Though she’s warm and welcoming to her friends and family, she’s very demanding of her team and at times can come off a bit condescending. She pushes herself to excellence and expects nothing less from those that serve next to her on the battlefield. She’s had very few love interest in her life and tries at best to keep it that way, not too terribly interested in loving and loosing – again.

History: Growing up just six hours north of Justice in Santa Maria, CA, Lauren had a good life, one filled with surf boards and long days at the beach. Excelling at school was difficult for her, but eventually after a few run in’s with the wrong crowd and watching her younger sister’s life diminish in front of her eyes she removed herself from everything and focused on getting ahead. Her only regret in life lay in a memory of a night of passion that should’ve have occurred and left her a bit more scarred than she’d ever admit to anyone, herself included.

Graduating in the middle of her class from WestPoint she opted to bypass the need the military presented and moved instead into Special Forces with a branch of the FBI, hoping to work her way up to one day return home and create some semblance of life. Her driving force behind her career choices was the disappearance of her sister and the devastation it brought her family. She’d forever look for Allison in the faces of people as they passed by her, her goal to find something to close the case for good if even for nothing more than a peace offering to their mother.

She performed well within the Special Forces, spending 5-6 years bringing down hardened criminals and locating various syndicates across the United States. With the news of continued struggle coming from the dwindling few left in Justice, California, her commander gave her the opportunity to serve there or head overseas to her next mission. With little choice and lots of heart she decided to move back toward her place of origination and call in a few old friends to shift the odds in Justice for the good guys.

The offer on the table is one full of challenge and focused on victory.

Personality: Kevin is dedicated to his job and making sure that the rules are followed (but that doesn’t mean he won’t bend one every so often in the pursuit of justice). He has seen to many criminals walk out of a court room on technicalities and it crushes him when it does. Kevin is not above being physical when it comes to the job, but he won’t allow that to override his judgment. He believes in forming bonds and being loyal to those that he works with, because in a tough situation they are all you got to count on. Kevin possesses a razor sharp wit that he uses as often as a truck driver uses their driver’s license.

Kevin though is not obsessed with his job though. He cares very much for his children, and despite the fact that they’re divorced he still loves Anne. Kevin is a sports fan and finds his release from the stress of the job through working out. He is also a practicing Roman Catholic and his Faith and Beliefs help form the core of who he is, but he’ll be the first to admit he does have a hypocrisy streak that shows up from time to time and won’t force his religious beliefs on others.

History: Kevin McBride was a graduate of the FBI (class of 1999) and took to his job as a field agent like a fish to water. Rising up through the ranks and while he was in the agency he met Anne Wilton who worked in the records department. The two fell in love, got married, and had two children. Kevin was one of the top agents especially when it came to their gun running operations and was on his way up to an administrative post until one arrest changed everything.

Kevin and those under his command were taking down a major gun running operation, and one of the key figures was Darren Stenson. Darren’s father was Senator Eric Stenson a very powerful person in the American Political Landscape. He tried to “encourage” Kevin to look the other way concerning his son, but Kevin would hear nothing of it and Darren was convicted on 9 felony counts including the attempted murder of a Federal Agent (Kevin).

Senator Stenson vowed to make Kevin pay for what he did. The stress of the hearings into an alleged mishandling of the case, Stenson leading the charge for budgetary cut-backs and an investigation into the FBI began to take a toll on Kevin’s career. The stress became too much and Kevin was ready to resign, but his supervisor Lamar Wilkins had an idea. He was close friends with the Mayor of Justice Andrea Valens. In the city of Justice, California there was a new and violent gang taking hold led by Brian Jagielski and another family that no one seems to have a fix on. She appealed to her friend Lamar for help, and Lamar helped her and the Police Administration create the Multi-Jurisdictional Task Force on Organized Crime and had Kevin stationed in the MCU. Lamar saw this as way to not only help out an old friend and to save Kevin’s career, but with him all the way in California Senator Stenson wouldn’t be able to hurt his career anymore. Kevin was to be the liaison between the FEDS and the Police, to assist where needed by Captain Tryner, and answers only to Commissioner Callen, but Kevin views Tryner as his superior and will rarely if ever pull the "I'm not really one of yours so I don't have to listen to you" card and respects her authority. Kevin realizes he screws up here that his career is over so he doesn't want to anger the Captain. Kevin is classified as being undercover with his cover being that of a journalist. Only The Mayor, Tryner, and Callen know his true identity

Personality:
Ben Jagielski is a product of an unhealthy environment and it shows throughout his personality. As a child, Ben was very close and protective of his ailing mother and incredibly fearful of his emotionally and physically abusive father. He desperately would seek both approval and help from his older brother Brian which he never ever really received. By the time his mother died, Ben had grown into a calloused, alienated and self-destructive young man. Void of empathy and unable to control his emotion, the young man didn’t think twice about killing his father. Additionally, more than likely because of the close relationship he held with his mother, Ben’s romantic relationships are often intense and he possesses a grandiose idea of love. Charismatic with an affable demeanour, he is known for his subtle wit and humour. Laid back and lackadaisical, Ben can often be seen as a consternation for his friends and relatives. However when it is time for him to do work for the family, it is like he switches off all emotion and becomes a man as cold as ice. Incredibly loyal to his blood, for Ben it is family above all.

History:
The youngest Jagielski born to Louis and Lillian, Ben was supposed to be the perfect son. However not long after his birth, Lillian was diagnosed with terminal lung cancer and was given maybe three or four years. Bravely, she lasted a further eight and Ben stuck by her side for the entirety of it. She cared and looked after him like a real mother should, nurturing him and making sure he was going to grow up a good person. Sadly, Lillian passed away a month shy of Ben’s birthday and left him in the care of his malicious father. Louis had a habit of beating his boys, Brian and Ben, with his leather belt, counting every time he hit them. On a good day it would be maybe five welps, on a bad…it was close and up to a hundred. Brian did his best to protect little Ben from the attacks but in the end, it was to no avail.

