Going to have to say no. Its engines can accelerate at 100 meters per second (in the atmosphere. In space, it can accelerate much faster), and it weighs 256 tons.

Meaning it could, hypothetically, beat gravity and climb at one meter per second squared with around 2,200 tons. Hypothetically, although he never, ever, ever, would, and it would be downright idiotic in combat since it would take forever to move, it is technically possible. So I would ask for a specific exemption for him, knowing and promising that his plane would never lift even close to 500 tons.

Hey, there's a vote going on. If problems are gonna get resolved then we need to do them one at a time. The vote is to increase the maximum strength of specialized characters up to 500 tons max.2 votes for yes0 votes for noLet's get this out of the way now so we can move on to other issues.

I abstain. I'm not taking part in something that's essentially directly counter to the GM's wishes, even if he's not here.

Hey, I just want the issues we have dealt with.

Solve problems, prevent arguments.

If people object to it, then say no. If people agree with it, then say yes. There's no GM at the moment so issues like this, the laser thing, et cetera are up to us to resolve. We couldn't force Rilla or one person to decide all of this for us so having a vote for resolutions to issues is the best course of action.

Alright, there we go. Voting to resolve an issue rather than sitting around doing nothing.

3 votes yes
1 vote no

I'm changing my answer to no, because I've reconsidered my point on it. So:

2 vote yes
2 votes no

Everyone needs to vote to resolve this yo, so come on folks.

Eh, so with LeeRoy's prompting (but not his influence) I'm inclined to vote against that change - in part to keeping with the already-set rules, and in part because it doesn't seem to be a solution to what guys are asking for (unless I'm mistaken). More strength is great and all, but strength alone won't ever close the gap against a magic user, agility and endurance will. And high agility combined with ~100 tons of lifting force is a force to be reckoned with by anyone. A higher strength cap won't cause too many problems I guess, but I don't see it solving what people want out of it either.

Nice to come in here and not come across an argument. I'll say no for the strength thing, you'll typically need more then a set strength to get to proper high tier anyway. :K

The current state of affairs.

Example:

The status quo of North Korea is absolute despair and filth due to the Kim dynasty sucking at being good rulers.

Im okay with a character having enough strength to lift their own and their equipment's weight, but having all the 500 tons to top that seems ridicilous. 500 should be more of a 100% benchmark for high tiers, but not something desirable. Seriously, there are a lot more interesting things than lifting big stuff, and i dont really see how increasing the cap past that number will make pure strength characters that much more fun to fight with.

Lifting weight is a benchmark reference for the approximate strength of the character, rather than sitting down and calculating exactly how strong they are.

What exactly are you adressing with that? I dont think i mentioned anything contradicting your statement, i just said that 500 tons seems more than enough for a minimal-stat focused, high tier character's strength reference to me.
