[IC] Secret Mission (Magarafoxfire and Drakon)

[Drakon rilt]

The leader smirked, "come on boys we did enough damage we'll deal with the water ninja next time we come and next time we'll destroy this place then break him ." They vanished while the other ninja were trying to get the fire out, Kylar was lying on the bed his breathing hard .

[MegaraFoxfire]

Megumi lowered her blade and muttered " not if I can help it..." She waved her hand and her wolves started to put the flames out. She didn't move, thinking deeply

[Drakon rilt]

"That jutsu did a lot of damage and drained him of most of his chakra even if you try to heal him megumi his body will reject it and hurt him more," the mizukage said as he landed by megumi. "It's gonna be awhile before we can get this village repaired all the way. "

Megumi frowned and her grip on her blade tightened. "Why didn't he wait for me...I could have helped..." She didn't look at him as she asked "where would the ninja go? Do we know where their base is?"

[Drakon rilt]

The mizukage shook his head, "we don't know where there base is and if Kylar waited for you to recover then I would be dead right now and he knew that it was either stay with you and let me die or come here and fight to keep me alive. Considering that it was a hard choice for him, but since he thinks of me like a father he came here."

She still didn't turn as she said "this is my fault...if I had healed faster..." She put her katana away and said "I'm going to see if I can track them"

The mizukage shook his head, "megumi it's not your fault Kylar's hurt and your going out to track them. Knowing Kylar once he wakes up and hears about that you left without him he'll go after you in his weakened state he wouldn't care as long as he knew you were safe it's an emotion that I can see in his body language when he senses you near him I just can't believe you haven't figured that out yet."

Megumi turned to him, tears streaming down her face. "I'm a monster! I don't deserve the life I have. I have been trying to protect others. And I failed this time...I don't want him to suffer anymore..." She covered her face, crying into her hands and falling to her knees

[Drakon rilt]

The mizukage kneeled down in front of her , "megumi your no monster you haven't been, if Kylar lost you....that would be what breaks him losing you would be the worst agony he has ever gone through. He doesn't see his past as him suffering, he thinks of it as hardships that have made him stronger. If he lost you megumi the ninja in him you see now would be gone from him."

She shook her head and said "I don't deserve it....I never have...all I'm good at is killing and pain...I couldn't even keep him safe...I'm a demon..." She kept her face covered, crying into her hands

"Megumi your not a demon listen to yourself, Kylar knows you can't keep him safe from danger he already knows that, plus he doesn't think of anything more of you than the megumi he knows and trusts with his life. Stop blaming yourself for everything that goes wrong, Kylar knew he would put the mist at risk if he left, but he did anyway to be with you. Once he knew you would recover he came back here. Your no demon to him you bring no pain to him and you don't destroy him, he just thinks of you as the girl he met that would be his partner and a person he loves."

She lifted her head, looking at him. "Me?...but I'm....I'm not..."

"megumi I see it in his body language every time he senses you near him, he loves you I don't know how long he has loved you but im surprised you never caught on." The mizukage looked back at the hospital, "right now hes in the hospital its up to you to go and see him or not megumi im not forcing you."

Megumi wiped her eyes and got up,vanishing with her shadows. She appeared in his room, sitting down and taking his hand. "Kylar..."

[Drakon rilt]

Kylar groaned a bit, as he turned his body to face megumi, but he was still asleep. He took a lot out of himself in that fight, and that last jutsu had put his body in pain.

She held his hand in both of hers, tears running down her face. "I wish I could help you somehow...I'm sorry I failed you..."

[Drakon rilt]

Kylar sensed megumi near him and heard her words, "you didn't fail me......megumi you didn't......you were still.....recovering." Kylar said in a weak tone, his body hurt still, but he could speak.

She looked up and said "kylar....I'm so sorry...I should have...should have..."

[Drakon rilt]

Kylar gives her a weak smile, "its all right....megumi....i'll be alright." He links there fingers together.

She lowered her head, the tears flowing again. She sat there quietly, her head against their hands
