But ya see that's what has me now confused, I'm not going after the Hulk per say but rather rewriting it so an incarnation of the She-Hulk comes BEFORE the Hulk. The Hulk is still technically up for grabs.

Anyways like I said before, this is the profile I'll submit if Spider-Man DOES NOT GET ACCEPTED. Repeat if my Spider-Man profile from earlier doesn't get the go ahead, I'm submitting this in its place.

Character Origin & Backstory: The son of Stark Industries CEO William Stark, and his wife Michelle. Tony grew up surrounded in the lap of luxury, but also by making sure he kept his head in the ground. Tony never saw a dime of the family fortune until he was around 9. When on his birthday he finally started to see the wealth come his way. Especially when it came to the fact Tony would usually end up getting to use and have most of Stark Industries’ newest tech items.

Tony growing up was a proud young man, and he wasn’t afraid to show it. He was always able to somehow get the center of attention, even when he wasn’t even trying. Made all the worst that his genius intellect made it easier for him to have plenty to boast about. Even still, with all the bragging and big talk, Tony clearly had the gentleness and compassion his father hoped he would. By the time Tony Stark reached high school he was already being prepared by his father to inherit Stark Industries. However, when Tony, along with his mother and father, all traveled out to Japan to complete a business merger. The plane suffered sudden damage and crash landed at Tokyo’s airport. Michelle Stark killed from shrapnel, and Tony very badly injured, having piece of metal lodged into his chest. Already hysterical from the lost of his wife William Stark took matters into his own hand. Taking Tony to the nearest hospital, and having a special emergency surgery done. As William had with him a special compact energy core, knowing it might be the only surefire solution to save Tony. He spent almost nine hours in surgery putting the core into Tony, and having it operate to keep the shrapnel inside of Tony from puncturing his heart.

Still, the damage had been done. Heartbroken over the loss of his wife William fell into a deep hole of depression. Resorting to drinking and becoming unfit to run Stark Industries, the higher ups of the company came together and were shocked to realize that William had put in provisions not long ago. Which gave Tony Stark full CEO control over the company. Many scoffed the idea, some even took Tony to court over it. However none of it mattered as Tony was now in charge of the business.

William Stark died from alcohol poisoning shortly after the news broke. But Tony could remember the last time he saw his father. Drunk, beshoveled, and in tears, however it was what his father told him that stuck. When Tony tried to pleaded with his father to change the ruling around so he wouldn’t be CEO anymore. His father looked at him, and even in his drunken stupor told him that it was no accident. Tony Stark was ready to be a CEO, no matter the age, or what anyone said. He believed in his heart Tony was ready.

Tony grieved for the lost of his father, but quickly turned face knowing he had business to do. As all this happened Stark Industries’ stock prices plummeted, and became a joke with its new young CEO. Tony Stark quickly called a press conference, both to serve as a eulogy for his mother and father, but as a clear as day statement that he would take the responsibility seriously, and that he wouldn’t let anyone or anything soil his family’s name. That, along with Tony quickly having the company put out amazing new prototypes. Helped accelerate Stark Industries back from embarrassment in people’s eyes.

Tony Stark now a days leads an interesting life, one half of the day taking care of his high schooling, which has seen his grades drop a bit since everything happened. While the rest of the time handled as much as he could of the company, otherwise he would have his father’s right hand man, James Rhodes, handle the workload. However recently, Tony Stark has started looking into the core his father put into him. Realizing its energy potential, but most of all. What kind of a system he could make with it.
Powers and Abilities (What can you're character do? What can't they do?): By himself, Tony can’t do a whole heck of a lot besides be snarky and lovable. However the biggest power Tony possesses lays in his Mark III armored suit.



With as much tender loving care Tony could put into it, along with repulsor rays in the boots and hands, allowing for both flight and combat capibilities, uni-beam projector in its chest (controlling the full range of the electromagnetic spectrum from blinding searchlights to cutting lasers), pulse bolts that pick up kinetic energy along the way, so that they hit harder the further they have to travel, an electromagnetic pulse generator and energy shield, the generation of ultra-freons, the creating and manipulating of magnetic fields, sonic blasts, and a holographic generator to create decoys. Plus guided missiles Tony had to work his ass off to get for the project.

On top of the energy core in his chest, the suit is powers through solar rays cleverly hidden in the back. The suit gives him a superhuman strength, and the ability to withstand impact of both kinetic or explosive kind. On top of all this Tony has the helmet tuned to his personal assistant AI Jarvis (Named after a family butler who passed away when Tony was 10), and also functions as a top of the line computer. Storing data that is all voice and mind activated. Plus it has an MP3 player, 1tb worth, because sometimes he just needs some tunes when kicking ass.

