For the school's name, how 'bout Kamikara High School? (神から) It means "From God".

Also, I vote city! And yeah, the opening ceremony seems somewhat unnecessary.

That is up to you. Generally the RPs i have been in, the Opening Ceremony is like where the characters sort of "Introduce themselves" but since thats really what the OOC character sheets are for, it isn't exactly necessary.

The opening ceremony is a waste of time

1. City, definitely.
2. Anything works, really. Just pick a Japanese word/term and pin 'Academy' or 'High School' to the end.
3. Skip it. Doesn't serve any purpose, really. It doesn't really introduce our characters to each other since generally you're all assembled in the gym and have to listen to the speakers, not talk to each other. We can always have flashbacks and stuff. "Hey, remember that time in the opening ceremony when you..." Etc.

Well yeah, for the 2nd and 3rd years, I'd assume you know each other at least as acquaintances. :)

I'm debating where to set the character limit at because we have quite a few people at the moment and I'm expecting about two more (I don't think they're coming back though). But mehhhh, we might just have enough room for one more. :P

Just noticed that all but three people are 2nd year...I feel like the two third-years and the one first year are gonna have a tough time.