Unlike his older brother Brian who let all of his rage out in glorious bursts, Ben took his anger and internalized it to the point where he could barely find it. In fact, most of the emotion that a normal person would feel in the situation Benjamin found himself in was buried so deep inside himself that it became virtually non-existent. Around other people, he was a kind, selfless, funny and charming young man. At home, Ben was cold as ice. Rarely a glimmer of emotion crossed his face and his blue eyes were always dead, no sign of anything inside them. No conscience, no soul. He graduated high school and headed off to college in Carolina, a welcome escape.

Eventually however, Ben returned to Justice and began working at a local hospital, a bit of a change from his families usual place on the docks. That said, his ice cold demeanour allowed Ben to do the things others in his family could not. The worse of which was putting a blade to his father’s throat and dragging it leftwards. Brian may be the brains behind the Jagielski syndicate but it is through Ben’s emotional detachment from the world that they thrive.

Despite a rough upbringing, Owen is a brave and noble man who will stand by his friends no matter what. The bonds made in war are the strongest of all in his mind. A dedicated soldier, Owen would follow an order to a T but he could not however abide an order if one of his comrades was in trouble. The safety of another would be the only reason he ever disobeyed an order. A bit of a showoff, Owen isn’t overly arrogant but he does like to flaunt things in others faces but it is generally just in good fun. He is quick witted, always up for a laugh and joke and has the uncanny ability to find the humour in most situations. On the flip side of a normally easy going nature, Owen is prone to fits of anger, especially after a failure. His experiences in war have left him not only physically but mentally scarred as well. He suffers severe night terrors and occasionally has episodes of post-traumatic stress. He didn’t really join the police to protect and serve, Owen was a soldier and he needed a war to fight, even if it wasn’t his.

History:

Born and raised on the streets of Justice, California, Owen York was very lucky to get out alive. He never knew his father, his mother was an Old Town girl and his dad was obviously one of many punters who often visited her. Owen was raised amongst the girls along with a half-sister named Amanda, he became extremely protective of women. Before he reached his early teens, Owen’s mother had finally scraped enough money together to leave Old Town. The small family didn’t really move to anywhere better but they sure as shit didn’t go anywhere worse.

In this new neighbourhood, Amanda met her future best friend Lauren Tryner. Owen was instantly head over heels in love with Lauren but whenever he thought he had a shot, she always found someone else to make her smile. A high school athlete and chess champion, Owen was both brains and brawn but he could never truly apply himself to school work, he wasted his potential, something his teachers would often write home about. Another thing they would write about would be the young man’s predisposition for violence. Owen had a nasty temper and too often it would show itself. One evening at a party, he saw Lauren’s boyfriend grab her arm roughly, so Owen put his face through a tv screen. He walked her home and that night she took his virginity and his love for her only grew. However, both knew a relationship wouldn’t last at that point so they left it at that.

After narrowly graduating, Owen enlisted in the army and finally he had a place to thrive. He served with distinction for ten years until he was shot in abdomen. The army medics advised him that he could no longer fight and thusly discharged him with honour and sent him own. With no job prospects and back in the city he ran away from, Owen was despondent. Until he heard the news that the JCPD was recruiting in order to increase their war on crime. In this moment, Owen realised that he was a soldier born; he needed a war to fight. He signed up the next day and over the next few years, made his way up to detective. Ever since leaving the army, Owen has struggled to reconnect with society and has been on leave for several months after an PTSD episode that resulted in him shooting up a squad car. Then he receives a visit from an old friend, asking him to join a task force with the sole objective of bringing down the Jagielski syndicate.

The soldier was ready for another tour of battle…

Personality:
Brian is an intensely prideful, egotistical and megalomaniacal man but one who is also deeply insecure. More so it is his pride above all else that drives and controls him. He is a ruthless, dangerous and amoral man who is willing to ruin and even end lives not just for great riches, but also and most importantly, to nourish his own massive ego. Brian more frequently uses the concept of family as a justification for his actions. He wants respect, and wishes to seek revenge against the society that screwed him over, undervalued his worth, and overlooked his potential. Brian does what he does to give himself a sense of worth and pride, and he justifies his murderous greed by claiming he's just doing it for the good of his loved ones even as he pushes them away. Underneath that thinly veiled altruistic excuse is a naked desire to dominate others for the sake of unfettered growth and power.

History:
The first born son of Louis and Lillian, Walter Brian Jagielski was raised for the first few years of his life in a place nicknamed Bodymore, Murderland. Things in the household were normal for a time, until the Baltimore docks became an unstable place of work. With the vast changes of the economy, shipping just wasn’t cutting it so Louis moved his young family to California , more specifically a town called Justice. His older brother lived out there with his family and at the time it made sense. had Not long after he began working there did Louis transform into a violent man, stress completely consumed him and when he wasn’t working, he was either at the bar with the other long shoremen or beating his sons with the leather belt.

Twelve years older than his second youngest brother, Brian tried but failed to connect with him, so in turn he became close with his cousin Isaac who was a similar age. It became apparent early on that Isaac was destined for bigger things than the Justice docks. He was shrewd and intelligent, whilst Brian who was probably just as intelligent, was more brutish and angry. The young Polack spent much of his time in the boxing gym where he won a Golden Gloves tournament. It was a great way to keep his rage in check. Brian and Isaac began running small smuggling operations from the docks as teenagers, using their fathers pull to get into important shipments. Soon however, Isaac was off to college and Brian was left holding the basket so to speak. He began actually working the docks that summer.

Several years later, after one beating too many, Brian’s anger got the best of him and he asked his little brother Ben to kill their dad, something Ben did without a second thought. Realising the power he had over people, Brian got back in touch with Isaac, now a councilman for Justice and the two began to rebuild an empire. When Isaac became Mayor, the Jagielski’s future was looking up but now in the big seat, Isaac lost view of his family. When he was assassinated by the Freelancer’s, Brian seized the opportunity to take control of the family. Now three years on, the Jagielski boys are the most feared and respected gang in the city. Thanks in no small part, to the brutality that Brian has brought to the table.

Personality: Eddie loves his job and being around cars. Some believe that the first words out of his mouth were “crank shaft.” He is an easy going and pretty relaxed guy with a smile always on his face, but the minute he sets foot in a garage area easy going Fast Eddie is gone. He is replaced by a perfectionist who is a task master focused on nothing but making a car work the way it should. Eddie demands perfection in his work and those who work with him in the shop.