“Look Rhodes, just tell them that if the new smartphone designs aren’t ready by CES then that means we will be at a disadvantage, and we being at a disadvantage is a bad thing. I get that this is all coming up a little sudden on them, but… if they can finish the prototypes by CES tell them they’ll each get a 1,000 dollar bonus in their next paycheck. From my account too, none of that from the company funding. Cool, look I’m going to the mansion for a bit, you got everything at HQ? Good good, I’ll be over tomorrow and we can figure out what I’m going to say at the presentation, how we’ll present the mark suit, and which luxury suite we’re staying in. I’m still going on that one at the Palms that place was sweet. Hey, hey, don’t make me come over there and give you the pouty eyes about this. You don’t want the pouty eyes. Alright fine we can talk about this tomorrow. Chao.”

Tony Stark sighed as he finally ended the call, stomping out of the high school as he shook his head and closed his eyes from behind expensive Oakley shades. Things at Starks Industries have been chaotic about the Consumer Electronics Expo in Vegas coming up in two weeks. They had a lot of things to present, but most of all Tony Stark was going to have the Mark III combat suit make its public debut. A lot was riding on that, Tony knew it deep down.

While the rest of the school’s students went to their cars or to the buses. Tony took another route, slipping over to the school’s football field. Glancing around for the coast to be clear before he slipped his shades off. Putting them into his pants pockets and adjusting the backpack slung over his shoulders before reaching over and pushing a secret activation switch on the bottom of the bag.

Quickly the backpack sprung to life, its mechanical limbs going down his arms and legs. Covering them in red and yellow painted metal. Finally coming around his chest and up to his head. Where the face cover slipped over. “All systems go.” The gentle english voice rang into Tony’s ear. “Excellent, GPS me to the mansion, and start the mp3 player, eh… lets go with The Prodigy to start.” Tony responded. As the thumping bass of ‘Breathe’ kicked in the helmet. Tony got the repulsor rays working to lift him up off of the grass field. Burning it in the process as Tony mentally realized his going to have to pay up for that tomorrow morning first thing. As Tony rose up into the air he got himself taking off to his mansion. Looking like a humanoid jet fighter zooming through the skies too quick for most below to process it. All the while Tony smiled from under the helmet. The world had no idea what was about to hit it.

Well this is awkward....I actually started writing up a CS redo on the Hulk that shifts him from a Primary to a (possibly) Secondary character.Basically, I'm planning a "What If...?" set-up where instead of Banner becoming the Hulk, Betty becomes the She-Hulk through the same gamma incident as Bruce. Assuming that's an OK move in this Universes context?

Well... Why don't we do both? How about your She-Hulk comes from an alternate dimension? It happened in the comics... Only that She-Hulk was a slut that shagged anything that could move a mountain, Such as Hercules and Juggernaut. Actually, that would work perfectly with my Hulk. You see, i was planning on him starting out with a Gray Hulk that is completely uncontrollable, but at the end of his first arc, he creates a formula that will mellow the Hulk out and allow him partial control, which is when he becomes green. Perhaps he could get cornered and almost captured, before Shulk jumps in and saves his ass. Then, he uses some of her blood to try and devise the patch for the Hulk Formula? They are found just as he injects himself and turns green...

Profit or non-profit, that wasn't your work to copy. It's the same as wikipedia-ing an article and publishing it as a school book report. You are actively claiming another person's hard work as your own with minimum effort.

If you can get those CSes straightened out to a good standard you'll still have a potential place here.

Character: She-Hulk

Aliases/Nicknames: Elizabeth “Betty” Ross

Character Origin:

Betty is the only daughter of Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross and her mother Sharon Ross. While Sharon encouraged Betty’s inquisitiveness and curiosity as child, Thaddeus sought to quell these traits and shape her as one would a soldier. This led to Betty becoming resentful and rebellious against her father as she reached her teens. One night, while out looking for her wayward daughter, Sharon was blindsided by another driver and killed. The death of her mother crippled her emotionally and Thaddeus dealt with the loss of his wife by tightening his grip on his daughter.

Betty graduated from New York University with a BScs and PhD in Science, particularly in atomic and radiation sciences, where upon she began looking for work to try and escape her father once and for all. After some contract work with S.H.I.E.L.D. to garner experience, she was contacted by one Stephen Lang through her father, who required a specialist consultant in gamma radiation for some governmental testing experiments. Betty accepted the job, not knowing that Stephen Lang was a part of the Purifiers, the anti-mutant terrorist organisation and was intending to use gamma radiation to “cure” mutants involuntarily. When she began working for Lang, she met an outspoken, confident fellow consultant, who after a time, she began to fall for, as did he for her.

