Alex just nodded in reply to the description of a fire giant. At the statement of hiw she believes their could be a better name; "... I was thinking Helldwellers..." When she shook his hand her fingers luckily went in between the hooks on his palm . He retracted them before her actual hand couldnget grazed A painful handshake would have been amusing and depict something similar to an electric hand buzzer that causes real injury. Probably best that it didn't happen though. Childishly sadistic thoughts aside touching another being felt somewhat strange. Almost like when Alex tried to talk to her after so many days silent. He looked at his own hand for a moment after. He then heard what would probably be some useful words.

Strangely
Not many things came to mind.
Alex was still a lost ignorant nomad in a forest. Not knowing of anything. He could have thought of an infinite amount of things to do with such an offer of being able to name what he wanted and possibly receive it. Thing is he didn't even know where he was.

I'd like a double cheeseburger." Came to mind. No. He did not realize it but he was starving. Living off of poorly created food generated by emotion did not have much to provide him with. It is then he noticed that more deer blood had leaked onto his coat. He ignored it. He was starving. Asking for a share of the deer poisoned his mind. He was vegetarian. He just answered; "... I ask for you to accompany and inform me of this place... In less sophisticated terms where the hell am I?" Reasonable enough.

Elsa nodded agreeing to his coming along with her. "Well right now we are what the village calls, The Dark Forest. I suppose they have to name it something ominous as they do not understand it. I was pretty much raised in this forest, having nothing but the wild and the animals as companions. That is a good name for them too." She said and looked at him. "There must be blood on your coat from carrying that carcass around. Let me clean it. I know the best way to get blood off of clothes." She said having learned that at around maybe seven.

Amber retraced her steps, and made her way back to the others. As she approached the others she heard the tail end of their conversation. 'Where the hell am I?' What kind of man would stray further than he knew? And how would he get there? Maybe he was brought here by someone and was separated. Right now only questions came to mind with no answer.

"There's a small town not far from here, that's Manshire. To the west is where I am from, the city Krave." Amber spoke with confidence, "Where do you hail, stranger?"

Amber locked eyes on the deer he still held firm, meat was not the most abundant thing in her city, she'd die for a bite. She broke contact with the body and refocused on the man, her eyes jumped between the two standing in front of her. The sun was mid day now high in the sky, they'd best leave the forest before more creatures arrived if they wished to talk.

"Actually, we should continue this discussion in Manshire, lest more creatures return. That wouldn't be much fun." Her mind trailed off again, "And you'd be able to set down that lovely kill."

...Dark forest? ... Suits it. Alex continued to listen. ... On her own? Here? Alex felt somewhat stupid having felt as if he was weak. Spending a few days in here made him miserable. Incapable of knowing what is edible or not. After hearing the talk of washing his coat he strangely tensed up. His clothes were the one thing from the past world that was left on him. The idea of taking it off for whatever reason felt odd. Even if he would get it back later it didn't change the feeling. He would have to settle in this world and probably accept he would probably never escape but the time was not now.... Plus he used the shirt underneath one day to tie himself to a tree to sleep and fell out anyway. He left it. Trying to seem as polite as possible he tried to chose his words carefully.

"... I'm more grateful then you could imagine for the offer but No thanks. I'll keep it... As a memento of a sort."
He hoped somewhat she would insist. Animal blood is... Well animal blood. But he also felt if he had it washed so soon he would be accepting the fact he wouldn't be able to go back too soon.

Alex saw amber return. Asking where he came from. "... New England... Maine more specifically..." He stated his birthplace but not where he actually was last in his universe. Mainly because he did not remember himself. He said it in a strange way. He somewhat assumed he wasn't anywhere on his planet any more.

"... I'll travel where Elsa travels...." He says to the idea of bringing the deer to Manshire. He sorta had to be dependent on someone else in any place so foreign to him. He was glad though some person would let him follow them. Somewhat more happy finding this person is Elsa.

"Don't be silly. Animal blood is horrible on the clothes. If it dries on there it will become stiff and unable to be worn again. Welcome back. It looks like you got lost after getting to the river that way." Elsa said pointing in the direction she knew the closest river was and made a small circle with the hand guessing where Amber went. "Come on, you both are safe with me. As i told Alex, I lived in these forests my entire life alone. So I know these woods better than anyone else." She said as she motioned to the river again.

Silly? Perhaps. He still didn't want to be shirtless/coatless. He didn't care about nudity of any kind or level and was mature about it but he had Scars and marks he wishes to keep hidden. Oh well, to hell with it I suppose?