In his personal life Eddie is kinda quiet doesn’t get too worked up again very easy going and laid back with a smile. He believes in the power of friendship and loyalty and expects others to adhere to that code as well. If you ever cross him Eddie rarely offers a second chance and it usually means you’ve made your last mistake. Eddie doesn’t talk about his family much, but there are those quiet moments he regrets that they don’t have a close bond.

History: Eddie Carlson grew up in a nice middle class of San Francisco but it was a house of cards. His dad was the manager of a car dealership, but a car thief on the side where he made his real money. His mom was a hair stylist who was very naïve to what her husband did for a living. When Barbara found out she divorced Donny and took the kids, but she never said what he did to the children. Barbara got remarried and they all moved to Arizona, but Eddie missed his father to the point that Barbara sent him to live with his father.

Donny didn’t have a lot of time to be a good dad, but Donny discovered that Eddie had a natural gift of working on and with cars. To the point that by the time he turned 10 Eddie could strip down an engine and rebuild it without any problems. Donny got Eddie a job at the dealership during the weekends and summers in the garage and Eddie took to it like a fish to water. However Eddie wanted a closer relationship with his father, but Donny didn’t want one because he didn’t want Eddie to know what he did, and eventually Donny left town for reasons unknown but Eddie was 18 so it didn’t matter . Eddie began running with one of the local street gangs the Golden Dragons. Eddie learned how to steal, fight, and survive on the streets. Eddie also learned that his gift with cars could be an asset for the Dragons as he began stealing cars for them. Until one day he got careless and got caught whereby he was sentenced to 20 years in prison.

One day a lawyer visited Eddie in prison. He said that he represented the Jagielski family and wondered if Eddie was interested in working for them, because they were looking for a private specialized mechanic and a low level soldier and they heard Eddie was the best there was. Eddie pointed out that current circumstances were an issue, but the lawyer laughed and told Eddie there was a loophole that could not only get Eddie out but also get his record cleaned off. The lawyer also told him that his shop would be state of the art built to his specs, he could pick his own crew to work for him, and the only time he would go out on a job/hit would be in a back up role. . All they asked of Eddie was loyalty and they and their allies would be his only clients. Eddie smiled and nodded slowly. Within 24 hours Eddie was a free man and even got a letter of apology from the courts.

Personality:
Edwin is a self-centered man, fueled by his ambition to reach the top of the ATF Agency. Due to his ambition, he is a deceptive and manipulative liar, often lying to those closest to him and his colleagues for his own benefit. He lacks any type of empathy whatsoever and cares little about who he crosses and who gets hurt as a result of his actions, infact it could even be said he enjoys toying with people, using them to his advantage before leaving them with the mess he leaves behind, or sacrificing them in order to ensure his success.

Edwin has already 'solved' several major cases through his unconventional, and sometimes straight-up illegal tactics and with every case, his ego inflates as he grows bolder and bolder in what he is willing to do in order to 'win'. Yet with every case he 'solves', he leaves seems to leave a horrific mess in his wake that the local police forces are ultimately burdened with.

Although he always appears to be inflated with his ego, extremely cocky and arrogant, he is in truth a coward. Whilst he is not afraid of a gunfight, he is certainly fearful of being alone in one without his support team. It is likely that if he were ever caught alone in a gunfight, or in a gunfight he believes he cannot win, he would flee as soon as possible. Likewise, were he ever captured, he would simply resort begging for his life and would most likely give up any information he had in the hopes of surviving.

History:
Edwin was born in Washington DC. With his father being a lawyer and his mother a judge on a US District Court, it was clear from a young age that he would likely pursue a career in law. His life was relatively uneventful in childhood, and after attending Harvard Law School, he decided to join the ATF (Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives)

Somewhat overqualified for the job, Edwin was placed on a fast-track scheme within the bureau and whilst he initially gained rank quickly, he was soon to hit a standstill. After being granted his own team and relative freedom to pursue cases of his own choosing, Edwin failed to make ends meet for the bureau and ultimately after a string of failures, he was removed from the scheme, having failed to impress his superiors and ensure continued results for the bureau. Threatened with the removal of his team, and being one of the only agents within the bureau to be removed from a fast-track scheme, he was merely regarded as a failure. Up to this point, Edwin had used methods solely within the boundaries of the law when dealing with organized crime. Driven by his ambition, and his embarrassment of being removed from the scheme, he resolved to use whatever means necessary to redeem himself.

Whilst he initially only used methods such as blackmail or bribery, which were already common practice within the bureau, he quickly began to find himself further and further away from the law, as his team began going so far as to directly threaten criminals through their families and even their own lives. The methods, whilst morally reprehensible, got the results he needed. Edwin, whilst originally an agent operating by the book, has found himself using every method aside from the ones the law allows in order to further his own career. He even began using his colleagues and local police forces in order to ensure all credit went directly to him and his team of equally crooked agents. It is certainly not out of Edwins nature to even find one of his colleagues killed by a 'random gang attack', should they prove to stand directly in the way of his goals. Nor is it against his nature to frame his colleagues in order to get them out of the picture.

Edwin has been slowly redeeming himself within the bureau for several years, and is now at a turning point. He knows one more major case will get him the promotion he desires, and he has been paying attention to Justice for quite some time, albeit simply waiting for the right time to enter the stage, so to say. The City is ripe with corruption and organized crime, and is thus a goldmine for Edwin. In particular, he has been paying attention to the Jagielski Crime Family and has watched as their criminal activities have grown. He regards them as the 'big fish', and he is certain that if he brings them down, he'll be granted the promotion. Armed with his Federal Documentation, he has finally headed to Justice to bring the organized crime to heel, with his determination and ego at an all time high, it is likely his methods will only be more ruthless than ever as he draws closer and closer to furthering this career...

The best way to describe Edwins' role this season, is as an antagonist on the side of the law. Whilst he is an ATF Agent, and ultimately also attempting to bring down the Jagielski Crime Family, he wants to make sure that he is the one to bring them down in order to further his career. As a result, it is likely that he will operate outside the law and may well lie to the local police forces and manipulate them to get what he wants.

