It was the first day of school at Mt. Hope Academy, a new class of students ready to share their talents to the world and to grow into adults. However, once each student entered the school grounds, they were struck unconscious, by what, the students couldn’t say. In truth, I, the fiendishly adorable Monokuma used gas canisters.

Dragging their seemingly lifeless bodies is actually a lot of hard work, so I piled them up in the gym, locked the door, and retreated to my base of operations. According to my estimates, they should be waking up in a couple of minutes. I figured that I would give them some time to introduce themselves, get to know each other a little, before I give them the low-down.

My estimates were wrong, however, and it took them an hour to wake up. At this point I became impatient, so I decided to make my appearance right away.

“Wakey, wakey, everyone! Today is a very important day! This is the beginning of the rest of your lives! So, I’ll make this quick and simple. My name is Monokuma, and I’m in charge here. You guys are trapped in this school. You can try to escape or break out, but that would be a waste of your time. There is only one way to get out. You have to murder one of your classmates! I don’t care how you do it, just as long as the dirty deed is done. Sounds simple, right?”

“Wrong! You also have to not be caught in a class trial, but don’t concern yourself with that, now. So you have two choices. Murder and have a chance to go back to the outside world, or keep your hands clean and live here forever. There is plenty of food, so starving isn’t a problem. Got any questions? No? Good!”

“Now, if you will all reach into your pockets, you should find your student ID. You don’t want to lose that. It has your name, basic info, your ID number which isn’t important right now and a map of the school. Right now you kids can only access the first floor.”

“Get all that? Good!” I disappeared behind the podium and watched for their reactions.

Rio Andersen - Beautiful Days

Mt. Hope Academy...Yes, the word itself seemed to have an air of elegance and regality surrounding it, saying the word just roll's off one's tongue. Originally, it came from the Land of the Rising Sun, Japan and was known as Kibougamine Gakuen, or 'Hope's Peak Academy', but all the success and stories surrounding it garnered more than enough attention for all of the world to cock their heads to it. Whether on live TV news, the papers and tabloids, magazines, and even making rounds online, at first I was a little skeptical...What was so special about it anyway that it got that much attention? Was there a scandal surrounding it? Did one of the students get in some sort of trouble? Or was it really just a slow news day that time that they decided to cover a news story about a school? Well, I guess was ignorant at that time. It turned out that the academy is really picky about their students, in that they only accept the best of the best, and I'm not talking about best at every subject from English to Science (Although I'm pretty sure they'd accept someone like that.), they hunt down students with exceptional talents and those that are still in high school.

Now, I didn't really pay much attention to this until Mt. Hope Academy had opened up. Basically, it was an American branch of the original academy, and it came to a shock for me when I received an invitation saying I was "formally invited" to the academy and shape the future generation with my skills. Needless formality isn't something I personally like but who was I to deny a grandeur invitation? Knowing that my designs could actually hit the world by storm one day, I immediately packed my things and set off for the academy, but not before giving my mother one big squeeze and informing her that she had better get ready for my grand entrance to international fame! Now, I've only ever seen the academy from pictures but to actually see it towering over me was both intimidating and exciting! Taking a deep breath, I clutched the invitation in my hand and my suitcase in the other and entered the school grounds, however...The moment I stepped forward, my body tensed up from a sharp pain in my head, everything was...spinning...What is this? I put a hand over my head and stopped on my tracks to try and alleviate the headache, but even that seemed to worsen it. Eventually, I found myself hitting the cold, hard ground and my eyes felt heavy...It was as if the Sandman was trying to force me into slumber by sitting on them and in a matter of seconds, I drifted into unconsciousness...

Donovan Michaels - Beautiful Dead

I awoke to the sound of a very, very, VERY annoying voice...It was so squeaky and high-pitched, you'd almost mistake the person was a cartoon character...I got up from my slumber and surveyed my surroundings, the floor was wooden and the room could only be described as a gym. Everywhere around me were other slumbering students, still deep in their sleep, but after a few seconds they all seemed to be waking up one by one, the biggest question however, is how did I-and everyone else for that matter-get here? Last I remember, I was at the entrance about to enter this prestigious academy, heck I didn't even realize other people were going to attend since I didn't even SEE anyone at the entrance. Scratching my eyes for a moment, I regained composure only to be greeted by some sort of...plushie? It looked awfully cute, I wouldn't mind collecting it just for shits and giggles but that idea was quickly shot down when it began to speak...

I listened in horror as the bear toy explained to all of us that we were trapped inside the very school we were supposed to attend, and the only way of escaping was...murder?! That's stupid, ridiculous! That might just be me in denial but surely there must be some other way to escape this school without shedding blood, right? B-Besides...No one would really commit homicide just to get outside right? Then I immediately remember an article I read once, saying that people who cage themselves in for extended periods of time tend to get...unstable. It was questionable, sure, but at the time I never thought I'd actually be pushed into a situation where high school kids have to murder each other just to see the light of day again...

