"No worries on that." Katherin reassured her. She was glad that Niesha was going to let ger stay despite her unpredictablity. She officially had a place to call home. She still needed to get her stuff out of storage, but there was plenty of time for that latter. For now she wanted to hit the streets and see what else was happening in town.

"I'm really sorry to cut this short, but im running behind as it is, call if you have need of me!" Niesha said, picking up her bag, she started out, "and theres a fire alarm in tne garage, so disconnect that before you practice"

Eddy placed the cylinder back in its slot. "Keep the suitcase" he said as he put his helmet back on, "You're the only one who knows how to use them anyways." Holding up his arm to her view he spoke up, "The target is this building," he said as he brought up the image on his PDA, a tall skyscraper in the first district.

Niesha swung by the moving company she had used, paid, then went in hunt of the man and woman. She needed to see this through, needed to find out where they were. She ate the second cookie she had taken as she walked, searching for their auras, searching for any sign of danger.

She eventually sighed, and sat down. She took a quick break, and then, hesitating, formed a costume out of light. Armour that fit over her body nicely. A mask that would somewhat hide her identity.

And then she rose into the sky. She rarely went into the first district, but she decided she would start from there and work her way through all the others as well.

Jason woke up from sleeping his body sore, he began looking around his apartment, the building was of the expensive kind mostly financed with money he stole. As he stood up he took a drink from his drink of water next to his bedside table, "Why me?" his voice would trail off as the reality set back in, "I am Jason Arden...I am Golden Thunder...only a few years ago my only girl i ever loved was taken from me..." Jason got to his feet and looked out his window to the city a dark urge crept into his chest, "This is the heroes fault all of them...ALL THEIR FAULT!!! They could have saved her...could have helped." Jason turned away from the window and whispered, "Shazam." suddenly a giant blast of lightning struck through the window and hit him, after a few seconds Jason was gone and a very large, muscular and heroic looking man. "Golden Thunder..." after that Golden Thunder left his house and started flying with great speed as he took forward to the main part of the city, after a few seconds he spotted a group of thugs, they were surrounding a woman with dark intent in their eyes, "Hey baby how bout you spend some time with us?" The men had her closed in a corner as Golden Thunder landed behind them silently, rage overtook Jason as he floated there, "You miserable creatures deserve to be punished!!!" Jason filled his hands with magic and then started destroying the thugs ripping their hearts from their chest and causing third degree burns all over their bodies after a couple of seconds the corpses dropped and Golden Thunder looked to the woman, "go home...next time i wont be here to save you."

Zed looked as Niesha took off to do her own business. The lad patrolled the streets of District 3, keeping an active eye out for those two menaces. Their scents have complete vanished from his system, he couldn't track them down anymore. Being a street cleaner, the civilians didn't really think much of him roaming around the streets. Zed reached the place of his first major confrontation. The abandoned building. The police had already blocked off the entrances and exits, with some patrols left and right. He saw the huge gaping holes in the walls which resulted from their destruction.

Zed sighed in sadness as he realized that he needed more allies other than Niesha... And if there were heroes, more or less, they'd be at the best and richest district of all where crime was more or less rampant. District 1. The boy decided to go there by the quickest time possible... through flight. Going into a dark corner, Zed arched his back as he removed the bandages there...

"Insanity's Evolution: Cardinal Wings." Zed mumbled as the same great wings erupted from his back, flapping mighty gusts of winds. With great speed, Zed soared through the air as he made his way to the 1st district, not forgetting to pack some bandages en route.

He had been flying for sometime now... suddenly, a large bolt of lightning soared through the air as his eyes took in the magnificent yet deadly grace and beauty of such an event. His keen eyes saw somewhat of a silhouette of a person... who rushed downwards... Minutes later, sounds of pain and death were heard by Zed as his curiosity got the better of him.

Flapping his wings slowly, Zed floated downwards... only to greeted by the sight of corpses... No scratch that.. fried corpses. There was a man, wreathed in golden light. He was murmuring something to a lady who, by the looks of it, was just saved by him.