Edwin will have a team with four other ATF Agent NPCs with him, bringing the total number of ATF Agents within Justice to 5, including Edwin.

Personality: Allison is cocky and self-centered, her willingness to extend anything other than cold reckoning is a product of the environment which she’s lived her whole like in. She holds people accountable for their actions and believes that “sorry” is simply the definition of the one uttering the empty word.

Having very few friends allows her to focus on her job and she is completely dedicated and loyal to her boss, Ben Jagielski. She uses humor and sarcasm to keep most at by and does well in her pseudo occupation by keeping up appearances and making the customers chuckle in anticipation of what the girl will do next. Fearless and filled with fury her reactions are anyone’s guess.

History: Growing up just six hours north of Justice in Santa Maria, CA, Allison’s life was one filled with pain and denial. She struggled in school and often found her perfect family a simple reminder that she herself was anything but perfect. Her sister was the all-around American and her parents often reminded her to step it up and be more like Lauren, but truth be told, no one could be Lauren.

Allison defined herself by the trouble she could cause, the fights she could win and the men she could fuck. Living on the streets by the time she was fourteen, she slipped deep into the coma that is narcotics and guns and did whatever needed to be done for her next hit – her next high. Only through the ability to use her rage in the offer that Ben gave her to help him create an empire did she finally pull herself from a stupor and began to focus on something in the waking word.

Her family believes her dead and she plans to keep it that way, going by Scout and having her hair dyed black instead of the once blonde that make it clear that CA was her home and she fit so very well in its grasp. Failing to attend her own funeral was her only regret for to see the pain and suffering on the faces of those that made sure to make her feel that she’d never measure up would be the ultimate joy and comfort in her loneliest of night.

Scott inherited his Mothers soft spoken and quiet nature,he's also Intelligent, Self-Confident but not to the point to where its seen as arrogance, for the most part he's pretty easy going and can get along with most anybody. Scott never really knew his Mother and Father, still a baby when Mother died, he was raised primarily by Nanny's. With two older Brothers to bear the brunt of thier Fathers wrath, Scott rarely, if ever had any interaction with the man. Scott tends to be a bit clueless when it comes to intimate, personal relationships since he grew up not really knowing his Mother and fearful of Father, has a strained relationship with his Brothers given the age difference and the fact he managed to escape incurring their Fathers abusiveness.

History:
Scott grew up loving the game of Baseball, his Nanny would sit him down in front of the TV and turn a game on to keep him occupied while she cleaned and did the laundry. Sandlot ballgames became a way of escape and when Father came home and set after his older Brothers, he'd run out and head for the ball field. As he grew older, afterSchool sports became a way of staying out of the house and away from Father, Scott excelled at football and Lacrosse, but even moreso at Baseball, being named USA Today's High School Baseball Player of the Year his senior year and making USA Today's All-USA High School Baseball Team his Junior and Senior year. After High Scholl graduation Scott accepted a full Athletic Scholarship at UCLA.

Robbie-Ross is continuously described as being sadistic, careless, paranoid, impulsive, emotional, short tempered, volatile, narcissistic, manipulative, jealous, obsessive and competitive. He has little to no regard for human life in general and doesn’t particularly care about his own life either. Vengeful and power-hungry, he will stop at nothing to achieve his ends and remove those who stand in his way. Robbie does not believe that death is a punishment, instead keeping enemies alive so that they will suffer for having betrayed him. He will also place usefulness before pleasure and keeps people alive when it suits his needs. Rarely is it gets made a fool. Rob is scarcely caught off guard or by surprise. He is intelligent, calculating, constantly thinks of contingencies, and he is always two steps ahead of his enemies. Robbie equates sexual dominance with power (as shown by his relationship with Olivia Hutchinson). He is above all else, a vicious animal who is dead set on being the king of the jungle.

History:
Are men born evil? This is a question that has plagued Robert-Ross Holmes since he was a boy. He grew up in a farming family, his parents were good, honest people. They treated Robbie and his younger sister Annabelle with great respect and love and never once raised a hand to them. So why was it then that Robert-Ross turned out like he did? The truth of the matter was that Robert himself wanted to find out. He could find no explanation for the wicked behaviour he had as a child, the impure and dark thoughts he had. Believing the key lay somewhere in his mind, Rob began to study. He graduated high school with honours and left Texas to go study in New York.

It was here that Robert Ross began his first real forays into crime. As he studied psychology and chemistry, he began organising small fight clubs within the university. Quickly he graduated to selling pot and other recreational drugs. The reason behind all of this? To simply see if he could do it and get away with it. Upon his graduation, Robert set up his own clinic in Brooklyn and began working with the DeStefano family to make and then ship drugs. He would often test a new drug on his patients, to see what the effects were. Rob was not above bloodshed and too often he found himself pulling a trigger to ensure his business was safe.

Eventually, he made a move to start supplying drugs in London, however his distributors turned up dead. Heading to the UK himself, Robert cut a deal with the Hutchinson family and began a lust fuelled affair with one of their daughters, Olivia. When Keela Hutchinson and her boyfriend fled, the family were distraught, however Rob managed to keep tabs on the two, just in case he ever needed leverage. Eventually hearing they had settled in Justice, a town where he already had heavy connections. Seeing an opportunity, Robert and his lover soon headed stateside. Keeping their presence quiet, the Rob and Olivia began distributing a new drug known as Orphan Tears and very quickly, their power began to rise.

Liam is a bit of an anomaly for your average beat cop, usually being found with a smile on his face and always with a kind word for those around him. He just oozes compassion and empathy, two traits rarely seen once a cop has spent time on patrol and seen people at their worst on a constant basis. Somehow, through the thankless work and mentally taxing work, Liam retains a youthful and charismatic charm. This often leads him to be the butt of many jokes from others within the force, though it doesn't seem to bother him and he usually is one of the first to laugh.

However, there is another side to this seemingly well mannered and joyful young man, for when the situation calls for focus and grit, look no further than Officer Botwright. His time in the Marines is the answer to this, as his forays in combat and the day to day stressors of military life gifted him with the ability to focus and adopt a no nonsense attitude when shit hit the fan.

