The Sharon/Steve kiss made me cringe in the theater. Funny thing is, you could feel the hype in the room from the rest of the movie, many people clapped and were making noises (so glad I wasn't the only freaked out fan there) and when the kiss happened, you could literally feel the confusion because... to me, it was out of place and it only happened to remind us "hey, Cap is straight! Even though he is going against all his opposing friends and 117 countries for this guy, he's still straight!!! I mean, it doesn't matter that if Bucky was a chick, Cap would have already boned that, pfft, nah. When it's two guys, they're just really, really good bros, okay? okay!"

But ah onto administrative matters, still waiting a lil bit for some more people to post, unless that's all of them already and I'm miscounting -^-

As for Garret over here. Well, looking over his bio and everything, it's all under harsh harsh scrutiny. Thing is, I'll allow it, but the lines of his past have to remain blurred, incredibly vague, at most, he's known to be somewhat son of Steve, maybe even a student under his wing at bes, but in order not to alienate any new comers, and as much as I do love shipping, I will stretch so far as to allow it under the wraps, but to the surface of this rp, it's a hidden story, possibly never brought up or even something that doesn't exist. If you're okay with this, I'll accept him, though I think that maybe his firearm skills should be downplayed a little bit, I'll pass it on to my cogm for evaluation of the powers cause I feel it may be a little op. @flightless-angel-castiel

I'm definitely cool with keeping the Steve and Bucky relationship in the subtext of the roleplay. I'll do my best to write it so that it's maybe there for the people who want to see it and not for those who don't know about it? If that makes sense. Keep it under the surface, as you say, and don't actually bring it up in the roleplay. I'm also definitely cool with keeping Garret's past mostly blurred and vague. Would I be allowed to have a character arc for him, however, that doesn't include Steve? That's beyond the past that includes any of the canon characters. I can definitely PM you what I have in mind for that.

Keeping that in mind, though, I'm definitely mostly focused on Garret rather than Steve or Bucky, so if anything those little beneath the surface, under wraps kind of tid bits would likely be few and far between, if that helps any. Like several pages between hints and stuff like that, as long as it makes sense for the character, himself, you know. I wouldn't wanna just fling something out there even if it is just in the far background and kinda vague.

And, yeah, I'll gladly tone down any of the firearm abilities if they seem a little too powerful, right now. Just tell me what I need to take out or fix to be acceptable and I'll get down to it. ;o

That fanfic "[insert ship name] if you squint" thing. That's perfectly acceptable and since you are, obviously, going to be concentrating on Garret and not all that, then, yeah, cool, man, cool.

As for the firearm abilities, since it seems that has been put in my hands (oh God, the power), I, frankly, see nothing wrong with them. Because of what I know of Garret's past, and because he has trained under the likes of Natasha and Clint (from what I understood from what I read, at least), I think they make sense. And, besides, some people are naturals at that type of stuff. If Tene agrees, then I'm not bothered by them and do not see them as too overly powerful.

If that Clint and Nat thing is too much for people, btw, I can take that out. I mostly think they helped kind of unlocked that part of his brain. Definitely the pistol proficiency is all his talent. I'd like to think the rest were things that they taught him the basics of and let him work on his own proficiency with them. I'll have to read my thing over again [because i have terrible memory] but I think I wrote that he's okay at using most firearms, but he's most comfortable with pistols and second most comfortable with sniper rifles. Anything else I can make him kind of awful at or just like, he can use them but not incredibly well.

I'll defer to the both of you, though. If you guys are cool with it, I'm totally cool with it too. I figured since he doesn't really have powers aside from being enhanced in a few things (kind of like Natasha is) like his perception and reflex, I should make up for it in some other things. I tried to balance it according to everyone else's powers and I hope I did well enough. D;

Nah, you're fine. I read them over more than once because my memory is shit too, and you did state that he isn't that great with other weapons but sniper rifles and pistols. As for Clint and Nat, that's okay, too. He's fine, he's approved, stop sweating it!

Starting my second semester at the end of August. Goooo college! Whoo! Putting ourselves in debt for a degree that might not mean shit, yes!

At least, I'll be out of a job for a while. Majoring in film, minoring in theatre. Sooooo, yeah.