"Is he a hero? I doubt... the way he fried those corpses would tell me he's more chaotic.." Zed mumbled to himself as his wings stopped flapping. The woman looked terrified of him... So terrified her eyes were actually watering; The gruesome sight must have been quite extreme. Before she could wet her pants, Zed had to intervene.

"The lady got the message, as it seems." Zed spoke in a soft tone. Zed turned to the lady as he nodded, signalling her to run away now. "You've got quite the prowess of a gifted one... Although, you might have done something good, but the aftermath is that of a villain." Zed continued, still in a calm manner. "So what are you exactly, Mr. Thunder?" the lad inquired, taking in a deep breath, inhaling the scent of this man for future references.

Niesha had time to reflect on things as she made her way to district one. She thought that Kathrin had the potential to be a valuable ally, once she had been trained up a bit. If, that is, she choose good. Niesha believed that she would. How could it be otherwise? She wouldn't have been inclined to rent her the house if it were.

She had intervened, and freaked out a couple of gang guys in her attempt to stand up for Zed. How did she do that? It wasn't like she was intimidating, or anything like that. She just disliked bullies, and Zed had looked so...helpless wasn't the right word, but she couldn't quite think of another. Of course, he was anything but. Just troubled, and it seemed ruled by an inner demon. Yet he hadn't been able to hurt her, even when he seemed out of control.

Why was that? What did she have,, what did she do, to deserve such utter...loyalty? It wasn't like she was anyone special. Sure, she had her power. What made her deserve that? Sure, she was kind and caring. Maybe a little stupid at times, reckless. Spunky. This got a laugh out if her.

She was just a girl, trying to do what we thought was right. That was all. Nothing special. She was sure it would be what anyone would do.

"No" she said to herself, "if that were the case, why would there need to be heroes?"

This thought depressed her slightly. Suddenly, a bolt of lighting wizzed down, roughly 100km for her. Her eyes opened wided, that wasn't normal, she knew that. Could she do that? She angled downwards, landing on the outskirts of district one, curiously looking for what had drawn the bolt of lighting.

"No. You are here to find the woman and the briefcase" she started to walk through the district, but couldn't help searching for the cause of the lightening.

With a nod she held the briefcase by her knee’s, swinging it back and forth while she inspected the image of the building on the man’s PDA. “Oh I see.” She murmured at the sight of the familiar skyscraper. “Are you able to get a schematic of the ventilation system so that I can find the best positions to set the Gacid Bombs?” MindWarps voice took on a calculating tone as she shifted into planning mode.
((BTW I edited my last post to have a gas mask in the briefcase…))

Katherin locked the door of her new home behind her. She was still surprised that Niesha hadn't freaked out and changed her mind. Katherin would take extra precautions to make sure that she kept her promise to Niesha. As she walked back to her Voltzwagon Katherin wondered if Niesha was a superhero. The other woman's powers didn't match the abilities of any of the heroes that Katherin knew of. Would the chaos of today push Niesha to become a superhero? It would be awesome to rent from a hero, especially if she was able to her abilities to the point where she could establish herself as a hero. Maybe someday down the road she would be able to ally herself with Niesha. For now Katherin planned to drive around town for a couple more hours. Maybe she would see if section one was being hit by the chaos.

Lass

CRASH.

Lass woke up at the sound of the noise. He stood up and looked out the window "What was that noise?" he kept looking outside, but he spotted nothing "A dream? Yeah. I guess it was a dream." Yawning, he looked at himself. Raggedy clothes, it was torn and there was dirt all over it "... Looks like I was too tired to even care." But now that he recovered his energy, he went to fix himself.

While taking off his shirt, he felt pain "Ow. What?" There were scratches on some parts of his body, some still had some of blood gushing out of them too. Abaddon said it was a test, but he didn't even hold back that much. "I was just too tired last time!" he objected. He went to his closet and wore his usual clothes and also a flat cap. Then he headed to the window after taking his bag to find a shadow he could teleport to and found one at the balcony. He continued all the way to an alley.

