I think we should go with the Saudi Arabian empire as the man baddies for the first roleplay. France being the more powerful and leader of the World Revolutionary Powers (WRP), the main antagonists, would be better suited as the main threat later on. Perhaps Great Britain would be the main ones fighting France while the US would be more involved in the middle east. They'd probably need a powerful ally over there...India, Isreal, maybe Egypt? However, I don't see Egypt surviving long against the empire, as they Empire has spread into Africa so they must have already defeated Egypt in the process. I doubt China is on the US's side so they are out of the question. China might even be with the WRP.

How about Isreal? They're small, but they pack a punch.

I wonder if we could even get to Isreal from the west because we'd have to pass by France and they'd surely have ships around to fend us off. Therefore, we'd probably have to go by land by passing through Africa. Our best invasion could be from the Indian Ocean, although we wouldn't be able to directly support Isreal that way.

That makes it work well. Israel is already surrounded by countries that hate it IRL, so if it was working on the side of getting the Y chromosome strong again, but nobody can get to it, it brings up points of interesting possible conflicts.

In real life they are the only country with mandatory female service requirements for the military (at least if Wikipedia is to be believed). That's fitting for them in this alternate universe to be more important and powerful then a lot of other countries. They were already one step ahead of the game before it even began. They are still no match for the empire, but they are at least powerful enough to survive while other countries lead by the US are planning an invasion to aid them.

Right. Israel also has quickly advancing technology, so I figured they could be ahead of the game in terms of science, while still able to resist the Arabian empire.

Maybe a slave in the Grand Arabian Empire? During an invasion he could make an escape attempt.

EDIT: Here's a temporary map to show in general who's in what. However, it's subject to change, especially if you see something that should be pointed out. I'm thinking of having more Asian nations joining the WRP, although that might tip the balance too far in their favor. Maybe it could be a united Asian alliance type thing with China in the lead.

They are so tiny on the map that they'd just be a dot you can't see in between the red and purple lines.

So far the only mainland European country I have with the allies is Germany. The rest got taken over or willingly joined unless you guys want otherwise. It would be hard to outline all of the individual countries based on alliance so I'd probably need a map just of certain continents.