History:
Liam grew up with his single mother in the Central Valley of California, Modesto to be exact. He never had much, but what he did have was always more than enough, as even at a young age he could see how much his mother did for him and made sure to always try and make her happy. This feeling of needing to make his mother happy grew and blossomed as time went on, until he enlisted in the Marines after graduating high school. He passed BMT with top marks, earning him a cozy little spot near the front lines, which he of course lied about it to his mother, as he didn't want her to worry more about him more than she already was. He definitely didn't tell her about the insurgents he had killed, nor would he explain the torrent of emotions he felt over the incident to the company doctor.

That experience would lead to him along the path of the rest of his life. Once he came to terms with what he did, not by accepting it as something he had to do, but that by doing so he helped to make the neighborhoods he patrolled safer. He began to think of all the stories back home in Modesto, of police shooting first and acting without remorse. He knew he could be better, he knew that he could make a difference, and hopefully he could help prevent the need for such force. He knew he could do something.

Four years seemed to whisk by, as he found himself back home after being honorably discharged from the Marines. Though his mother protested at first, Liam quickly enrolled in the Police Academy, being on the fast track due to his military experience. In a year he was a full fledged beat cop in Modesto and after a couple years serving there, he discovered he was being transferred to Justice, California. Of course he knew of it's reputation, as well as the new requirement of his mother to call her every day to make sure he was okay, but this didn't stop him from finally feeling as if his opportunity to really do some good had finally shown itself.

Personality: Santiago's personality has been heavily influenced by his dramatic and violent childhood. On the outside, Santiago seems to be perfectly normal. He has a charismatic smile and swagger to his walk. Santiago acts as if he cares when someone decides to tell them something personal, and he can convince the average numb skull to do what he wants most of the time. But that Santiago is only a single side of the coin. On the other side, Santiago is a rage filled, violent man. His outbursts will always leave something broken, and anyone with Santiago when one of these outbursts occurs is in severe danger. While many believe Santiago to have bi-polar disorder, they don't dare tell him upfront. The intelligent ones don't speak of the subject at all.

Mister Moreno, despite his emotional flaws, possesses a sharp mind. When he can’t talk or beat his way out of a situation, Santiago will sober up and start to use the natural intelligence he was gifted at birth. When he decides to actually put this mind of his to work, Santiago can be a force to be reckoned with. The only problem is getting him to actually think. Usually, Santiago’s tactical mind kicks in when the bullets or punches start to fly. On a rare occasion, Santiago will decide to do something extraordinary in the face of an overwhelming problem. Most of the time, he’ll usually decide just to hit something and yell until something changes or he has to change things himself.

History: Santiago was conceived in a time of war and a place of destruction. This place was Columbia, during an increase in FARC activity, especially against civilians. His family did their best to avoid the civil war, and it worked for awhile. But when Santiago was eleven years old, the Moreno family had been pulled into the war as well. Santiago and his brother were kidnapped by the FARC and forced to join their ranks, threatening to kill their families if they didn’t. So the brothers took up arms in a battle they didn’t wish to fight. Being children, the two boys had it impossibly hard during training. Their immature muscles were forced to work over time to keep up. There had been times Santiago had contemplated taking his own life and taking his chances with the afterlife, but Diego had helped his brother through the mess. A few months away from his twelfth birthday, Santiago and his brothers were officially deployed under the FARC flag against the Colombian Liberation Army.

The two of them gained knowledge of war that would have drove most children to insanity. But they fought through it, for the sakes of their family. Santiago mastered the ways of warfare in the jungles of South America and the ruined streets of burnt out cities. Most of it was a complete blur for Santiago. Something he never thought about, as if it had happened to some other person and not himself. But there was one day that stuck out in Santiago’s mind like it had happened the day before. The first day Santiago had been ordered to fire on civilians. Every bone in Santiago’s body told him to turn and run; to drop the gun in his hands. Anything but what he was ordered to do. But he pulled the trigger, and gunned the terrified people down. That was the day Santiago changed into the monster he is today.

Eventually, the two brothers were set free and allowed to return to their family. Santiago had been seventeen when they arrived back at home and were greeted by crying family members. The mixture of joy and sadness that had overwhelmed them all that day finally ended, and they decided to take the next logical step. The Moreno’s moved to the United States to escape the war. They had moved to Topeka, Kansas, to live quiet suburban lives. But Santiago couldn't hold down a normal job for a month before he tried looking for work that better suited him. He found himself employment in a private security company working in The Circuit. The first few jobs were rather dull bodyguard work at private corporations who were a bit too paranoid. Then Santiago started to participate in less legal work. He began to work as a hired gun for big time mob bosses and corporations working under the table. This work brought in a significant amount of income for Santiago, and he spent it wisely and took private schooling classes. Nothing unnecessary or advanced, only the basic things he needed to look like less of a meat head.

One particular job landed Santiago in Justice, CA. The moment he entered the city Santiago knew this was his kind of place. There was always going to be work to do, what with the city being a breeding ground for criminals and the police needing every hand on deck. So he decided to move to Justice permanently.

Personality: Nikolay is a pretty secretive person. He dosen't like talking about his past and when he has to he usually makes up stuff. But that also depends on the person he is talking with. He seems serious most of the time but despite that he is friendly and will sustain a conversation. His past as an assassin haunted him many times, which is why he left Russia in the first place. He looks like he has a heart of stone but that is not true, all the lives he ended weighed heavily upon him. He is impulsive and there where are times when he allowed his emotions to get the best of him. He is the kind of person that always follows his heart and not his reason.
History: Nikolay was born in Moscow, Russia. His father used to be in the military and his mother was serving in a restaurant. They both died in a car accident 10 years ago. Nikolay is an assassin that grew more and more weary of his job and decided to flee his home country in an attempt to start over and live a normal life. He was 21 when he started working for a russian gangster as one of his soldiers. Slowly and through hard work he earned the man's trust and respect. However, 7 years later, at the age of 28, he simply left, leaving behind a note in which he explained his actions. For safety measures he sent his little sister, 15 years younger then him, to live in Saint Petersburg with their maternal grandparents. After he fled he first chose Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, but he was caught there after just 3 months as a couple of armed men tried to kill him. His next destination was Johannesburg, South Africa. Here he lasted a little more. One year and 2 months, but again he was found and an attempt at his life was made.