... What are you doing? A tiny voice that always warned him of the risk of doing anything, paranoid and insecure. ... She can be trusted... I think. Alex lost himself day dreaming for a few seconds imagining himself in a room. Filled with a small table and him having tea with another him discussing multiple things. Returning back to reality, Alex just nodded. "...Where are we going?" Alex asked. Almost sounding like a child taking a parents hand and walking to an unknown destination. Alex often thought of himself as a child in his mind. It was when he was happiest and most ignorant. Alex tendency of walking the many realities thy wait inside of his mind was rather annoying. Alex just releases the hooks in his hand to graze and scrape his hand. It was a tool, weapon, and friend that kept his mind from destroying itself.

"Well we're going southwest to the river to clean your coat." Elsa answered walking as the sun hit on her arms and face showing the many white scars she had on both surfaces. On her arms were more scratches like those acquired from creatures with sharp fangs and small claws. And that on her face was a faint cat-like scratch. She couldn't remember how she got it. She gathered some herbs from her pocket deciding she would use them for the soap. They would help get rid of the stain and the smell.

Alex just followed. When her scars became visible Alex found some kind of comfort in it. Strange. Pains from others people pasts comforts him.
Strange... Odd how the humans mind works. Or at least mine... Also odd the scars do not take away from her beauty... Alex again had to graze his hand with the blades in his gloves to return to what was actually happening and continued to follow.
He noted she picked up some herbs. Not that it would be useful. Ask him anything about biology but nature made him feel like an infant with his lack of knowledge.
Maybe he would learn a thing or two.

Elsa didn't feel the need to break the sudden quiet over them as she walked and sat on a fallen log that was on and over part of some of the deeper part of the river. "If you don't know how to swim I wouldn't come this far out." She suggested as she extended a hand that had calluses on them from the many years of handling the bow and arrow and small daggers. "Let me have your coat if you please." She said and saw that he was looking curiously at the herbs. "They won't hurt clothes. Do you not know this? Perhaps then I could teach you." She offered as the tiger went into the water to be washed.

Following as she went Amber paid no mind to any subtle insults about being lost, she knew where things were. Her ears perked up at where this man came from, she had never heard such a place, odd. Following to the river she stood by the tree line, happy to just talk from afar. Her clothes were obviously dirty and had the slime from the inferno's on her pants. She listened to Elsa's remark about if you couldn't swim not to come out that far. Amber had no intention to come remotely close.

"I'm fine here, as a blacksmith I'm quite accustom to being covered in grime." Amber stated shrugging a bit, "Some of you outdoorsy types are too clean if you ask me, the sun will shine right off those pretty cheeks, let your enemies see the reflection and swoop! off goes your head!" She joked light heartedly.

Ale just gave Ambers joke a kind of half smile. Alex followed and then walked on the log fairly easily. He was a strong swimmer. Well in the way that he could dig his claws into the ocean floor and pull his way as if climbing. It was faster the swimming when done by him and he could hold his breathe for extended amounts of time. Alex looked at her had for a second. He the. Proceeded to remove some kind of mask hiding his own memories from him.

"... I don't know anything about what's usable or not unless it comes from a super market...."
He says while removing what was his last possession of the the other world. The idea of her dropping it as a joke haunted his mind. But then again at probably just him being paranoid.

Underneath Alex wasn't as skeletal as he appeared with the coat with some muscle.
Bruises and and scratches covered Alex's back. Especially bruises. Just little scattered memories of a similarly dark past. Most were by large. One runs from his shoulder blade down to his lower back though. Just like the rest of his body he had pale skin. Oddly his back was covered in marks of beatings while the rest of his body was unscarred. He handed his coat to her.

Elsa tilted her head a bit as Amber made that joke. Then looked to Alex curiously. "Huh I never heard of something like that before. And I am not that clean. I just don't want to smell like cat at all times. It becomes an odd smell after a while. Which is why he's taking a bath." She motioned to the tiger who got out and proceeded to dry in the sun. She took the coat knowing that to drop it would be horrible so kept a good hold on it as she let the water flow over the coat and then proceeded to wash the cloth rubbing the herbs against the spot where the deer had been the stain getting out as she thought. As well as getting rid of that smell.
"Are we eating soon?" The tiger growls softly.
"Oh NOW you worry about eating. We will as soon as we can get the meat from the deer. I have to cook the meat for the three of us. You can have the raw stuff as you like it." She responded in a series of growls and snarls. She didn't even really turn around to respond to the tiger.

"... It urr...nothing." She wouldn't never need to use one. He watched as she washed multiple, thinking terrible things that could happen to it. Many of which did not make sense. Including it
Bursting into flames, exploding, and multiple other things children would laugh at with the idea being so irrelevant To reality or what would be expected. He was somewhat curious on how she could communicate with her tiger. Not wanting to bother her he just kept quiet. Well tried to.

