So, my adviser worked with the head of my department and the registrar's office to literally change the classroom where two classes were held so that I could get into them. They knew they had kind of screwed up and wanted to help me be on the course to graduating on time.
Then I talked to my professors, who are fine with my being in the courses, but basically said "Making up the work and information is your problem, don't bother us about it." One of them says I need to be completely made up before the next test, which is in 2 weeks. The other one says I need to be ready to take the quiz on Thursday. So yeah, I'm going to make up 2 weeks of material in less than two days when I don't even have the books yet since I didn't know if I'd be in these classes or not until today... That's totally realistic. Thanks!
On top of that, I have Thermo homework due Friday, and Technical Writing homework due Sunday...
So, my reply is still on delay. I've been wanting to do it, but with both parts, it becomes nearly a thousand word reply and I want to take the time to do a good job on it instead of just "phoning it in." I might wind up picking Erik's or Joseph's part when I get to it instead of trying to do both for this post. Starting next post I could probably do both.
And I might still try to find a de-stressing break and get at least that half in, 30 mins of study to 15 mins of writing and such, but I just wanted to let you know what was going on right now. And yeah, okay, I probably needed to rant a little bit, because I'm still rather pissed off at the unrealistic expectation. :-)
