Not far away, that night, at the den of the Godfreys, a cool breeze blew through through to open walkway to the balcony. Poor Richard was working double duty to manage his pack affairs and RUBC work at the same time. He happened to be home. He happened to be alone in his study. There happened to be an intruder.

With an unavoidable chill, the vampire lord entered the room. Using what tricks of mind power he could get away with on an immortal, Damien obscured his presence. His appearance was masked into a mere shadow. His sounds, mentally dismissed as the mere banter of nature. But there he stood, rising to full height in the back of the room beside an old grandfather clock and a bookcase. The werewolf gamma was sure to notice him soon.

He gave a little oomph as her form bumped into his. He had been mid sentence talking to a young girl, a staffer couldn't have been on the job for more than a week. Her desk was a mess, and she seemed to be losing her mind. He turned to meet another unfamiler face. Had he been on the streets too long? He shook his head a little, fixing himself some. "Excuse me Miss, I didn't mean to block your way. May I ask who you are?" He spoke in a firm tone, though not aggressive. His demeanor was friendly enough. The captain strolled through the isles of desks shutting himself into his office. He'd have to speak to him later .

Just as Silver was done with her phone call, she noticed the car that had been slide to her. She looked up from her desk at the werewolf's standing next to her. Good old Senna, sure they hadn't been working together for more then a few good months but those moths had indeed been productive. She puts down the phone and smugly look up at her friend She gets up and hugs her in a rather hastily matter. Since now they both had work to do. She pointed in to the cell where Mr.Dolf was sitting humming something to himself. He failed to notice the fact that he was being pointed out Seems Dolf heard their last statement and he responded with a wink towards the two ladies standing on the other side of the bars. Silver smugly smiled back before she continuedAs she said the last statement she looked straight in the cage at Dolf, who suddenly looked a heck of a lot less happy or content.

A thin eyebrow arched as she looked at the guy, her arms crossed over her chest as she examined the man. "Do you need anything out of him? Might as well use him for something since he's here. He is a fool to get himself into trouble in the first place." she said cracking her knuckles. She smirked to Silver, "I wouldn't mind getting my hands a bit dirty." Senna was fine working with this vampire, notice how she said this, the werewolf wasn't fond of the bloodsuckers, but she had to work and play nice, it was better than wondering around from place to place when needed. Besides, Silver wasn't so bad, she was serious, and didn't need to be taken care of, which is admirable. "Besides, the more information we have, the better."

Damien was big, but he wasn't nearly the size of Richard. The lycanthrope's strength could crush a vampire, even one of Damien's age. The danger of being so close to such monster excited him, like risking death and laughing in the grim reaper's face. He knew alpha and beta were both away, which opened up so many more opportunities in conversation with Richard. Damien stepped out of the shadows, revealing himself bravely. Clearly this was no vampire Richard had ever seen, yet, he knew, by merely looking at him that this vampire was indeed powerful, certainly not an underling of any of the local colonies. "Greetings, Richard Godfrey. I am Damien Varomere..." He said his name with a pause, as if he hadn't spoken it to anyone in a hundred years. "...and I come to you with a proposition." He smiled. "I am going to start a war, a war that could pay off quite well for you. Both primary vampire houses will fall, and the Godfreys will rule this entire island. Are you interested?"

A collab between xAsunawolfx and Ghosr shadow
Alexandre kept his composure, though his eyes flared with boiling anger. "Mind your tongue, Girl. I will not be lectured by a slave." He hissed, clenching his fists tightly, his already pale knuckles turning even whiter with the effort.

“Servant. Come closer, over there with your tail between your legs!” She corrected him with an upbeat grin as her fire grew vast, staring at the vampire as if he were a child. “ I will simply answering the questions I had been asked, Boy , it was due to your grudge against me that this women now faces death. Your main enemy is not your colony, nor should you treat it as so. If you let the women go, perhaps you can maintain what is left of your dignity among your audience.”

