Victor stared ahead blankly as the horn continued to go off. At one point, someone from the survivor group ran over with a shotgun pointed at the van and started yelling. Victor couldn't hear what the guy was saying, but he was about to open the window and tell him to go to hell. Before he had a chance, a more reasonable person hurried over and took the shotgun away, then opened the driver door and let Ed fall out, putting an end to the horn.
Tucking his gun away, Victor decided he needed to act. He didn't feel like doing much of anything right now, but he wasn't ready to die yet either. Swinging the passenger door open, he climbed down to the ground. He straightened his lab coat, which was dirty and bloodied by this point, as best he could and using the van for support, dragged/hobbled to the front of the vehicle on his stumps. It hurt to walk on them, but he didn't care right now.
"I think noise attracts them. It isn't wise to stay here for too long." he said looking up at the two men who had come over there.
