I'd probably like to be Luna rather than Ginny. And if Luna ends up with Draco or Neville, it's fine with me. I suppose it just depends how dark we want the RP to be or if we want to divert a little from the plot. We could make it so that Ron and his family turn out to be antagonists, or something?

I don't want the plot to be too dark or anything. I actually had a plot in mind, but it would be a little more indepth then each of us playing 2 romantic pairs. So here is the idea.... don't worry if you don't like it.
Luna, Wands, Charms and Babies, Oh My
Luna Lovegood always means well. She has good friends that she was never able to have before, so when she noticed how they were taking Fred's death, she wanted to do something to make them heal and move on. She never knew Fred as well as the others did, obviously because she had only been friends with Harry and the gang since their 5th year. Even so she felt very sad that Fred was gone and wanted to take the pain away from everyone.
She meant well... Really, she did. She decided to use a memory charm on everyone, but she never learned to do the spell properly, so she had to read up on it, so when she did the spell, she was going by the teachings she got from a book. Luna was no Lockhart; she did not have the talent at all for memory charms, so when she did it, the spell backfired big time.
Instead of wiping their memory of the final battle and Fred's death, it didn't work at all on anyone. Instead it caused one Ronald Weasley, Draco Malfoy and Hermione Granger a little problem. A very little problem indeed.
Now it is up to Hermione, Luna, Harry, Neville and George to look after a baby Ron, Draco and Ginny. Lets not forget the rest of Ron's family. Won't they be surprised!
In a way Luna's idea worked. Having three babies to worry about, care for and love, helps everyone to move on and let the past be the past.
Draco, George, Ginny, Ron, Charlie, Sam, Mr. and Mrs. Weasley, anyone else will be NPC (We both control them)

As the role play progresses, there will be a cure for the spell. Romantic pairings: Harry/Hermione, Neville/Luna (any others that progress naturally...)
This will be AU a bit, in that there was never the Harry/Ginny fiasco. I do not buy them as a couple at all. Ginny could have had a crush on Harry and they could have got together for a short while, but it was only a high school/teenage fling. <.< Obviously the 17 years later thing never happened. This takes place 6 or so months after the final battle. Ron/Hermione did happen, but it only lasted a few months after the final battle for various reasons.
Draco is staying with the Weasley's because after his parents are sent to Azkaban, he has nowhere to go that would be safe for him anyway, so the Weasley's take him in. Harry is also staying with them, because he does not have a home yet, same with Hermione. She has no idea where her parents got off to. Luna and Neville are staying with them because it is summer and they are just visiting for an extended period of time. Plus, the gang all feels better when they are together. They are not sure how they feel about Draco being around, but have excepted it and Draco himself seems to be conflicted now that he is not under the shadow of his father or the threat of Voldemort.
Some things that might happen:
Since the gang did not finish their final year, they are expected to do one more year at Hogwarts (Good thing it is summer since half of the gang are babies)