Once he left the alleyway, he walked around "Let me have some fun first..." Lass had decided to find Abaddon earlier, but he thought that maybe he could go have fun by doing what he usually do. After a few minutes, he found his victim. Someone that was talking to a suspicious man as he took a package from him. "Hehehe...." he chuckled as he got closer to the driver of a truck 'Well, this time I have an excuse to kill him. I haven't tried this in a long time.' The driver went inside his vehicle and started the engine. Lass waited for the truck to pass by him. Once it was close enough, he jumped to get a better look inside 'There.' then summoned a hand that grabbed the face of the driver. The man messed up in his maneuvering and bumped to a building 'Boom.' he smiled, but then he had to act. "Gaah!" he acted like he was surprised, then ran as if he was too scared. The dark hand must have disappeared already after it was out of Lass's range. He disappeared into a shadow and watched as curious people looked at what happened. 'What an explosion...' then he left to find Abaddon after he was satisfied watching.

Golden Thunder turned around to the sound of a voice, he focused on the person in front of him as the woman ran off, "You're fairly close actually..." Golden Thunder's eyes burned bright yellow with energy as he faced the boy, this one was covered head to toe in bandages. If Golden Thunder found that strange he didn't let on to it. "I am Golden Thunder...Master of the Word." he smiled at him, "When you look at those bodies you see men? I saw only monsters...creatures that would go so low as to rape a woman...They are less than rats in my sight...and now...they wont ever rape another woman again..." He smirked, "Is this not Justice? Is this not the true Justice of life...if people like this are quelled and punished the world could know peace...I have delivered true Justice today." Golden Thunder crossed his arms and laughed, "Now on to a greater question...Do you plan on stopping me?"

ABADDON

Scipio awoke from his nap. He'd been asleep for at least an hour already, and it had certainly done him some good. Refreshed and alert, he got out of bed and headed over to the bathroom to wash up a bit. Once he finished, Scipio "altered" his clothing. Since it was really made from symbiotic material, such a thing was possible and easy to do. Also, cost efficient. He never needed to waste money on new clothes ever again!

"Don't know why I even bothered, we're... heading out anyway."

"#Figured. I should tell you a few things first though."

"Oh? What?"

"#When you were napping I had time to take in the atmosphere by myself, and noticed faint signals being broadcast throughout the area. I've actually noticed them since the chaos today began, and I have a pretty good feeling it's a signal meant to meant people, especially metahumans, go berserk."

Scipio thought about the symbiote's words for a brief moment. The craziness sure made more sense now, especially that small spree of destruction by Obliterate earlier today. What he wondered though is who or what could be broadcasting such a frequency, and why. Furthermore, why did it seem that some metas such as himself, Lass, and Hawk remained unaffected? The symbiote picked up on this.

"#I'm guessing that's possible because of both your supernatural connections and me technically functioning as a mental shield. Hawk is naturally attuned to electricity, so it could be that his amplified bioelectricity blocks the signal. The child... not sure. In the end-"

"It must just boil down to how resistant someone is to such things, including their willingness to resist."

The symbiote spread over Scipio, making him Abaddon once more. He'd need to go and find the source, or sources of these frequencies. Also, Lass. He had a feeling that kid would be searching for him.

Zed nodded as he listened closely to the Golden Thunder, blah blah blah.

"Indeed. Men like these are not fit to be called as human beings, even trash. They are lower than that." Zed replied as he edged closer, his eyes examined the fried corpses. "I had my share of such massacre. To purge the world of these tyrants, yes." Zed mumbled, poking his foot on one of the corpse's face. "Yet... how different are we to these trash if we stoop down to their level and let our rage do the talking? To take their life would often be inevitable, but, to overdo it would mean that their existence actually unnerved us to the point that we take the punishment to the extreme." Zed looked up to the kid.

