"Don't you think you're being abit unfair? So far they haven't done anything but round us up. You are judging them by a bunch of stuff you read online. You know most of that is made up right? You don't even know if they have operating tables. Even if they do you don't know that they intend to cut into us or experiment on us. I think you're being as judgemental as every ordinary person that hates us just because we're different. Why don't you give them a chance?" Katherin snapped. She hated when people assumed things. It wasnt right.

Lucie laughed nervously, holding out her hands to either of the two. "Alright, calm down. No need to get frustrated. We're all friends here... I hope..." The dark girl muttered the last part, straightening up quickly. "I mean, we should try to get along, in case they are psycho scientists that want to stab at us with surgical knives." Her voice was light and joking, trying her best to ease the mood.

Wes was simply listening in on the conversation as he didn't bother getting involved. He was waiting on what was next.

"Enough all of you. Most of you came here with little to nothing. The rest of you were taken for breaking human laws. All of you will be treated equally wget her you surrendered peacefully or were taken against your will. All of uou will be give a chance to earn things to make life here easier for yourself. Including limited freedom outsideof the facility. " the head scientist explained.

Looking at the scientist, Wes shrugged Alright dude, you have my attention. You want to experiment on us or something to get off from? Or are we going to go through power demonstrations or something?

"That sounds like a good idea. Why don't you tell us when you first noticed your abilities and what you can do. Then you can demonstrate." the head scientist explained.

Looking around for a moment, Wes didn't see anyone volunteering so, he walked up first *sigh* Fine...I guess I'll go. My powers first came about when I was threatened. Um...I didn't live it a very stable home and my father, he was a drug addict and a pimp. He had anger management issues and usually verbally and physically abused me. Until one night....He tired to drown me. he was crazier than usual and thought of me as a failure since I didn't want to hustle like he did. So...he tried drowning me and told me to make him stop if I'm that badass. We were at a lake and next minute I found myself being able to breathe underwater....hell...I found myself able to swim...I got from his grasp and after coming up out of the water, I must've freaked my father out because he saw I changed some how and then pulled out a gun and shot at me. I felt the gun shots but they felt like mosquito bites and it never penetrated my skin but yet I still looked normal from what I saw. I had webbed hands at first, impenetrable skin and then he tried running me over with his car and after getting hit at 35 miles per hour by a car weighing about 4,000 lbs....I came out of it unscathed. I was completely fine. He said.

Looking at everyone and chuckled a little After a few incidents....I came to realize that I can adapt to almost any situation or environment. The only thing id I can adapt to things one at a time depending on the immediate danger and environment. and I don't actively control my powers...it activates on it's own once I or my body is aware of the danger or situation coming. He had to think for a moment Well if anyone have a power that could do damage or perhaps a weapon like a flamethrower....I'll need the danger to be present in order for my power to activate. he said.

Katherin was saddened by the boy's story. Her life had been hard. But mostly because she had been lonely. She stood up. She looked at all of them and envied Amy normalcy they had had. "My name is Katherin. As you can see I have wings. I have had them all my life. I can fly which isn't ad useful as you might think."

Lucie scratched the back of her head, watching the others introduce themselves. As if she was in a classroom, the girl raised her hand shyly. "Um, hey, mr. Scientist-guard-whatever-dude? Uh, I don't really... Know what my power is, heh. Kinda happened recently, so..." She gave a nervous laugh, accompanied by her famous cheeky grin.

"What unusual things have you noticed about yourself? What new things have been happening near or to you? What happright before you came here?" the scientists asked.

"Woah, slow down tigers. I told ya, I'm confused enough as it is without you throwing questions at me." Lucie sighed, tapping her cheek in thought. "Uh, well, when I was working the morning shift at mama's a coffee cup fell off my tray I was carrying, and when I went to grab for it, as soon as I touched it my arm turned porcelain just like the cup. And just now, when I was dragged in here, I got so mad and suddenly my arms turned into the same metal as the handcuffs." She paused to glance at the guards she had frightened. "Sorry about breaking them, by the way. I have a pretty bad temper." Lucie blinked her eyes back to the questioners. "But as I said, it's all recently. I don't know how it works, or what it is, or how to trigger it or anything." She gave a shrug.

"Were you upset or emotional when you dropped the tea cup?" the scientist demanded. He needed to know the key to her power. He was looking forward to tedting her and the boy.

Lucie cocked a brow at them. "The hell you think? Porcelain cups ain't cheap, ya know. Mama would have been real mad if I had broken one and we had to get a new one. Of course I was upset." She crossed her arms over her chest casually, lifting one hand to brush away a few stray locks of hair.

The scientist nodded. "Then that is the key. Your emotions are linked to your power. You are able to use it easiest when your emotions are strong. That's good to know. Anyone else?"

Wes was thinking for a moment Emotions? Usually when my power activates, it does it all on its own. I have no fontrol over it. You sure it's my emotions? I don't remember being emotional when it turns on...

"I was talking to the girl. Her power is clearly connected to her powers. Your connection might not be as clear as hers. There might be something completely different for you. We will see." the scientist informated Wes.

Alexis rose up with a clear disgust on her face. " My name is Alexis. I can control anything electronic. It happened when I was playing with a friend a game. I simply heard the TV talk to me , asking me if I want to change my score. I said yes and that's all. The score changed. I've been able to talk with anything electronic since I was small. That's all. "

"Well two of you what your triggers are. Now we need to know what cause you to have these unique abilities. We would like to do full physicals on you. You can cooperate and be rewarded or you can refuse and we will force you. Either way we will get what we want." the scientist informed them. He watched to see who would cooperate and who wouldnt. That would determine alot of things.

Of course, the combatant Lucie was first to argue. "Now hold on a damn minute. I ain't letting no weirdo scientist put their hands on me, buddy. I don't even know if you're qualified for that shit! Uh uh, hell to the no, force me however you want but I'm going kicking and screaming, that's for damn sure." She stated firmly, crossing her arms tight over her chest, similar to a toddler throwing a tantrum.