After surviving a 2nd assassination attempt he decided to give the United States a chance, moving in Justice, California. Five years have passed since then and so far so good, Nikolai wasn't discovered yet. He managed to convince the Jagielski family to hire him as a soldier. However two months ago he was approached by Lauren Tryner who managed to convince him to be an informant for the Major Crimes Unit. Ultimately he accepted although aware of the reputation that the Jagielsky's have on the streets and all the terrible things they've done. Nikolay realised that by accepting Lauren's request he just put himself in alot of danger but he is not afraid. Beying a coward was never a characteristic of him. Nikolay believes that by doing this he will wash up his past a little.

Let's start with the good, right? Well, if people know the Hutchinsons (Particularly her father, sister, and brothers), they find it hard to believe that she's from the brood. She's always got a smile on her face and enjoys life as a whole. It doesn't matter who you come across, everyone will describe Kah pretty much the same as the others; She's very sweet and nurturing but a very free and independent spirit that craves what life has to offer. The girl has a spirit that can't be tamed. She doesn't like when people treat her like she's still a child or tries to make executive decisions for her life. She will fight back if she feels uncomfortable or frustrated.

Speaking of fighting, that's where the Hutchinson side of her begins to show. She tends to start with a passive aggressive attitude towards her aggressor, but she can easily be pushed into a hyper-aggressive state if the stress or irritation is there. She's a huge advocate for self-expression, especially through various art forms. She's always on about which tattoo she's going to get next and keeps various books filled with drawings and tattoo ideas. One thing you'll hardly see her without is her laptop, phone, camera, and video camera. She's forever interviewing people, just following them with a camera, photographing things, or concocting ideas for her next film project. A lot of her films are art related; She loves making documentaries on dance and art history.

Keela is just this...bubbly person full of energy. She rarely ever sleeps and seems to run just fine even so, often scolded by her friends and family that she needs to sleep more often. It's almost as though she's like a child, worried that as soon as she goes to sleep all of the good stuff will happen. She's a total sweetheart, this girl. Just don't make her mad.

History
Seventeen years ago, Keela Annabelle Hutchinson was born to Molly and Sydney Hutchinson in a large home on the outskirts of London. Her father wasn't around much though. Mostly because her eldest brother killed him three months after she was born. According to her siblings, even in those first three months he didn't want much to do with her. It was her brothers Patrick, Barry, and Ian that aided their mother in raising her. She came to look at them as fathers more than brothers, even to this day often addressing and introducing them as such. She was a rather pampered child, having ten siblings and a mother to constantly dote on her. So, her childhood was pretty normal for a child born in the upper class. But her life wasn't as much the fairytale that her family had painted for her. While she was playing with her friends, attending her classes, and just being a kid, her brothers and sisters were busy pulling off bank heists, overseeing their footsoldiers pushing drugs, and torturing men in their basements for information.

She had no idea that her family was the most powerful and successful crime family in all of London.

She found out later in life, around the age of nine. She overheard her family talking business as they always did after Sunday dinner at their mother's house. She never did let it bother her though. While many children might have been frightened or even shocked at such a revelation, nothing really seemed to change about her. At least not immediately. She slowly began to hang around her siblings more than usual, even going so far as to spy on them. She wanted to be like them. Her eyes were opened and she saw the fear and respect that they commanded with only their silent presence and it was a marvelous thing. She didn't want to be like them for the power, oh no. She just didn't want to be the odd one out. Of course, she realized that they were through great lengths to prevent her from finding out about their involvement with the other side of the law, so she was careful not to let on that she knew anything about it. She knew that they weren't about to “show her the ropes” of the family business, so she often did some research of her own. Her “Hutchinson genes” didn't often come to surface, with the exception of when she was at school and needed to get a message across. Her family continued to see her as the baby of the bunch, their sweet and innocent little gem.

At least until she got pregnant.

She was young – Nearly sixteen but not quite. To this day, she has yet to see her relationship as a mistake. His name: Oliver Moyer. Oliver had been somewhat of a body guard for her since she was a child. Whenever things were tense with other families, Patrick would have his closest friend shadow Keela and take her where she needed to go and provide her with whatever she wanted. It shouldn't have been too much of a surprise when the twenty-six year old man fell in love with the teenager, though neither of the starstruck lovers expected to fall into bed with one another so quickly. Still, they did. She was soon enough carrying his child and burdened with their secret. She feared that her brothers would kill Oliver if they ever found out that he was the father of Liam (though she was surprised that they didn't at least guess it was him considering they share a middle name and a few genetic features) so she kept her mouth shut. Still, they were understanding of her and supportive during her time of need.

She moved out of her mother's house shortly before the birth of Liam, unable to bear the look of disappointment that she constantly found in Molly's eyes. She was given the entire west wing of the twenty-fifth floor in the Hotel Britannica, her brothers' greatest creation and a monument to their power. It was their safe place. With the aid of her siblings, biological and in-laws, and her lover, she gave birth to a beautiful baby boy and named him after his father and grandfather: Liam Sydney Hutchinson.

Their secret was safe for a while, though Oliver eventually went behind Keela's back and plead with the woman who had raised him since he was sixteen: Molly Hutchinson. He begged for her daughter's hand in marriage and got that approval. Of course, he had to ask Patrick as well. He was the head of the family, after all. But things didn't go as planned. Keela had done her best to talk her brother down into an understanding state of mind so that he wouldn't react as harshly when she finally told him who the father of her child was. But it was to no avail. Unable to bear the thought of continuously living in fear, keeping their love and their family in the shadows until God knows when, the two made their way to confessional and let out their secret to Father O'Brien before boarding a plane to Justice, California, telling only Molly Hutchinson their whereabouts and frequently sending her letters. Keela began to take classes at JAI: Justice Art Institute, where she works to obtain a couple of degrees.

While Oliver has gotten a job working at the gym as a trainer, she brings in money to the household through freelancing as a tattoo artist, model, and photographer. They've been in Justice for six months now and have settled in nicely, fitting well with the community. They've managed to stay off the radar of the local crime syndicates as they are trying to adjust as a normal couple before undertaking such a task and plan on soon sending out wedding invitations to the other Hutchinsons.

