I apologize, but GodFather kind of left me cold in the water for quite awhile with Samuel. I didn't get any pm's or anything when he dissapeared and I waited quite a long while before doing anything. I can just take the post away since no one has reacted to it. That is, as long as god father (talking to godfather now) as long as you can understand why I did what I did :/. I characters became pretty reliant on eachother and then you kinda dissappeared.

Right I am officially back, the story in my most recent post was planned to be covered over 5 posts so I'll be expanding on that in dream sequences or something similar :) Mathias went mental when he thought his family had died and he lost control of the powers he had just gained. He will have to train up to get back to where he was but now he knows his true potential :)

Zachary's smart and tending towards pacifism, and Kaa'is is cunning. Of course they would avoid an unnecessary conflict. Besides, too many encounters here seem to be solved by fighting. That's not a realistic way to do things.

You try living in a world where everyone is either on the verge of death or trying to maul you with superhuman powers. Trust issues is the least of your worries. When people are given such conditions to simply SURVIVE, violence, which is one of the many biological phenomena that humankind suppresses for the sake of society, becomes fundamental.

Of course, some people can hold their composure, like Zachary, but sometimes its not enough. What if the other party is not willing to listen to a single word? There are blood thirsty monsters out there in the disguise of a human, y'know.

but still, good post and point.

I understand that this is a violent place. Regardless, having every instance of interaction with a person be a fight would make for a rather plain story. There needs to be variety.

Perhaps he is a bit wide in the picture. He is wearing a rather heavy cloak, though, so we can say its loose-fitting in the picture.

Warning, this collab is reaaaally long. I apologize in advance for that, we'll try to keep 'em shorter in the future. In the old Sanctuary days, we used to have 3-4 people goin in on a post at once, and the collabs used to be enormous, but still amazing to read.
