Need a pilot? Isn't Ex's character the pilot?

Jane is the Jump Pilot. She picks a destination, plots the course and shit, plugs herself in and carries us through hyperspace.

Then we have the manual pilot who makes sure we don't veer into the nearest gravity well and die.

If we're all itchin' to start, though, I can have Martha Autopilot while we go looking for one?

I can be the pilot, but you'll have to wait till friday for me. If someone else is writing a pilot CS don't mind me, I can always join as co-pilot later. All for the sake of this thread staying alive.

It's Wednesday tomorrow, right? Yeah.

It doesn't matter to me. My only suggestion is to keep your bio for your character generally open enough because I intended the pilot to be established within the group already, but not the co-pilot. The co-pilot's a new guy. If you word it a certain way, you can get by with probably inserting a sentence or two to denote either.

Just in case I don't find a pilot by Friday. Because that would be bad for all of us. *Sad Face*

That does, however, give me more time to plan out the RP. :D So that I can guide you all correctly and solidly throughout it all and keep everyone interested.

I have a few scenarios in the works, but they may be a bit aways from the start of the RP.

Freedom is quite blissful.

Now, time to stuff yourself full of things to do so that you're as busy or even busier than you were during the semester.

Eheheh....

I added a quote to the top OP. It's not pertinent, but it is relevant.

I know those two words are synonyms of each other.

Name: Harriet
Alias: She Who Sweeps
Gender: Female
Age: 512
Race: Janitor

Position: Janitor
Personality:
Harriet is a woman of extreme class, and often people will catch glimpses of her sipping wine in one hand while sweeping the ground with another.

But only glimpses.

You see, a ship of this size is quite simply imposable to completely clean in one day, and so she seems to be caught in a constant loop of cleaning, followed up by sleep and then more cleaning. Not that she complains. She would have to speak to complain. No, Harriet is to the Entropic Dementia what Batman is to Gotham city, except her bat cave is a closet and her bat mobile is a janitorial cart. She is rarely seen, and works seemingly works without pause. If she sleeps, then no one has seen her in such a state before. She prefers it this way, as it minimizes the interaction she would normally be forced to have with the rest of the crew. When I said that she would have to speak to complain, I meant that quite literally. The woman is mute. But that doesn't stop her from stirring things up within the ship, often taking things in peoples rooms and planting them on another crew member, or purposefully staining someones seat in the main deck; Anything that she would find entertaining. As others argues, she watches on, her wrinkled lips pressed in a small smile.

When she is forced to clean a room with others in it, she does swiftly as can be, with grand exaggerated gestures, almost as if she were a member of a Broadway musical. She will not bother with waiting for conversations to finish, and will be gone as quickly as she had entered. Despite her flaky nature, Harriet knows everything there is to know about the ship, and is willing to help if called for. Her inability to speak causes her to carry around a white board, tucked safely under the cleaning solutions in her cart alongside a black marker.

Biography:
Born in the plane of Janitorial Closet, Harriet was originally assigned to work on the first company ship back when it was still successful. When she was still young, alongside the rest of the Janitors, Harriet lived a fairly happy life, learning all things Janitors must learn in order to become mature and reach a state of adulthood. As a janitor, Harriet did about a good a job as any other, and had no trouble keeping up with the rest of them, as some have. She, like all other Janitors, had no desires beyond fulfilling their destiny: to clean and polish every corner of their assigned job area.

Her forty-fifth assignment was to clean the original ship of the delivery company, and she did so happily. Well, not happily. Far from it. It was impossible for her to clean everything, due to the massive size of the ship, and have a regular amount of sleep. As a Janitor, this went against her biological needs. Janitors must clean their assigned area, or they become physically ill. Her health is completely correlated to the well being of the ship. She slowly became too ill to clean as she should, leading her to become even more ill. She was forced to rely on desperate measures. Harriet conducted a ritual, summoning a demonic alien from the Levithinal Galaxy to her room. She asked for the ability clean as no other could, but was unwilling to give away her soul. The demon took her voice instead.

She enjoyed working on the first ship, back when everything, and everyone, was completely stable. She loves working on the new ship even more. She finds everyone's quirks to be entertaining, and strangely endearing. All of her free time is devoted to messing with the current crew, and deal with anything that might fall within her job description.

Catchphrase: "I sure wish I could speak, then I could have any catchphrase I would like."
Miscellaneous:
- Seems to always have a glass of wine in hand, but never appears to be drunk in the slightest.
- Cleans in elegant clothing, such as that depicted in the image.
- Has complete knowledge of the layout of the ship.

I like this.

Not sure how I feel about her being mute.

But otherwise, pretty interesting/cool.

I especially like that her race is just listed as "janitor."

So after mulling over my character a bit I realised "I'm a god damn horse" or "Dude I'm a horse." or even "HORSE HORSE HORSE" will be spoken quite a bit.

Mostly. But yeah, that.

I'll certainly post it tomorrow to start us off. If we don't have everyone then, then it's fine. They can join in at a time they feel is convenient, either already established or literally just joining in. By established, I mean we've moved on past the meet and greet and they just so unassuming that we didn't notice them.
