Anyone interested in a Walking Dead style rpg?

I am looking to start a text based roleplay site with a Walking Dead style plot (original characters) and would like to gather some players who are interested in advance. There will be staff positions available as well if anyone wants one. Please let me know if you're interested. I'm going to start creating it tonight and will post updates here.

Hello! I was thinking about that same idea today! I started watching The Walking Dead again (I stopped in the midst of the third season and am now continuing from there), so I've been thinking a lot about a RPG in that style with original characters.
I'd be very much interested. Of course I'll want to see details too.

As to fantasy elements, personally I hope not. The zombies themselves are the only fantastic thing I want around. No magic, no powers, nothing like that. I strongly prefer the minimal necessary willing suspension of disbelief, but everyone has their own thing that they enjoy.

I tend to agree with you. I'd rather my site be about normal people who have been put in this awful situation, to see how they would react. There won't be any magic powers.

I like vampires, but I hate vampire rps. I feel like the story should be bigger than the character's race. I'd like to play one in a completely unrelated setting, especially one where I have to think about realism. I could definitely see a zombie apocalypse causing a huge problem for him. He'd starve.

This honestly sounds like it's going to be a fun thread. Nothing quite like an apocalyptic story. Full of survival, drama, and psychological problems slowly developing in once innocent character. The precise definition of fun!
As for magic and the like, I agree with you all. No matter whether the apocalypse is caused by magic or science, the zombies seem like enough supernatural influence for a realistic thread. But whether or not you decide to use it, count me in!

Ok guys, here's what I have so far. I still have to add some more locations for roleplaying, and have yet to create my character, but it's past midnight and I have a baby who wakes up a 6am so I need to hit the sack haha. Please go ahead and make your characters and I will approve them / create my own in the morning :)

I like a lot of the site layout, it looks nice! I have a couple of questions though:
1) In "skills/abilities" what exactly does "knowledge" means? Just general knowledge, like knowing why the sky is blue and that honey color and flavor varies according to the nectar source? If my character is good at talking to people could I put he is diplomatic/tactful?
2) I never RPed in a site like that. So there are several threads, "London, Surrey Hill, The South Coast and The North", and I should RP IC in the thread where my character currently is? If my character is in London I RP at the London thread?
I know it was actually a lot of questions separated in two groups, but I thought it would be easier.
Anyway, I will start thinking about my character. I have to study this week because I have a major test next weekend, but I will work something out. If I can't this week, then in the next I will write the character sheet, but I will start thinking about it already.

Also, I liked a lot of the name of the RP.