"Justice? That's a pretty word. If we purge the unjust in this manner, the people would not know peace but fear. You saw how the woman fled in terror even if she knew you saved her from being violated." Zed continued. "There is a difference in maintaining order between willingness and fear... being willing or loyal is the easier part... because the people know that you are just... However, if you show them such extreme brutality, they do not see your justice... they see fear, and a future hand that will dominate them. This nation does not need anymore fear than it already has..." Zed sighed as he flapped his wings, making him hover on the ground.

"You have a heart of a hero... You are just one of those chaotic types. I, myself, am just a neutral being... However, if you truly wish to purge this nation of the sickness of death and injustice... then, there's a pair of villains who are planning to unleash a terror which is unknown to most, if not all." Zed proposed to Golden Thunder. "You are not my enemy."

"Often chaotic types originate from a tragedy that happened in their lives... Mine was tragic, however, I did my best to ascend from despair... To grow beyond hate.. for hate consumes a person." Zed shivered, remembering his demon. "What separates us from animals is our will to be able to choose when and when not to take a life... and most importantly, when to value one." Zed smiled.

"So... would you like to help a mutant save a nation who hates him?"

Golden Thunder paused because for the first time in a very long time, someone had connected to him at a deep level, "Shazam!" A blast of lightning that could be seen very far away fell from the sky and struck him, in a matter of seconds a young kid about 17 stood there staring at the winged mutant.

The boy spoke, his voice shaking lightly. "Two years ago I lost the love of my life to a bunch of thugs...I got to brave as a hero, some pretty bad men found out my identity and snuck in to my apartment, taped my mouth shut and tied Mary and I down, they tortured her...and I couldn't anything as they slaughtered my lover right in front of my eyes. The worst part is there was a Hero right outside...she was to busy stopping a building fire to save my girlfriend and I, but she sure as hell saw us, I have never been the same...but...you speak the truth...if these villains really do have something deplorable planned you have the support of Golden Thunder."

Jason whispered, "Shazam!" The lightning fell from the sky and struck Jason, and in a matter of seconds he was Golden Thunder, "My friend's call me Jason...it would be nice to have a few of those again." Jason extended his hand and tried to smile, "I think I'm done blaming people...I'll forge my own path."

Zed's wings covered his eyes as a flash of golden thunder jolted from the sky and struck the person he was talking to. As the light cleared out, his wings folded back as in front of him was not a shining hero, but a normal kid... probably younger than him. "Hence the name I see." Zed chuckled as he nodded to Jason.

Jason told him of his story... a story of sadness. His loved one was killed by some thugs which explains his unnatural brutality with these types of criminals. His chaotic demeanor wasn't only attributed to his loved one, no, it was also affected by a hero. Zed fully understood the heroine who chose to focus her attention on the burning building than to them... although, a true hero could multitask... It was a weight of a hundred lives versus a single one. However, Zed was also sympathetic of Jason... He fully understood the pain he must have felt during that time.

"Jason. Nice name." Zed smiled, repeating Jason's name, "I am Zed. Street Cleaner." the lad chuckled as he shook Jason's hand with his bandage-wrapped one. "Since you have told me your secret... I would like to tell you a little bit of mine... to show you that I understand your pain." Zed's soft voice turned a bit deeper, his mutation was building up some rage.

"Before I was like this... I was actually... like every normal human out there. My parents left me at a young age due to me being born out of a crazy night at a bar, and an accident in the backseat. I needed to survive... working where it was possible until I came to a Toxic Factory. Yes, I was named as Best Employee there. However, as you succeed..." Zed glared at Jason, taking Jason's experience with similarity to his. "Many begin to hate you. My co-workers tossed me into a vat of animal DNA waste. Well, things turned awry after that. They fired me... they left me.. Heck, even the orphanage sent me away." Zed continued, tears building up in one of his eyes. "It was one that fateful day that I regretted so much... The Predator within had awakened."

Zed decided that to tell the full details of that day would set back Jason's trust with him... He just needed to get to the end.

