifferent to the fact that they had just barged into the man and Maya's discussion about conditions, and clearly pleased to be dealing with an idiot who hands over payment before the bargain is sealed. They quickly tucked the treasure away in one of the many pockets lining the inside of the ragged poncho just in case the man reconsidered. If he didnt hand over more coin there was no deal, and since he'd been so nice and already given Auri a free trinket there was nothing to lose by asking for more. Though just in case he wasnt as pleased with Auri's masterful bargaining skills as they were, they readied themselves to flee back into the woods, confident that they could outrun anyone once in there.

"If you decide to sell the egg then ask for no less than 500 gold pieces. It would be enough to move you and your family to a decent villa near the foregrounds of the castle.-" Uorin said and he let the teen girl think it over, because it would be way safer if her and her family didn't live so far off in a village that was far more at risk to wild draconide attacks. The more prosperous outsiders lived in the foregrounds, the ones that didn't exactly have royal ancestry. Uorin didn't think the girl would sell it by that way she looked at the eggs in adoration and he continued, "And if you decide to keep it, then you must keep the hatchling hidden and promise to set him or her free after you've raised it to it's teen years." He said and waited for her reaction before talking again, "See, these Wyverns are prone to sadness if they are kept from their own kind or if they never get to experience a bond with another of it's own species. BUT the main reason is, because they are far harder to control once they reach their juvenile age and even more so full grown. Don't worry about obedience at first, because these type of Wyvern's are more easily domesticated when raised immediately after hatching and they are quite loyal. Well most of them are-" He said with a smile at his dark green Wyvern, Skreyvur, whom snorted and took to the air again out of impatience. "As for riding them, that takes far more experience and you'd have to take your Wyvern to a professional as myself." He finished and lastly said, "Do you agree to these terms?" He asked the girl with an assuring smile. He would hope she would agree or else he would have no choice, but to give her something else in exchange for her trust. The only way he'd be fine with her keeping the Terra forever is if she took him to train in Echlyn, because only then would it be able to behave in society properly. He ignored the other kids words and just kept a smile on his face as if he knew something that the genderless creature didn't know. Uorin heard Aleksu and said to the girl, "Give me your answer, because my friend and I must go now."

Maya listened intently to Uorin's terms. She had no intention of selling the thing, so the first half of that was hardly a concern to her. She listened more closely to the second half, of course planning on hatching and raising it. Keeping the wyvern hidden would be a challenge but one she was willing to face - after all, she'd already done something similar as a child and, while she did get caught, she at least had some experience, and she was a lot older and smarter as a teen. She was sure she could figure something out. Letting go of it would surely be tough, but of course there was no way she could keep it hidden once it grew to the size of the great Draconides standing in front of her. She would have to release it someday even if it wasn't part of Uorin's terms, so it wouldn't be hard to agree. "O-of course." she nodded.

Then she realized the two of them were already about to leave. "W-wait, where are you going?" she asked out of curiosity. Sure, she knew they had places to be, but it only just dawned on her that she never asked where those places were.
