Personality: With her parents being from Dauntless, Laurissa is bold yet reserved. Though not the strongest of the Dauntless children, Laurissa makes up for her lack of strength through strategic cunning and quickness. Even though many know her as the reserved one, Laurissa doesn't have the time for people who don't try or simply slow her down. As part of the security of the city, you either made the cut or you didn't. She optimizes everything. The bad parts get cut out while the good parts stayed in. Even with her ruthless calculating disposition, for those who try, Laurissa sticks with them through hell and beyond. She's the cold mentor type. She's the friend that many want but few ever get.

Backstory: Born into Dauntless, Laurissa embraced the life style fully as she fought, trained, and studied militaristic action from her parents and those within Dauntless. With affinity towards strategy, the faction had high hopes that'd she'd be an instrumental leader though her demeanor needed some refining. Though she gave the Dauntless way when carrying out scenarios, Laurissa has noted many other ways of dealing with them that isn't Dauntless.

Afraid of what that could entail, she pushed the other 'solutions' aside and stayed with Dauntless.

When the aptitude test came when she was 16, she'd learned to embrace the Dauntless way. She knew where she belonged. Faction before blood - though her blood was already Dauntless.

Name: Angeline Ménard
Age: 16
Birth Faction: Erudite

Appearance:

Personality: Angie is quite outspoken about what she thinks, often challenging others to battle of wit and knowledge. She borderline resents those who are ignorant or refuse to learn. She can have trouble hiding that resentment at times and almost feel a need to teach them or educate them. Angie has a softer side though to those she knows and cares a great deal for them and would gladly sacrifice anything for them. Despite her thirst for knowledge, she also has a great thirst for secrets, both knowing them and keeping them along with a fearless attitude in the face of any difficulty.

Backstory: Angie had quite the studious upbringing. She was expected to become the next great genius in the faction. Highly intelligent, stubborn and a thirst for knowledge lead her down that path and she thrived on it. Often seen as rude and snobby she did not make any friends through school, part from a select few.

At her 16th birthday the aptitude test was coming around the corner and she was quite confident in which faction she should belong.

Personality:

Juno could be compared to a wolf (much like her last name suggests), silently stalking her prey for great distances and amounts of time, waiting for the perfect opportunity. She only speaks when spoken to, or when she absolutely must. Otherwise, she could melt into any crowd without a trace, which she has done on more than one occasion to escape.

When one actually does meet her and talk her up however, she is calm and polite, although frequently a smartass. She speaks in a quiet voice and is very patient, as such she is very hard to piss off. Before one should even think to piss her off however, they would be wise to be mindful of how fast she is with a blade.

Backstory:

Juno was born in the wrong faction. As a child, she frequently got into fights and did not embrace the honesty and transparency required by the Candor. Every year she waited outside of the choosing ceremony to watch the Dauntless run, her mind set on joining them when she was of age. It was the freedom that attracted her, no boundaries, no restrictions. She could hide whatever she wanted to.

When she turned sixteen, she began to “train” herself for the aptitude tests, and although she had no idea what they entailed, she wanted to free herself of the faction she currently called home.

Dauntless was where she belonged.