She's recently taken a break from college before she begins her second semester and has taken up a job at a local dance studio as an instructor.

Oliver is a sweet and loving man if there ever was one. He can be a bit headstrong, hard to sway once he's put his mind to something, but that comes from being on his own for so long and having to make his own executive decisions in life. He's about as streetwise as they come and isn't afraid to get his hands a little bit dirty. His loyalty lasts a lifetime (or at least until he's betrayed) and he does his best to remain as much of an honorable man as he can muster for the general line of work that he's in. He's very respectful and when it comes to working hard, he has no problem. He doesn't like handouts and prefers to work for everything. He doesn't believe in giving charity or pity to those who are capable but lazy. He is very much a family man and places his family above all others, willing to put his life on the line to keep the Hutchinsons safe. He has take the rap for them more than a few times, earning himself a few nights in jail and a few more in prison.

Words cannot describe how much love he has for the family that took him in. He is a very grateful and appreciative man, never taking anything in his life for granted. When he gets angry, there is absolutely nowhere that you can hide that he won't find you. He learned from the best that death is an art and it's not about the destination, but the journey. Torture happens to be a specialty of his and he never uses guns. He tends to use only his own body, though he's been known to have beaten people to death with a wrench (hence being called The Mechanic) when seriously pissed. But underneath all that, he's an extremely thoughtful and kid man who cares about the people around him. He's quite the teddy bear.

History
Oliver was born to Nicholas and Jessica Moyer in Ireland. They weren't a wealthy family, barely scraping by each month on his father's salary as a mechanic and his mother's as a waitress in a small diner whose busiest day had fifteen customers. But they were a happy family, Oliver having an older sister that watched him while his parents worked. Hailey was a lovely young woman, though she didn't really have any big dreams. After she finished school, she decided to stay home with her parents and help take care of her baby brother. All she ever wanted was to have a family of her own one day. She went out with her friends to meet guys whenever her parents took Oliver to work; Oliver learned a lot about cars and cooking from being around his parents. His sister just taught him how to look classy without having to spend a lot of money.

He was ten years old when he lost his parents. A man came into their home and gunned down both of them before taking everything that was of value - Which wasn't very much. Oliver still remembers holding his parents and crying as they bled out and died in his arms before the ambulances had the chance to get there. His sister was sleeping over at a friend's and Oliver didn't know which one or any phone number to contact her so she didn't find out until it hit the newspapers two days later. After the funeral, the two were put into foster care and began a short time of bouncing around from abusive home to abusive home before Oliver finally talked Jessica into running away with him. After a while, they had landed in London and their faces were soon lost in the crowd. Nobody searched for them - They were just two random kids out of hundreds in the system. It was no big loss. They didn't mind because they didn't want to be found. Jessica got a job as an escort (much to Oliver's disapproval) and they moved in with a friend that she had made after two months of being an escort and living in a small motel room.

Oliver was twelve when he started working in a mechanic's shop as his father did and soon starting to wash dishes at a small diner. His purpose in life had become to take care of Jessica after she had gotten hooked on drugs and began to come home late and fucked up, sometimes not returning home for days at a time. Oliver tried to talk her into getting some other job when she came home with bruises and cuts but she assured him that she was fine. He was pushed into pickpocketing and robbing houses when she began to stop charging money for sex, sometimes doing it just for the sex or for drugs.

It all went downhill and uphill at the same time when she took him to a party. He was sixteen years old (she was 25) and he had become hardened by the life he lead. The man she was escorting was the man that had been beating her as well as the one who had gotten her started on drugs. The party was one held by the Hutchinson family. When Oliver saw the man, he immediately recognized him as the one that killed his parents and he saw red. He invited the man outside for a smoke, taking him to the garage. But they weren't going to smoke. Oliver had a wrench with him that he always carried and it was with that wrench that he bludgeoned the man to death until Patrick and Bartholomew pulled him off, having heard the commotion. The boy was dragged away screaming, taking down to the basement where Molly Hutchinson asked him why he did that and who sent him.

He calmly explained his situation, assuring her and her sons that his parents were not involved in any sort of crime. They were humble people with meager jobs. They took sympathy on him and Molly then decided to adopt him. She even put him through school. It didn't take long for him to bond with the family, though his sister was furious. He still loved her despite the venomous things that she had to say about him. Even knowing that Thomas had killed her parents, she was still upset that her brother killed the man she was going to marry.

She died a few years later after an overdose on heroine.

Oliver had become part of the Hutchinson family and soon enough part of their business. His life changed with Keela though. She was six years old when he first became part of the family and he never did think too much about her. She was a little sister to him and he enjoyed spending time with her. He watched her grow up from a little girl to a young woman and found himself getting closer than what was socially acceptable, unable to help it. He spent so much time with her, always appointed as her bodyguard. He went to school with her, watching her from the shadows, accompanied her out of town when she went to a big game or had some competition. They were fated to be. He had killed people for her. Not that she asked.

He fell madly in love with her and she with he.

When she announced that they were going to have a baby, he was excited and terrified. He wanted to tell the family about their secret relationship, but she forbade him from doing so. Words couldn't describe the joy he felt when he was the first to hold his son. He had lucked out,escorting Keela to the hospital when she went into labor and the family having to fight through traffic to get there. He did his best to play it cool around the family when it came to interacting with Liam, always referring to himself as "Uncle Olli" But in the comfort of his home when he babysat or when he was alone with Keela, he was daddy.

When Molly approved of his engagement to her youngest, he had to get Patrick's approval. When it became obvious that Patrick intended to kill whoever was the father, the couple fled.(Read Keela's CS for the rest of the information)

What words are there that can describe the second youngest of the Hutchinson clan? Oh, right: Selfish, self-important, narcissistic, megalomaniacal, vindictive, elegant, and wild. That sounds about right. Olivia Hutchinson...Well. It's a surprise that the bitch is still alive. For the past eleven years, hardly a day goes by when she's not high on something or completely drunk. It's gotten to the point where her moment of highest clarity comes only when she's got something in her system. She lives her life on the edge and only looks out for one person: Olivia Hutchinson. Sure, she has friends and she cares about them. But she would just as quickly throw them under the bus to save her own ass. She'll look out for her family only when their lives are in danger. Otherwise, she could give a damn less about them and what they do. In fact, she makes it a mission to get under their skin every time she sees them.

