Archer

Slipping inside, Archer sought a suitable place to sit--eventually opting to slouch against the wall in protest against the lack of high-backed chairs, as well as favouring the rebellious air it gave off--and looked at their Master seriously, "How's the disguise look? I suppose it would be expected for you to see through it... but do you think it would be out of place in this city?"

It was, after all, an important question: even if the disguise was pretty much impenetrable, it would still be a pretty bad one if it didn't fit the surroundings; this was why the Servant had endeavoured to look as much of a tourist or journalist as possible. Exactly the sort of person that would raise no eyebrows snooping around a coastal town, even one without much to make it notable. Every information seeker had to start their career somewhere.

Izisviel von Einzbern

Shrugging off her Servant's... strange interest in the amusement park as an incidental side effect of having been introduced to the entire concept not even half an hour ago, the homunculus once again picked up her tea, looking into the shallow pool of green before answering. Had she really drunk the entire thing so quickly? Lotus would have to make some more, then, if the pair of them were to continue their discussion into the night.

"As the terrain benefits Servants with ranged abilities and the enclosed spaces would benefit an ambush or being cornered, I shall make sure to avoid the area unless strictly necessary."

Izisviel had no idea why that would ever be the case.

Fio Mal-Rai

"Got it, Lancer!" Fio said with a firm nod and a grin. So... first night. Right. It was unlikely anyone would be jumping at the chance to fight, so to speak. After all, where was the preparation time? Therefore, Fio felt comfortable with going out to show Lancer around the city. And so, she did, ensuring her protective wards were firmly in place. A bounded field, too, was in place to warn her of intrusion.

"Tell me if you sense anything unusual, Lancer," she said as she walked, "We'll be scouting out the city ourselves tonight, then my familiars will inform us what they've seen. They might detect some of the enemy Masters."

Saber

"A wise decision, Einzbern-sama," replied Saber, nodding her head. She was pleased, her Master certainly appeared to have her tactical wits about her. Not a fool who would refuse to strategize. At the same time... Strategy could be abandoned in the event that there were innocents in danger. Perhaps that was another matter to inform her Master of. Those who should not be involved in the Grail War were not to be harmed, not if she could do something about it.

"... Another matter, Einzbern-sama," Saber began, "If innocents are placed in harm's way by this war, please do not prevent me from defending them. I cannot abandon them to die, and I would hope you agree."

Yumiko Kawajima

With a quick once-over, Yumiko was pleased to see that Archer hadn't been involved in any scuffles; in fact, they returned with...
Completely...
Different...

"Er... I think the outfit fits, but... How did you get that clothing in the first place. Please don't tell me that you stole it off of someone. If you really wanted to pick something up, you could've just asked..." she sighed, massaging her forehead as she walked back to her bed and promptly fell face-first into the sheets.

"So... Did you find anything of note?" she asked, rolling over to stare at the ceiling instead of asking Archer directly.

Lancer

"That will not be a problem. You have the means of detection, but we must always assume that something may be lying in wait. I shall remain on my guard."

To be fair, though, there wasn't much that Lancer could do while incorporeal. Then again, this inactivity of sorts was always a nice change of pace from constant fighting.
Too bad it probably wouldn't last for too long.

Archer

Archer took up a station leaning against a door, thinking about how to best answer their Master's questions, "Well, I didn't steal this from somebody... I made sure to pay the shop I took everything from. It would have been more convenient if they were open this late but I had to take what I could get."

As for the situational report... "I saw a man walking through the forest as I was leaving, but there's no way to tell if he was just someone going for a midnight stroll. If he shows up again, it might be worth treating him as an enemy."

Izisviel von Einzbern

"Do you understand the basic rules established for previous Grail Wars, Saber?" Izisviel asked, draining her cup and putting it aside for the moment, "They are to be kept away from public view and if this should require the death of an unfortunate bystander, then that is our obligation. If things get too out of hand, then the Mage's Association could decide to take extreme measures to prevent things from becoming common knowledge."

Of course, the town was rather on the large side for something like that to be chosen... but with the threat of violent magical retribution being taken against an entire town, it was better to play things safe. Particularly with many in the Mage's Association still wanting to see the war put to a halt.

Fio Mal-Rai

"Got it, Lancer!"

With that, Fio was off. The streets weren't entirely empty, given that the town was large enough to have some kind of nightlife. But it was sparse enough that battlefields would have to be chosen wisely, while at the same time being populated sufficiently that it would be hard to simply assault someone on the streets. Excellent. If this pattern continued, Fio certainly had an advantage in terms of getting the drop on people.

As she walked, however, something caught her eye, her senses as a magus immediately tuning to one point. It was hard not to notice, really... it felt like some sort of... oppressive sensation, coating her very being to the core like clinging slime. Needless to say, it was unpleasant. Tracing the feeling back to its source, Fio's eyes fell onto an empty alleyway. Frowning, she approached.

"Lancer, keep an eye out. There's something strange here," she said, glancing back over her shoulder. As she approached the source of that clinging oppression, it only grew stronger. A non-magus might even have collapsed at this point. Some weak magi may have as well. Luckily for Fio, she was made of sterner stuff then that.

And there it was.

A magic sigil, sickly green, emblazoned on the wall. Something like this, already? She'd barely had to look, this was brazen! And yet... it looked difficult to analyze. Something about it made her mind... swim trying to trace patterns. Hmph. Still, she was a Magus Hunter. Something like this shouldn't be any challenge for her!

Saber

For a few moments, Saber was silent. Yes, indeed... the secrecy of the war was absolutely necessary. But... if it could be maintained with the slaying of innocents, wasn't that something to strive for? Of course, sometimes death was necessary. But if they could avoid its necessity, then they would not have to kill innocent people who were simply caught in the middle of something they did not understand. Certainly, this seemed the best course of action to the dark-haired girl. After her contemplation, she looked back up towards her Master.

"... Very well, Einzbern-sama," she began, "I will endeavor to ensure no innocent lives must be destroyed to keep our actions a secret."

After a moment's pause, she considered the next course of action.

"... What is our next move, Einzbern-sama?"
