very little cleared out alongside road once you get out of the moor areas (which is always muddy and no different than normal, maybe a little spongier but nothing drastic). further on the Only cleared areas are the "campsights" established by years of caravans heading into and out of the desert. Campsights would be 3-4 acres of cleared space on bare hardpan from years of repeated use but also located near a water source of some sort. I'll see if i can find a pic if needed.
Think this sort of road & terrain except a bit wider, 3-4 standard horses can walk abrest
.
In fact though it matters little now I just realized I can get all sorts of images since most of my locations are based on places I've seen or visited. I will try and include linked images whenever I can.
Raevyn's Rest Inn--a series of buildings that can comfortably hold about 30 staff and over 100 guests at a single time, also containing stables, gardens, and coops. Built in the following style, only the main building is two story, the rest are single story long-house styled buildings.
Twiddledale Houses--construted of clay bricks (not stone as the pictures depticts), small cottages holding up to 4 comfortably but usally containing 6 or more family members. Often also containing small kitchen gardens around the building edges.