Then there was the talk of the class trial? Was that like some sort of court trial or another trial altogether? Before I could even ask the bear he disappeared behind the podium, but not before informing us all that we had ID's inside our pockets. I began to reach around my pocket to confirm, and true to his word there was a card-like object lodged inside of my pants. I can only hope that was the only thing that was there. I booted the thing up and it displayed my name in all of its glory, along with my blood type, height, weight, measurements, the basics. It even came with a map detailing the first floor! Oh joy. Now, while I'd like to gather clues and try to find out where we are right now, it would seem that the other students have certain things in mind first, like introductions...

Ryuji Tachibana - 8 AM

A tall man was stirring in his sleep, his eyes were trying their best to stay shut so he wouldn't have to go though the pains of waking up. But to no avail he couldn't stay asleep instead he slowly raised his upper body off the surface he was laying on, it was the cold hard ground not the bed he has expected. Ryuji let out a quick yawn and tried to wipe away the sleep out of his tired eyes after a moment he realized that a voice has been speaking the moment he awoken. At first the squeaky voice was charming but the subject matter the Monochromatic teddy bear was saying was quite grim and dark, Grimdark. But the moment the Bear's words started to sink Ryuji gave a look of horror as he listened more and more to the Bear's explanation of the group, who he didn't even notice, situation. It was official, he was freaking out.

Once the bear finished and left the room, Ryuji looked at the rest of the group and hope that one of them will reveal that this was simply a mean spirited prank on the new students and that their horror would be viral. But it never happen instead confusion washed over the group like a violent storm, and in Ryuji's case terror. Ryuji checked out a student who started to dig into his pocket and confirmed that the card like things were true, for that guy anyways. Ryuji quickly followed suit and pulled out his own Student ID, which has all his information on it even stuff he didn't know himself. Ryuji raised himself off the ground to finally stand up and lift the ID to his eyes and then studied over the rest of the students. For the first time in maybe his whole life Ryuji talked first.

"So... oh...Um... uh... W-what should we do? S-should we i-introduce ourselves...? I m-mean i-if we know each others names it would be harder to...to...y-you know?" Ryuji spoke very softly, which was still louder then he normally spoke so he was both embarrassed and proud of himself but then he started to trail over his words at the end as he was still getting over the idea of killing another person his own age. Ryuji fidgeted around waiting for responses.

This whole thing was illogical. This whole things was for lack of a better word insane and silly. What the mastermind of this whole facade gets out of their mindless tomfoolery she didn't know, but no matter the answer she would never approve of such brutish tactics and trickery. Maya was the first to awaken and was the most clear minded hearing the whole exchange of knowledge of this so called, Monokuma, and the students. It seemed utterly crazy that somebody would endorse such a needlessly cruel game with the lives of others. But maybe the reason why isn't important, not right now as it were. But how to keep the wheel spinning perfectly so nobody will think to kill another person in cold blood in the hopes of freedom, and maybe she can use her knowledge of buildings to find a way out without playing this Monokuma's game. But first she would like to know the other people's names for clarity sake as they might spend the rest of their lives together no matter how short it might end being.

Luckily for Maya somebody started to talk, so she didn't need to, she was never good at starting conversations. Even if the young man was stuttering fool, who could barely form a sentence without stumbling over his words. it was driving her insane. But he brings up a good point, so she better respond as add her own two cents into the ordeal.

"Yes, yes, we know about the circumstances we find ourselves in, either stay here and rot or kill or be killed, no matter the choice it's beyond the realm of sanity and reason, as well as utterly pointless and cruel. But you bring up a good point, we should introduce ourselves if only to know each others names for formality sake. I am Maya Malik, the Ultimate Engineer."

Liisi Avedarci - Beautiful Rain

Waking up to the shrill voice of a tiny stuffed bear was not on Liisi's agenda for the day. That annoying, high-pitched squeak reminded her of nails on a chalkboard, but regrettably, was worse. Lifting herself up off of the floor as the toy spoke, she dusted herself off and stretched, hearing her joints click and crack back into a comfortable place. What said bear was saying seemed to be dire - almost too dark to be true. What kind of academy, no matter how prestigious, locks students in there until they kill each-other? 'I suppose it may just be a prank, or orientation of sorts.' She thought, tightening the bow in her hair as the bear vanished behind the podium. Admittedly, she hadn't been paying full attention, but a few words did register in her mind. Murder, trial, and food. Standing towards the back of the gym, it was difficult to see the faces of the other students, but the girl tried to survey her new 'companions' regardless.

