[OOC] Blood Debt (Medieval/Fantasy, Rangers)

Waiting for a modification to one post and a little bit of feedback, but then we're going to transition to figuring out how to get Brand's body back. That will basically be a raid in order to get Flagg started on his end of the plot, I don't want to keep him on ice too long. At that point, they can do an interaction peace where they bury Brand properly.

That said, I'll transition the scene this evening.

Honestly I was leaving it vague because I wasn't sure if Flagg had plans on the King's location. Definitely heading to the King.

In order to get the Brand body thing going, and to get Flagg going as well, I wanted to set up a fight to get Brand's body back. Noxious agreed to modify her post to slip that information. I am going with the idea that once they had an idea where the body was, they'd make a move on to get it back before Harold could defile it. (And before Veredict could interrogate it.)

Edit: Also, if people want to do interaction and post the back and forth, conversations and so forth, skype is a good place to collaborate. As noted, no account required. I have a chat set up already. The link is on the front page.

Thank you for advancing the story, HeySeuss. It appears I can now get onto the site without receiving the error message every time. I did read the logs of information posted on Skype, but alas, everyone logged off by the time I was able to look at it.

It appears, I need to post Sachevia's Raven coming to me and saying the location of Brand's body? I know she tried to leave it vague, but since that is where we are taking the story. Also, that Brand's body is being transported by the King's men or Flagg's mercenaries (?) in a column that is also carrying the payroll? If so, I can post tomorrow sometime.

My mercenaries are going to show up later. I think most of the baddies you'll face now are generic mercs/royal soldiers.

Well, Harold's tax collectors certainly won't be mercs, so yeah. Royal livery, Harold's own.

Edit: So to summarize for @Gunther: Royal troops guarding a tax collector's wagons, one of which has Brand's body there. They are also carrying pay for some of the merc companies. I would say there are other wagons out there, so some mercs will get paid, others won't. Or they'll underpay all of them. Either way, trouble for Harold.

9:30 - 10:30 Kickboxing
shower, lunch, take 6-year old to a play date - No Kindergarten today for PTCs.
12:30 - 1:30 work. yes, I only work for an hour today.
1:45 - 2:30 Invention Convention - 5th grade daughter's project.
2:45 - 3:15 ?? Pick up kids from school. going to be rough this afternoon because 2nd grade daughter is on a field trip, unsure about when the bus gets in.
Pick up 6-year old.

Might have time in the afternoon to start writing. Although dinner will be early.

5:00 - 5:45 9-year old son trains/practices with his martial arts demonstration team.
6 - 8 11-year old daughter attends friend's birthday party.

If I don't get anything written sooner, the children should be in bed by 9PM and I will definitely get to it after that.

I had a funeral today, but I'm home and drinking and watching twilight zone. I might take my dogs on a playdate or some shit because Gunther is making me feel super lazy.

Adding three NPCs:

Pamil Kumar,35, a dark-skinned Daramelsh woman with a buxom figure. She had been with Brand around the same time as Kiera and left when Loden was 14. She was twenty years old when she left. Pamil is primarily a Necromancer with conjuration abilities.

Krayton Mott, 23, is an orphaned noble like Varrick Tuldar who has received training similar to men-at-arms knowing his way around the broad sword. He is very large and well armored. Krayton is humble and willing to fight.

Danton Raynor, 30, a slight man with dark set eyes and long black hair, wearing a cloak and carrying a staff. He practices enchantments, Illusions and abjuration spells. The best way I could describe Danton is like a young, Severus Snape. He has dark hair and pale skin, keeping to himself. He suffers from paranoia, occasionally engaging in arguments with himself. He apparently has a crush on Sachevia; an unrequited love that will surface as a problem one day...or maybe not a problem?

I forgot a key element of my post that would affect Beren, Varrick, Grey and my NPC, Krayton. Would it be OK, if I include it now before the next post goes up?

EDIT: @POOHEAD189 did not object. Why would he? :D so I edited in a paragraph that is currently colored greyish-blue. It essentially gives a to hit/Attack buff to the four melee characters in our party.
