Rifles weren't used in the Renaissance as far as I know.
Who controls the nations on the southern side of the map?

Hey yog, wanna push the myraratur republic west of that river when we begin? It would mean no tax on our trade when using the river. It would also be easier since it's NPC now

Ya, I wasn't allowed 30 magic users. Only 2.Edit: after we push the rats back, I just need to turn that river into a canal. Shouldn't be too hard, the land seems flat and the distance to the bay from the river is small.

Then the spots on reserve should be LISTED. There's only so much room, I would like to know specifically what land isn't taken or reserved before I attempt to join.

I'm just saying that that's what he's told everyone else. He made it very clear that he wanted magic to be unique and legendary, not commonplace. Plus being an island isn't only a downside. First of all, that's a big island and it'd be very hard to completely blockade it. Not to mention that people have to load their armies on boats in order to get there in the first place. And guys, don't start discussing what you're going to do with the nation of the guy who left. I don't see any reason to make it an NPC instead of just saying it doesn't exist.

I like NPCs, they make the RP interesting. I didn't mean to be rude when discussing myraratur republic.

I suppose we'll have to wait for word from Golem on the matter, but I just kind of assumed everywhere not claimed by one of us was occupied by little NPC nations. After all, it doesn't make much sense for there to be massive swathes of completely unpopulated land.

I had a specific society in mind. desert and plains don't work.