She noticed two male students digging their student IDs out of their pockets. One was a very tall boy, who looked quite serious and intimidating, while the other looked slightly older, shorter, and... unkempt. From his messed up hair to his slob-like clothing, Liisi could find no nice way to describe him. 'If everyone has such lack of hygiene, I might actually murder someone.' Swiftly looking around the rest of the room, she took note of those who may or may not be worth her time. There seemed to be quite a wide variety of students, but surely, none of them would actually consider murdering someone. The girl was still unsure whether this entire situation was reality or a prank, but one could never be too careful.

Hearing a quiet voice, Liisi looked over in the direction it came from, and noticed that the intimidating-looking male from earlier was tripping over his own tongue. 'How pathetic...'. As she reprimanded herself for thinking something so harsh, she realised that someone had actually responded to the fool. Sighing quietly, she decided to join in. Putting a smile on her face, she took a few short steps towards them, her flats making quiet clicks against the hardwood floor.

"Pleasure to make your acquaintance," She started, extending a hand to the engineer. Her light italian accent made small appearances on her vowel sounds, strangely mixing well with her american. "Avedarci, Liisi. I think I've heard of your achievements in New York, engineer."

Xavier De La Fontaine - Eau de Vie

Whilst taking in the information given by the stuffed bear, Xavier tried piecing everything together. He hated to admit it, but it made sense. Remembering the dizzy feeling as he entered the campus, he put a hand on his forehead and sat himself down on the floor, crossing his legs. It was mildly uncomfortable, but the sick feeling as he processed everything would have probably made him lose breakfast if he stayed standing. Casting his mind back, he remembered hearing rumours of an incident at the Japanese school, although as far as he knew no detailed information had been given.

He watched as a small group of people introduced themselves, listening in closely. He wanted, no, needed to find someone to trust. It seemed probable that alliances and friendships would already be forming, and he didn't want to be the only one alone. He wished he didn't accept the invitation, being a collector wasn't really something to be proud of anyway. Oh, how he would love to be wrapped up in his quilts and blankets at home right now, surrounded by his boxes upon boxes of erasers, pens, shopping recipts, bottle caps.

Surveying the room, he tried to think of who he could approach, but ultimately settled for staying rooted on the floor. Pulling his student ID out from his pocket, he booted it up, seeing that it included most of the 'vital' information. Name, age, specialty, other such things. He played around with it, seeing that it included a map of the first floor. The male wanted to go and explore, but knew that leaving so quickly could potentially seem shifty, and he didn't want to be alone. Putting his ID back into his pocket, he kept listening to the people around him, and hoping that one might eventually strike up a conversation with him. Part of him also wished that nobody would notice him. After all, if nobody noticed him, nobody would try to kill him, right?

Kiragi Yoshikazu - Cognitive Dissonance

Kiragi's mind was still numb as his eyes managed to open themselves, revealing to the surgeon that this was not the sight he had remembered before blacking out. His last memory was of the school's entrance, but when he tries to continue to think beyond that, it is as if there is nothing to remember. And so he lay there, eyes open, questioning the circumstances before a high pitched voice invaded his ears, forcing him to sit up just to see where it was coming from. And it was certainly a surprising source to him, as it was none other than what appeared to be a stuffed bear, yet it spoke just fine. It was quite the curious subject to Kiragi, and he wondered if it had the same vocal cords as humans do to be able to replicate their speech patterns. But what it was saying was far from ideal for the young surgeon, as it literally suggested that the only way to leave this school was to murder another classmate. He wasn't sure what all the fuss was about though, they had wanted to go to this school in the first place, right? Unless this wasn't a joke, and they were being held hostage...

Regardless, he knew no one would actually be willing to attempt a murder with him around. Surely this school had a nurses office of sorts, and if it did, he may be able to stop some attempted killings on the very slim chance that anyone was actually thinking about it. Nonetheless, it at least did provide them with an ID, which supposedly had a map of the massive school. That would definitely come in handy to him if he wanted to find any sort of medical center here, but he almost forgot he was still simply sitting on the ground, getting dirt and dust on his clothes. Stretching his arms first, waiting for the clicking of his bones to signify that they were ready to work properly. He then proceeded to slowly rise up, dusting off his pants and vest of any dust particles that had accumulated on them during his rather unexpected slumber. After finding it at an adequate level of cleanliness, he decided to reach into his left pocket, pulling out the ID he wished to inspect. At least the bear was telling them the truth, as it had his age, name, ID... even the map. And while he wanted to go off and search for some sort of medical area, he almost forgot that he was in the presence of others as well.

He turned to the group that had accumulated and started to introduce themselves, deciding he too should join them. He wasn't afraid that they'd be willing to kill him, and so he was rather calm and relaxed as he approached. "Hello!" He said, his calm smile radiating how he didn't perceive them as a threat. "I am Kiragi Yoshikazu, ultimate surgeon from Japan. Let us hope for a different outcome than what Monokuma expects of us, yes?" He told the group, his accent making a very strong appearance as he spoke, making it recognizable that he was indeed Japanese.

