Color Guards aren't really a canon class for 4e because of their reliance on an item, but you can be a similar class and still wave a flag around if you want. They're basically pole fighters that shout and wave a flag that they stab people with, and there's bound to be a Leader class that can be equip with a pole weapon and do the same thing.

I have a character generator for 4e on my computer, and that's what I use to make characters anyways. I was just gonna punch in everyone's sheets to make sure they're legal in terms of points, and save them to keep track and level everyone up.

You can PM me on the weekend and we can make your character. The same goes for everyone else here.

Give me a time this weekend you'd be available to get this done. Or, you can just send me the rough info: race, class, physical descriptions such as weight and height, and preferred starting weapon. I'd give you the list of level 1 skills available to you to choose from, but you'd have to look into the feats yourself because that's a lot to type.

Warlord seems to be a good option for this.

So, this will be odd, but here is my concept: Paladin/Vampire Hybrid focused on Chaladin stuff and using Virtue's Touch instead of Lay on Hands. Race will be Tiefling

I thought Vampire was a racial trait you could pick? But dude, sounds cool. I'm down for custom characters that I can generate.

Vampire is a base class in 4th ed. A Shadow power source Striker. working on sheet and such

WIP. Should we worry about ammo/food/carrying space or just handwave it?

Ran into a nasty snag that is a bit bothersome for this hybrid. It is a little bit too MAD and the different roles are proving a hindrance in this case. I'm sure if I min/maxed it a tone, it would work out, but it is not solid for me.

So, I decided to go for a Vampire/Monk instead and might dabble with some MC stuff. Revenant race, previous life is Tiefling, the ressurrection imbued with vampirism, so retains normal tiefling vamp appearance but had the scaled claws added from being revenant

Might as well go ahead and post this here.

So I'm running into some complications over the Vampire class. I recommend going fully monk focusing on Stone Fist for both build and tradition. Also, 1st level characters are unable to learn supernal so you can go with Primordial. Also: as a revenant you can only choose your background race (tiefling like you said) which would prevent bloodline features (such as vampirism) from transferring over into the new revenant form. So in your back story, you can say that you were a vampire but your character will only be allowed to use revenant features revenant and tiefling wise.

There are some good features from the revenant race that do extra damage types. The feat Chill of the Grave will turn your Dark Reaping's type into cold and nectrotic damage. The Death's blessing feat will fully make you dead, meaning that suffocation doesn't affect you (which would mean you no longer need to breath, and so you can be immune to suffocating toxins, drowning, etc.). Empowered reaping does bonus damage points with your Dark Reaping. You initially get +2 bonus, level 11 it increases to +4, and level 21 increases it to +6.

Your powers would also be monk powers if you decide to stick with that class. Sorry I don't have the Heroes of Shadow book.