"You halfwit whore." He cursed under his breath. "Fear inspires loyalty. Blood servants are not allowed to birth children, as this one did. Her punishment is just according to colony laws. Unless you wish to challenge centuries of tradition for your compassion." He offered, his tone remaining calm and smooth.

“I beg your pardon?” She spoke as if she was offend when in person, she appeared to be far from it, drawing a few steps towards the irked vampire. “They see not her crimes as for birthing a child but for reporting news that would always be seen as urgent. They heard her pleads for life to you, not for being caught pregnant. No matter the fact, you cannot erase her crimes but you also cannot erase how it looks to the blood servants of this colony. You Thricewit Dweeb , fear inspires the type of loyalty that will crumble between your fingers one day when they realize that they can do better. Revolts. Rebellion.”

"Back. Off.." He growled threateningly, one of his many hidden knives pressing up against her abdomen as she moved closer. His voice became a terrible hushed whisper. "You don't know who the hell you're messing with, I'll tell you; I've killed more people than you've met, countless blood servants with egos too big to handle were...knocked down a peg. So take a hint."

“Yesss.” Marissa hissed as her pupils scoured his as if he were a piece of meat. She did not press on but knew were her tides lie. “You would murder someone who is taking heed of the orders of your own master, answering his every question? Perhaps I have no ego but truth, truth you don’t want to hear. You’ve dug your own grave, I did not bring this upon you. Do not let my words of your grudges be truth, that your anger will not serve the Lord well. It looks really bad…” She blinked her dilated eyes, her scent of roses would engulf them both as she whispered the last part. “In front of your own master.”

There was no other sound besides the blade slinking back up Alexandre's sleeve into its unknown compartment. He was wordless, knowing her words held truth didn't pain him any less. He knew what he would have to do - he would have to break her.

Lord Giles

He chuckled softly, finishing off his cigarette. It was unusual for lord Giles to show any degree of emotion other than subtle anger. He allowed for these small interruptions to slide, knowing they were used to get under his skin and to a point defend him. She was young naive, knowing not the intense inferno she was walking into.

Finally the long winded girl seemed to stop. He paid no mind to their current discussion "Miss Lopez, the RBUC, as you said did wondrous things, is in fact important. They keep the larger dog packs in check making sure that our smaller communities thrive." His words were like honey, sweet and thick. He had said just the opposite only moments before she had arrived. It was hard for anyone to tell what was his true feelings in the subject, except maybe Alexander.

"And as much as I would like to murder or kill someone when ever they insulted, tried to insult me, sadly I can not because, a gentleman, and a civilized man would never do such a thing. The girl I'm afraid is tainted. The RBUC allows me to continue to adhere to our tradition. They understand why bloodservent can not have children. Ties to the colony must be stronger than ties to the past life." He said this a matter of factly. His eyes moved to Alexander now, as he adjusted his sitting position.

"Alexander is one of the oldest members of this colony. I respect his choices, and see him not as a servant but as a father sees a child prodigy. By him being the way his, he has kept this colony afloat through inquasition and war. So please bother him no further. It is my duty to repremand my children. Not a Servants like you " now miss Lopez would be a good time to bring something for us to eat. Alexander would you requite some food today?" He of course was refering too blood. His eyes darted to the young female then back to his loyal companion.

"And miss Lopez, please be careful on how you speak in this house, one wrong word or slip and you might as well have fallen down the stairs." His final words seemed more threat then not. Though if any intelligent person heard them they would know that in reality it was a promise.
Richard Godfrey

He turned, to the vampire his nose taking a long sniff imprinting his identity into his mind. He smelt old, not the oldest he's smelt. But still positively ancient. He relaxed into his chair, continuing to size him up, his eyes drinking in the image of the leach before him.
"Let's hear it then." His voice boomed though he was speaking normally. The wolf crossed his arms over his chest and waited.
Captain Loots

He had as quitelt slipped into his office sitting behind his large oak desk. It seemed that every morning when he left the pile of papers would be almost gone. But then the next evening it would have replenished.
He worked tirelessly, his mind constantly on work. Charles, cared little for the politics that happend at the lower levels only looking for results. Though with recent turmoil everyone was doubling their usually arrests, fines, and cases. So he decided to start building a small task force. Right now he had three candidates. Silver a vampire, James GunHammer an American, and Devina a werewolf prospect with an eye for business... He still had much thinking on this.