Her life revolves around satisfying the basic human cravings. She lives in nihilism despite her Catholic upbringing, figuring that there is in fact, no afterlife. There's only the here and the now and you're wasting your time if you aren't enjoying yourself. Her every day consists of fucking, drinking, snorting, injecting, popping, killing, fucking, drinking, smoking, fucking, injecting, dancing, and sleeping. With Robbie Ross in her life, things have only escalated and there was a time when they had spent an entire week locked inside her apartment, fighting for sexual dominance. Love? An idea made up by people for an excuse to get into someone's pants, have people do and buy shit for them, and so they won't feel so lonely and pathetic. It's all bullshit to her. What she has with Robbie is nothing more than a connection sparked by what they believe is something superior to any emotion anyone could feel. But it's not love. She doesn't care because she's found someone who can keep up with her.

When it comes to conducting business, she three times as ruthless as her brothers. She lacks any form of compassion and understanding when people get in the way of what she wants. And she wants money because money gets her nice things. Screwing her over on a deal or failing to follow orders when working with Wild is tantamount to signing your death warrant. She plays no games and gives no fucks. She always gets what she wants in the end and it doesn't matter who has to die in order for that to happen. When she's not angry, I guess you could say that she's generally a nice person. She's very outgoing (high strung, maybe) and far more intelligent than anyone but Robbie gives her credit for.

History
She used to be a sweet girl. Really. She was. From birth to the age of eight, she was as Keela was. She was a daddy's girl, that's for sure. She was very bright and inquisitive. She loved her baby sister when Keela was born and could often be found sleeping in the crib with her. But her father's sudden death and Patrick's incarceration began to change her. She began to grow more violent and spiteful, often getting sent home from school for terrorizing her teachers and classmates. She was verbally abusive towards her family members and had been caught stealing from them as well. She was twelve when she began to really go downhill, hanging out with the "wrong crowd" and getting into drinking, smoking, vandalism, and sex. She was constantly sneaking out and returning home far past the hours of her bedtime. She was growing wilder with each passing day, enjoying the attention that she got from it. But her fun wasn't going to last.

Unable to control her, Molly decided to send the fourteen year old off to the convent.

That didn't exactly help much either. She still managed to escape every now and then and find her way to a nearby party. Sometimes she'd get back before it was noticed that she was gone but many times she would be caught by the cops and dragged back to the convent. Even within the confines of those walls she managed to have her fun, sneaking in drugs and liquor and having her way with a few of the girls there that were her age. Nothing was going to stop her obsessive need for anarchy. She was constantly in trouble and it didn't bother her. She seemed to get a high from the attention and got off with the punishment. She was sixteen when she started sleeping with cops to get her off the hook.

At the age of eighteen they were no longer allowed to hold her and she was free to go. She celebrated by throwing a party that lasted for two weeks. It made local, national, and international news. It was absolute heaven for her, surrounded by everything that society deemed off limits. After the party died down, she got to work on her own business. She built a club called "Nihilsm". It was (and still is) looked down upon by most forms of media; it was an exhibitionist club. Still, it remains a favorite for many political figures and celebrities as a place to unwind and let their fantasies come to life. She openly deals her drugs there as well as pimps out her friends, paying off the cops who come by to check every now and again.

Now, her life changed completely when she met Robbie Ross Holmes. For better or for worse? It's still undecided. Her brother Patrick had sent her to see what sort of man was and whether or not he was good to deal business with. From that moment on, the two had begun a relationship driven by sex, a fight for dominance, murder, and drugs. After her younger sister ran away with Liam and Oliver, she avoided her family so she didn't find herself caught up in their whining and complaining and worrying. She has more recently moved to Justice with her partner where she has found herself dealing her new drug, Orphan Tears, from the shadows.

Personality: Jack is a hard man to pin down. Since his retirement he has tried to fight his demons, yet they still continue to haunt him. No longer a criminal, The Ferryman has had a great deal of time to reflect on the things that he has done. He now finds himself torn between his newfound morality, and his monsterous nature. This fear of himself has kept him from developing many relationships since he arrived in Justice, which has only added to the hollow feeling that his retirement has brought him.

Witty and funny at times, Jack has been doing his best to be personable, though it is often a struggle. Sooner or later, The Ferryman is going to need a new outlet for the violence inside him, whether it is for good, or evil, only time and the various men and women he meets in the coming days will tell.

History: Jack grew up in a wealthy NYC family, on the upper west side. He was well educated as a child, and shown a great deal of culture, with the hopes that he would become a perfect, refined young man. However, the result of his childhood was exactly the opposite. Jack was bored by the day to day lives of ordinary people, and always sought more, which led him to drugs. By the time he was 16, Jack was selling weed to all his ‘Manhattan Elite’ private school peers. But by the time he was to graduate, the young man knew he couldn’t go to some university to waste away and get the degrees his father wanted.

As a result, the moment he graduated, Jack enlisted in the military, quickly working his way into spec ops after proving how clever and resourceful he could be. For a time, he thought he had found meaning in the job that he was doing, protecting the nation’s interests overseas. No one but his superiors is quite sure of what kind of mission could have broken Jack, all that is known is he went out with a full team on an unofficial black op, and none of them ever returned. He and the team were all assumed to be dead, but the reality was almost worse, something snapped inside of Jack, which turned him from a proud soldier to a traitor. He gave up on everything he believed in and lost himself in the dark.

During this time, Jack took on the name, The Ferryman, and pulled countless jobs all over the world, specializing in assassinations and art heists. He had a long and lucrative career, and though he was careful, nothing can last forever. Eventually the heat was too much, and Jack knew he would have to either go down fighting, or give up the game and lay low. As tempting as the first option may have been to the thrill-seeker, for some reason, Jack was not yet ready to die. Retiring to the city of Justice, The Ferryman knew he’d be able to sink quietly off the radar in a city so full of crime that just one more man on the run could be lost in the crowd. A few years later however, and now some of The Ferryman’s old enemies have found him, and in order to stay alive Jack may have to seek protection within one of the emerging crime families.
