hey, i'm guilty of giving up on it, too. I really do want to update it with bios and stuff now that we've actually gotten a grasp of things :)

Aww, these two. It makes me all warm and fuzzy to see how their relationship naturally evolved from:
-Enemies
-Frenemies
-Friends
-Close friends
-Best friends in the whole universe
-Adorably in love

I suppose the next step is getting the two married off then, isn't it? I think those scenes are going be even more of a hoot than when they finally professed their love for each other. I guess when we get closer to Illesia's demise we can talk about those details?

Thanks for the set up! I'll get us to the opening of the academy/put them in an interesting teaching scenario before Illesia rears her head again.

It would be a nice memento, but they kinda did already do that with his lightsaber in the crystal mountains too so up to you whether you think it works still :P

Maybe we can name the library after him and just stick to the academy being...well, The Academy for now?

Also, the teacher in me shuddered at the idea of having our two trying to freestyle lessons, so I came up with some stuff that I hope makes sense. I also gave you an opportunity for the Elders you control to say anything before the youngsters came. Feel free to advance a week or so in...might as well have them enjoy themselves a bit first before even more crap hits the fan, right? xD

Also also, did you want the Xiis arc to end on Dromund Kaas? Or did you have any thoughts about moving it past there?

And no worries, a lesson plan sounds very good haha I like it! Yeah...from personal experience being on the OTHER end of freestyle lessons it NEVER ends well so I shudder to imagine what it would be like for the teachers XD
I shall montage a couple of anecdotes for roughly a weekish in timeline then :P might as well give them a bit of a breather, for sure haha

Hmm, I didn't think about it too much in all honesty...I guess potentially it could? O.o I shall have a think though, and hopefully have some coherent thoughts to add in the morning when my brain isn't half asleep :P

Post up and coming shortly (in the next...hour or so, maybe? :O) Had the morning from hell in terms of getting stuff done so it's taking a little longer, sorry XD

But in the meantime, some thoughts I had re: the Xiis arc and I thought of two possible ways for it to go maybe:

1) We do let it run it's course on Dromund Kaas, they somehow figure out a way to take down Illesia, the day is saved, or anything else you had in mind there haha

2) Illesia has set up some sort of decoy/trap on DK, and while in the process of defeating the minions she left there causing havoc, they discover some kind of critical weakness or whatever that will help them with taking Illesia down, then they track her back to that ice moon in Wild Space where the Xiis originally came from (maybe Illesia baits/lures them there as she can draw more power from her surroundings there or something? *shrug*), and we end it there instead?

They're VERY basic thoughts/ideas of course XD so I'd love to hear any thoughts/additions you have for it, as always! :D

I think it might more poetic to have it go in the direction of number two, seeing as...well, I'll allude to it in the next post, but do know it's going to involve some of the youngsters that didn't make it from the settlement(goodness this is going to get even darker xD)

Yeah, so to Dromund Kaas, Illesia baits them there as you said, they fight, chase her down to the ice moon(Yerbol will LOVE that xD) and have one final confrontation before she goes down

Went for a halfway between the two approach and had Cheriss come but then had them split up to cover more ground, hope that still kinda works XD

Seemed like it'd be smart for them to have some powerful back up just in case they'd need it again, rather than not having an Elder with them at all :P

Oh for sure. I think it's also fitting that Cheriss would return to the former capital of the empire just like Voldon returned to Coruscant.

Dromund Kaas is also the perfect place for this. Dark, broody, eerie and willie-inducing all at once. I have a lot of the Dromund Kaas from SWTOR in my mind, which I think is a testament to how well EA designed that planet.

Ha, well thankfully it was just the battery AND the kids are basically finishing up stuff before spring break, so it wasn't too bad. Thanks for the well wishes though! Living in Texas takes a toll on cars. Batteries here last maybe two years, three if you're lucky? That's in comparison to more stable "seasonal" places like the coasts(relatively anyway) where batteries actually can last due to not having to deal with thirty to fifty degree temperature swings.

TL;DR
Be glad you live in England cause Texas is an unpredictable mess when it comes to weather xD

Oh gosh yeah I can imagine how it getting super hot would affect a car battery's lifespan, even though I do prefer hot weather I am glad we don't have to worry about our battery shorting out on us haha XD

Illesia's true purpose is finally revealed! Feel free to take control of one of the Five as you see fit. In my mind they're slightly older versions of Illesia that are much more powerful; however, they're not as powerful as they could be due to being in stasis for so long.

I have a feeling that this fight might require some additional help...xD

How do you think the fight should go? I'm assuming Illesia will escape, but does that mean we kill the Five here? That would be an epic fight...maybe with Cheriss? Or Ghost dad? eh? eh? xD

*picks jaw up off floor* Oohhhh man this is NOT what I was expecting at all O.O (in the best way possible ofc!) Oh wow, okay this is big...these guys are bad news.

I second that motion, help is definitely needed from Cheriss AND ghost dad XD
Hmmm, suggestions in so far as how this goes:
-so I assume the Five are going to appear and all kinds of crazy is going to go down XD Illesia, I figure, escapes in the chaos and flees to the ice moon (something Prime, wasn't it? ouo)
-Our dynamic duo have to engage the Five/the other Xiis of course in order to attempt to fight their way out, Cheriss senses that they're in trouble and appears to their aid with ghost dad in tow (because no way would he sit out of this and watch them hurt his little Ari XD)?
-big fight? I'd assume that although powerful and although Illesia has been "feeding" them with the Force users on Dromund Kaas the Five would still be 'weak' enough for our duo, the dogs, ghost dad and Cheriss to overpower between them?
-We could certainly kill them here potentially, it'd be a good and epic ending for the DK arc, depends on whether you had anything else big planned for them I guess? XD

To be honest, I wasn't expecting it either...it just kinda happened xD. Glad you like it though! :)

-Right! So Illesia is used to fleeing and will obviously fight in the battle, but once things start to turn in favor of the Qyaari, she'll want to somehow carry on the legacy of The Five and return to their original homeworld. That'll be the final battle, which probably won't last very long considering that she's been feeding The Five this entire time through the Force(good ol genetic mutations manipulated by the Force XD)

-That's what I'd assume, too. The Five are powerful, but not powerful enough to take down the entire party, ESPECIALLY with Roan coming to help.

-Yeah, this arc should end pretty soon. I feel like the Xiis have been a good Act II in the sense that they were a viable challenge, but they weren't overwhelming AND they will be motivation for the Elders to press for even more Academies/training facilities across the galaxy to make sure threats like this are neutralized quicker.
