With
the lush green forested mountains and snowy crowned caps of Griflafs peaks forming a beautiful serene picturesque backdrop, a small humble market town sat amongst the subtle soft hills and open reaching plains to the south, just outside the reach of the great mountain's shadow. The small town was alive with the hustle and bustle of a busy morning as the citizens embraced the suns bright warmth and all eagerly sought to make the most of the day ahead.
The town was only small but it bred honest hard workers,
A wide lake ran from the mountains and cut the town in two.
The residents enjoyed the bountiful benefits of the giving river. Crops lined the waters edge, fishing huts appeared sporadically and a large water wheel marked the centre of town.
The river continued through the town south and ran parallel with a dirt ridden path that wound across the long bare plains to the large kingdom of Parin.
Exiting east from the town was another dirt path that lead to the rocky mountain crops of Dirgart.
The town, while only small, acted as a trading hub for these two great kingdoms.
With a population a little over one hundred, the town didn't offer a lot to its visitors but a warm meal, welcoming hospitality, a friendly smile and cosy accommodation.
This is the town of Elthandeir falls,
And this is where our story begins.
As the last wooden plank was nailed in place the grand new building was complete. An old wizardly looking wizard critically inspected the craftsmanship as he strolls around the wide open space. His boots clacking on the bare floor beneath him with each steady step.
Faster younger footsteps tore along the upper floor and flew down the stairs with a fast eager hammering.
"We got visitors alreadyyyyyy!"
Squealed an over-excited Isabelle as she tumbled under the centrifugal momentum of all her dangling gear and went crashing down the last steps and exploded out through the front door. Face covered in dirt she looks up to those approaching the door.
Tales of the opening guild have been spreading since it's construction first began. Located just a little north of the town, it's situated just far enough for privacy and not to be a disturbance to the town.
The mysterious wizard Horondo and his granddaughter Isabelle are its owners and occupier's, closely followed by their faithful servant guards Celcia and Ivas.