On the eve of the 1st test of the gamma screener, Lang revealed his intentions with the inclusion of a restrained Epsilon level mutant teenager in the test chamber. Upon learning of this and the fact that the teenager may not even survive the test, Betty immediately tried to end the experiment but the sequence was locked. In a desperate attempt, she tried to free the mutant inside the chamber. She was successful but was knocked to the ground by the mutant as he escaped. As the gamma screener fired and she faced her death, she thought about how Lang could have done this, how she hadn’t asked her companion out on a date, how her father had helped put her in this situation and how she felt about herself at all this, how angry she was……

Betty realised that if this was Heaven, then it was cold, wet and felt very much like grass. She had awoken in a field, with no idea where she was, how she had gotten there and was naked aside from her favourite purple yoga pants. She made her way to the nearest town, “borrowing” a shirt on the way. While in a local diner, she learned from the T.V. news that a large, green skinned creature described as a “hulk”, had destroyed the Lang Labs and fled the scene. All attempts to reason had been met with solid rage and anger. Betty knew that it had been her, changed from her gamma exposure. She had to get away from the diner, the town, the area, from people…

Not much is known exactly in the interim year that Betty disappeared. She has travelled the world, looking to control the “She-Hulk” inside her and hopefully, find a cure. She has learned that anger induces the transformation and that it is possibly a result of supressed anger from her mother’s death and her father’s suffocating control that she never dealt with. She has also learned that, due to her other “incidents” across the world, a group known as the HulkBusters has been set up and is, unbeknownst to her, headed by her estranged father, Thunderbolt, who does not know the creature is actually his daughter (due to the other consultant being knocked unconscious during the commotion in Lang Labs and Lang claiming she perished and that the creature is a mutant menace) and blames it for his daughter’s death. Betty has since returned to the States in a desperate bid to contact the one man who may be able to help her, her fellow consultant……one Dr. Robert Bruce Banner.

Powers and Abilities:
As She-Hulk:

1. Superhuman Strength: According to reports from the Hulkbusters, the She-Hulk has been capable of astronomical feats of power and strength. One operative in a debriefing is quoted in saying “…the angrier She got, the stronger She got!” So far, no official limit on her strength has been assigned, not after the New Mexico incident.
2. Regeneration and Durability: Her endurance and healing has also been significantly increased, with injuries Betty receives being healed as she changes. She can also take a large about of punishment, being hit with rockets, mortars and even an orbital Arc weapon and she has still kept coming
3. Below Average Intelligence: Like an unleashed caged animal, the initial transformation into the She-Hulk was one of uncontrolled rage and anger for Betty. Since then, with subsequent transformations, She-Hulk has begun unconsciously tapping Betty’s knowledge for new skills including the ability to speak coherently and reason to some degree.
4. Other: Resist psychic control, radiation absorption.
As Betty Ross:

1. Military Knowledge: Despite her heart being in the pursuit of scientific knowledge, her father forced her to undergo military and strategic training before she attended college and as a result, this knowledge has benefited her from evading the Hulkbusters and, in some way, the She-Hulk in fighting them.

Weaknesses:

1. The Change: While Betty has tried to restrain her emotions and control them, they can still build in her until the She-Hulk bursts out and in these events, the She-Hulk is filled with uncontrollable rage and can attack anyone and anything in reach.
2. Mental state: Both the mental state of Betty and the She-Hulk are both fragile. The She-Hulk, when in “control” is paranoid of others, brutally aggressive and an isolationist. While one would think these are separate feelings from Betty, the truth is that they are the same and shared with Betty. She too is paranoid, but of herself and what she may do to others if she changes, she is aggressive in her goal to rid herself of the She-Hulk and she feels isolated because she wants to be, so she can’t hurt anyone else.
3. Gas Attack: She-Hulk can be temporarily subdued with intense attacks with chemical weapons such as anesthetic gases but can recover quickly if exposure is uninterrupted.

Equipment:
Stretch pants and tube top: Made of a very elastic material, Betty is conscious of her body while in She-Hulk form and as a result, has taken precautions to keep herself decent.

Why do I want to play this character?:
I think it would be interesting to see how similar events would turn out if a different character was exposed to them. In this case, the role reversal of Betty Ross and Bruce Banner seemed like a good story to mess about with. Also exploring the unique relationship between the Hulk and a different character to Banner has several interesting concepts when a different personality is in play. Finally (and not to sound sexist), the main point of the Hulk’s persona is based on emotion and changing the character to a woman will have an impact on their emotional state.

What do I plan on doing with the character:
I plan on having the She-Hulk experience similar situations as Banner did, but have them play out differently now that there is a different character. This, of course, will affect the rogue gallery. Perhaps the Leader is an old roommate friend of Bettys who was jealous of her looks a la Single White Female, learns she’s the She-Hulk and tries to become like her, turning her into the Leader (or something similar). She is also going to be the one of the powerhouses of the Universe, at least for the time being.