"... Thanks for doing this...." He said this almost awkwardly. He did not like the idea of owing a debt to anyone. He looked at her tiger strangely while saying this. A cat that likes water? Oh well different universe possibly right?

As the two entered the water cleaning their clothes, and the tiger his fur, Amber couldn't help but feel antsy. Without at least her hands aflame she almost felt naked. She lit the tip of her index finger on fire just to calm her nerves. The flame danced in the wind like a candle. Not enough to attract more fiends but enough to ease her mind. She pulled a loaf of bread from the bottom reaches of her pant pockets and broke a piece off for herself. It filled her for the moment, but the bread alone was not enough. Amber moved closer to the water now, and cupped her hands together taking a sip from the river.

"I was supposed to clear the area near my home of monsters that raided the streets at night. It appears we've driven them off for now. I'll send a crow back to inform them to stop with the bonfires at night, that should stop the midnight raiding." She splashed the water into her face and continued, "My job here is done, but I find myself at a loss. It appears to me the world outside my city could use my skills more. I insist I join your efforts and help the weaker ones we cross."

"Do not think anything of it." Elsa said waving a hand as she got up and handed his clean coat back to him. "I suggest you hang it on something so that it can dry." She then looked at Amber and thought about it. "We do work well together. And as helping the weak is something I do anyway, it would make sense to do so with a team. What say you Alex?" She asked as she saw that he was looking at the tiger curiously. "Is there something wrong? I am not sure why you stare at my brother so." She said confused.

Alex took it as if he was being handed an infant. He wouldn't think of it as nothing. Alex just out the coat on anyways. Hypothermia is for suckers!!! Alex constantly felt the need to dig something into his hand be t his nails or the blades in his glove because of thoughts like that.
"... Things here aren't quite the same as where I come from...." He says. Feeling th coat on him once more he felt vulnerable. "...I did something similar last time I checked." Helping the weak was something he felt condemned to do. Back where he came from he did so. But not in the most popular of ways.
As he felt the water drip down his body from the coat he sorta made said event more then it was in his mind. His shadow had been gone far too log and t has now returned
"Where are we off to now?" Alex somewhat feared the obviousy very possible answer of the butcher.

"I was planning on getting some meat from the deer. The butcher in...Mantown was it? I am unsure of what the places are called. Oh, this place sounds a bit strange. But I suppose if you go out and travel you are bound to come across something weird some time or another." She said with a small shrug thinking nothing of it. "You could get sick wearing something wet. But I suppose you knew that." She said getting onto solid ground checking her arrow pack by running a hand against the backs. She was missing some as was normal for a battle so probably would see if there were any more at a store. Or make them herself, which she had done many times. Several of the arrows were made by herself. She growls softly making the tiger stand up and walk towards her immediately.

As expected. He had just helped someone in the task of consuming a pure innocent animal. Better then the body going to waste but worse then it being killed in the first place.
.... Sickening... Disgusting... Impure... Foul... The ignorant must be pitied. Not slaughtered when there are so many alternatives... These beings with the inability to reason or comprehend much of anything they have no military or sense of war.... Or a peace treaty... Just our mercy...
Alex could rant on forever about the reasons consuming animals was wrong and how impure or evil it was. Thing is, Elsa seemed to be capable enough to kill him if he tried anything. Plus it is best to please people when in a place you are unfamiliar with. But... ...Shut up. Alex tried stop lingering on it. He couldn't. He did not show much of what was happening in his mind on the outside except for his hands becoming fists for a few seconds. The anger quenched by him not wanting to cause an unnecessary conflict.

"...I'd just deal with it..." Alex says. Cold because of wearing his coat so soon but he did not show it. He just had some kind of fake smirk planted on his face. Not shivering, he never did, not because he was incapable but because he believed it showed lack of control. If he couldn't take some cold how could he handle bigger problems?
Alex followed on the fallen tree to the more stable platform.
He almost forgot he actually had his fedora on his head the whole time with everything going on in his mind.

"Manshire," Amber corrected Elsa, "They have a butcher and a general store, they'd have anything we'd need to last a few weeks in the wilderness." Amber felt her company had an odd air about them. Both of them. She never spent much time outside her city walls but the time she did spend out she'd never met folks like this. Her company was interesting, but strange. A man who dressed rather funny, and a girl with a tiger. What a trio they must look like.

"I can lead us to Manshire without further delay." Amber continued as she gathered herself, holding a finger to the wind to find the direction of the gust, a small flame still dancing on the tip showed her the way. Her feet started moving toward the town whether or not the others followed, she bored of this river, and had slight fear some water may splash upon her flames.