"No thank you, my lord." Alexandre replied to the Patriarch's request for food. Though he had not openly thanked the older Vampire, a subtle nod of thanks towards him was all that was necessary to state his gratitude.

Alexandre felt a small twitch of a smirk tug at his lips as he knew the servant had trapped herself, but he quickly hid such gestures behind his stony expression. He knew that what he had done, too, was out of line for his position. Silence was expected more than intervention from a Royal Protector, and he would have to be sure to keep his own anger in check. But this girl, this...mortal had a way of getting under his skin, breaking through every wall and blockade to reveal the weak, fleshy interior where a maelstrom of emotion churned and toiled within him, never ceasing, never weakening in its turmoil.

Alexandre growled at the prospect. If he were to be removed from his position by one disgusting slave, then all was lost. The years he spent rising up in the ranks, gaining favors, doing jobs that were not only expected of him...but necessary for the colony's survival.

It was no shock that Alexandre coveted the Patriarchal position for himself, yet he hid these ambitions: treachery was not in his blood, he could not kill the Patriarch for his own gain. When the time was right...he would be chosen. And if not - he would serve the next Patriarch like all Royal Protectors before him since the start of Clan Desmodontinae; with the same loyalty and protectiveness that he had served Lord Giles.

"Tensions are rising between the various houses of the supernatural in London. You all have shared this little scrap of land for far too long. Peace can never be maintained indefinitely. Eventually, a conqueror always rises. Noctilio and Desmodontinae are a hair's breadth away from annihilating each other, and with a slight push from me, the war will begin. I am going to kill a Desmodontinae. Of course it will look unmistakably to be the work of a vampire, and before anyone can start asking questions, I will attack the Noctilios as well, seemly out of vengeance on behalf of the slain Desmodontian. You know as well as I do that the lack of communication and centuries of prejudice and hate will erupt like a geyser, and there will be killing in the streets, raids on both their houses. The RUBC will be overwhelmed, and even if they have the gall to get involved, they will only manage to waste their resources and perhaps even further weaken our enemies." Damien lowered his head slightly, emphasizing his implication. "Who knows who might be killed in the raging crossfire. I know you would be forced to step up to a higher position if your leaders fell." He paused a moment, turning to pace slightly toward the balcony. "What I need you to do, at the right time, is to come help me finish off whatever remains of the Demodontians, as they will certainly be the last left standing. Come yourself, or recruit a small band of your followers, but chose wisely, as they will be your future subordinates. As for me, I do not want to rule, nor do I care to have my own clan. All I want, is to taste Lord Giles blood as I cast his soul from this world. After that, I will leave."

“Davina Flynn.” She replied with a slight nod of her head in the gentleman’s direction, but did not offer her hand to shake mainly because both of hers were filled with files. “I was just dropping off some files on my daily rounds.” She sighed.

Moving the weight of the files onto one arm Davina proceeded to flicker through the tops of them with her other hand. “A job of a staffer is never done. Once you get through one pile of paper work.” Picking out a file she dumped it onto the over flowing in-tray upon the desk with the obligatory heavy thump. “Another pile appears.” She picked up an assortment of completed forms from the desk.

For a moment her eyes glanced over towards the woman behind the gentleman who was now proceeding to declare her willingness to beat up the Vampire contained in the nearby cell. Davina resisted the urge to roll her eyes at how uncouth she was being and instead turned back to the gentleman himself.

“Now then.” She slid the papers into between the files she was still carrying in order to keep them together. “Is there anything I can help you with Mr…” She paused and waited politely for the gentleman to provide his name.

