This is sort of addressed at everyone. I'm not sure how realistic it is that people could rely on scavenging cans of food for 11 years, since that is going to be everyone's first idea. These supplies aren't going to replenish themselves, so these people will have turned to non-industrialized-society forms of obtaining food long ago, like hunting animals, scavenging for edible plants, farming, carefully managing livestock, or things along those lines.
Basically, I'm saying that there won't be any canned beans or loaves of bread unless there is someone that is intentionally making those items, because this stuff will have run out long ago. MAYBE you could pull it off if you were the sole survivor of a place like Bergen, Norway, but it still seems like a stretch to me.