"Long story short. Many people were buried that day, including my first love." Zed sighed. "But you know what's more painful? Knowing your hand was the one who stained them. That's why in that place, children developed a nursery rhyme about a kid who was too angry that he became a monster. That rhyme didn't describe a normal kid, no. It was describing... they called me, the Predator." Zed let out a really deep sigh and groan of remorse. Suddenly, Zed wiped the tears from his eyes as he sighed.

"However, that was just the past. I know I cannot bring back the dead, but by stopping these villains... I can prevent it from happening again to a larger population." Zed smiled as he lifted into the air. "Come, we've got an ally to meet."

Zed flew into the air, tracking Niesha's scent who was near in the vicinity. He was now approaching Niesha, finally, he had found an ally. They had a fighting chance.

Niesha womdered the main part of district ome, figuring that the man and woman jad had enough time to use whatever was in the breifcase, and that they might attack something with it, assuming it was a weapon. Where would a good chance for an attack be? District one, the busiest section.

the only problem was, this was where her mother had been murdered. and with each step, her eyes were drawn to the spot where it happened. Where she hadnt been quick enough to protrct her mother. She had heard the scream, and gone running.only to be too late by mi utes. She had been murdered, and Niesha had seen the murderers flee, but had been unable to chase them.

Niesha mother had had money-which niesha now had, but she doubted this was the motive for the murder. No, her mother had had powers just like hers, but never used them. She was sure it was related to that, but nad no way of knowing for sure.

This was a bad place for Niesha to be at the moment, but knew she had to. How could she live with herself if she could have stopped a disaster but didn't because of her own fears?

She sighed, dwelling on what was wouldn't do her any good. She looked about her, and smiled when she saw Zed., Niesha waved, and walked over, "hi" she said happily

Golden Thunder listened to Zed's story closely and intently, when zed finished talking he took off and after a second so did Jason. He started flying close behind and thinking about things, the flashbacks, the nightmares, the feeling of emptiness, would they all heal eventually? Jason didn't know but for the moment he was on the right path again. As they approached a woman he landed softly his lightning bolt on his chest glowing softly and his eyes also.

"Good morning." Jason smiled and looked them both over, "Zed here has told me of your quest to face these villians. You have my support and for the time being my power against these foes," Jason smiled a big smile, and held out his hand to shake hers, "Its a nice day to meet new friends."

Niesha examined the man, big and looming, "wow. Mountain. I assume the lightening bolts have been you?" She said, more statint a fact than asking a question, shifting, and accepting the offered hand, "I am Niesha. Oh damn. I'm meant to give my alias, aren't I? Well, that's Solar eclipse"

She turned to Zed, "I might have someone too, she's a lkttle untrained, doesn't really nave a side yet, but she's my tenant, so I can keep an eye on her in any case"

Roxy was bored walking the lower side of time. It was time to see what the upper class were up to on this wonderfully chaotic morning. She could have gone back and gotten her convertible, but Roxy decided it would be more interesting to ride the bus. With all the people getting on and off the bus her toxin would spread like wildfire. Roxy just hoped her little illness would not be loss in all the chaos, no she wasn't going to question herself. Her toxin might not the front page, but it would definitely make the news.

Lass

As he was walking around, another bolt had appeared not too far from his spot "Hmm? I thought that was a dream. I guess not." then he just had to check it out. When he got closer and closer, another lighting fell from the sky "What's with those bolts?" he became quicker. Taking a peek, he saw two people '... or monsters, whatever.' Lass watched as they flew off. It seems they had some business at some other place "Well that was boring." After he checked what the bolts were from, he went back to his original goal.

Lass continued walking around the district, searching for his supposed to be mentor. He had went to look at the underground, but he saw and felt nothing there "Ugh. Where's that demon? I've been looking everywhere!" he complained. Then he finally felt the same thing he had felt before, but only faint. Perhaps what was causing it had started to fade, whatever it was.

He switched from one shadow to another then finally got close to the one he's looking for. After he confirmed that no one was watching, the boy jumped up high and headed for Abaddon with a huge black hammer. "Heeeeeeey!" he greeted him with an incoming strike of a giant hammer while wearing a devilish smile.