Lord Giles
"Ah I see, you know you have to eat sometime. Otherwise you'll wither away." His words were relaxed again. "Alexandre, please if you would personally go and see the RBUC I feel like we need to have a meeting with the captain. All my letters seem to get lost when I try to contact him."
Richard Godfrey
He thought for a moment. Not at the prospect of being alpha, but at the idea of the vampires being annihilated. Then his mind cleared, intense rage filled his eyes as he stared into the very soul of the vampire. "YOU, WANT ME TO BETRAY MY PACK?!" Richard boomed, his words carried through the entire mansion as always when he explodes. "LISTEN HERE, BLOOD SUCKER I WILL DIE BEFORE IBALLOW MY BETA AND ALPHA TO DIE BY YOUR HANDS OR ANYOTHER VAMPIRE!!" By now the sound of soft grunts and claws on wood were echoing through the house. Reinforcements were arriving. Richard himself began to look a little hairy, his eyes yellowing his teeth elongating. He could transform in a moment with flawless perfection, but at this time he was holding back.
James GunHammer

"GunHammer" He spoke with a thick American accent, "But you can call me James." He tipped his head lightly to her mostly from muscle memory. "I do believe I have never seen you Miss Flynn, how long have you been working here?" He hardly could remember any of the staffers anymore. Though she had a pretty face. " He turned some, now being ignored by the vampire to give his attention to the lady.

"Idiot dog." Damien narrowed his eyes. "Why would I want you to betray your pack? I should have come to your superiors to make my offer. I can clearly see why your gamma. Nonetheless. I will give you one last chance. Consult with your alpha on my offer if you wish. It matters not to me. otherwise I will simply make the same offer to the Fellers, and you can believe they will have my support after vampire control has been eliminated, lest you Godfreys try anything. You have nothing to gain from this except domination for your whole pack." He moved toward the door. "I shall return only once more, when your more intelligent allies have returned."

“Pleasure to meet you Mr Gunhammer.” Davina nodded, once again, politely and formally. “I’ve been working here for just under a month now, but I can safely say that money from investors has been used quite wisely in the ever continuing fight against Unlawful Unnaturals of which the brave men and women here attend to daily.” Davina spoke with well-practiced professionalism, she also wondered how she might’ve fared in the marketing division of RBUC.

While James Gunhammer said he hadn’t seen her around she had certainly seen him flittering about the different areas of RBUC reporting to the higher ups for missions and such. The other staffers thought quite highly of him as well going on about the rousing, if at times improbable, adventures he had had ruffians he had deained in his time.

“I hope you do not find me rude.” She began, finding this gentleman rather fascinating. “But you are…Irish? No.” She closed her eyes and tilted her head to the left slightly in thought. She recognised that accent, her parents had invited over another gentlemen with the same accent that one time when she was younger. “American.” She opened her eyes with a triumphant lift of her chin, proud with herself to not only identify the accent but remember something from such a long time ago. “Am I correct?”

"As you command, my Lord." Alexandre responded respectfully, bowing slightly as he turned to leave. It was uncommon for a Patriarch to send his/her Protector away. But the Patriarch was still the strongest Vampire in the colony, and could easily enough defend himself from attack.

Still, Alexandre felt like something was amiss. Things seemed....off. But he paid it no mind as he left the dour confines of the mansion. He felt the cool night air brush against his face as he felt the light of the moon permeate his flesh and enter into his very being. He could stand there for hours simply taking in the power, but knew he had a job to do

The RBUC headquarters were about 12 miles away, a long trek for a mortal. But Alexandre was imbued with unnatural speed and practically glided across the ground as he ran, hearing nothing but the strong wind brushing past him as he sped along.

It was not long before the tall building came into view before him. Coming to a halt, he stepped up to the front door and opened it with one sweeping motion, stepping in; not even bothering to hide his gleaming sword where it lay at his hip. "I'm looking for your commanding officer." He declared in a commanding voice towards anyone who would listen.