Rose Everfield - A New Day

As soon as I heard that... thing talk, I wished I was back home, studying my lines, daydreaming my way to make it big on the silver screen. God, I just couldn't beleive it. I can't believe it! It must be a joke. I mean, come on, who would do that? I could feel my legs shaking, slightly when I heard his voice after I woke up from the toy's announcement. I looked around to see other students waking up and digging in their pockets for the ID that they were given. I took a deep breath and collected myself before I slipped out my own ID and turned it on. There it was. My name, height, weight, all of the basic information. I noticed a small group of students talking to each other. I walked towards the group and smiled.

"Hi! I'm Rose Everfield. The Ultimate Actress... Well, supposed to be that anyways. Um..." I looked at the others, varying in height and talent. "Well, I'd usually say 'How's everybody doing today?', but I guess that's a pretty pointless question now, right?"

Taeko Logue - A Lucky Day...?

I was sleeping and minding my own buisness until somebody bumped into my chair. I opened one eye and couldn't see the perpetrator, but I instead saw other teens standing around, digging into their pockets, and expressing horror and confusion. What, did a teacher just tell them to shut up or something? Whatever it was, I knew it wouldn't concern me. I was planning to go back to sleep, but curiosity, some anxiety, and the lack of music running through my ears got the best of me. I got up with an exhausted sigh and stretched out my back and arms.

I followed the others lead and searched my pockets to discover not my phone, but something else. The heck? I turned it on and the screen lit up with my name, my information, and a few other tabs. I looked around once more and saw kids walking towards each other, iron filliments being drawn by a magnetic force. I also searched for my headphones and phone, with no luck. "Damn it," I whispered. I could feel the anger boiling inside of me and my body expelling heat. I turned to the other kids and let my mouth open. "Ok, who the hell thought it would be funny to take away someone else's crap just cause they didn't get enough sleep, huh?! Who did it?!" The hair stung my face as I sharply whipped my head back and forth. I stood there, alone. Unaware of what the actual problem was that has occured...

Cynthia Arabara - Gold Experience

Everything had changed. This was a new dawn, a new experience for Cynthia and she was not ready for this big change. She wanted change, she didn't want everything to be normal forever, but this wasn't the change she wanted. Her heart raced, her mind raced. Everything was racing. Her body was on over drive. The smaller green haired girl's eyes darted around as she hesitantly walked into the place where everyone else was. So many people. She wasn't used to this. This was a big change, too much, too much people. She listened, she learned. She understood completely, it made sense somehow, she knew this was what was happening. Now she was ready, she clenched her fists.

She shook a little, going to a wall and trying to lean against it, kinda eyes wide and her head staring up at where the bear had just departed. She was scared, that was for sure. You couldn't see it on her face, but she was terrified, she just looked nervous and anxious. But that was a usual. "Oh hello....my name is Cynthia Arabara, the ultimate Gardener, you all seem nice, I'm happy to meet you all..."

Alice Eason-Bloody Tears

I woke up to the sound of,a bear..yes,it seems odd,but I saw it with my own eye. Everyone seems to have been dragged to the gym for this meeting. I got up and dusted my skirt off. Looking around,I saw a good variety of ultimates. I looked up and listened to...whats their name again...oh yeah. Monokuma. They said that either we can stay and live here for as long as we live,or we can kill one of our classmates. Now,I maybe an assassin, the ultimate one,but thats not right! Everyone here seems either scared and/or insane. Me,I would most likely be accused, alot.

I decided to come here so I can have a break from my job. Oh how I regret it so much. I pulled out my ID and studied the map,and this place has everything! I saw that my number was 6. Isnt that the unlucky number? Oh,boy...

I walked up to everyone else, next to a small girl. With the paint on her shirt,I guess that shes the ultimate artist. The amount of pink in her outfit is suspicous...but ill put all that aside. I heared Rose's question and replied with "A better question is,how are we gonna stay sane here and why is that girl mad at us?" And I pointed to Taeko. Then I cleared my throat and said "Ok,guess its my turn to introduce myself. Im Alice Eason, the ultimate assassin. Lets not go insane and kill each other for no reason. K'?" Then I nudged the girl next to me.

Elizabeth Remington-Waterfall

I woke up at the gym like everyone else, kinda frightened that a BEAR that was our principal said that either we stay here or KILL EACHOTHER! I then pulled my student ID out and searched the map for my dormroom. After Monokuma, that what it said its name was, dissapeared. I walked to the other people of the group, kinda afraid of the girl screaming out about something of hers being stolen. I waved a small hello to everyone and held my head down, playing with my fingers. I felt a nudge on my left shoulder and looked up,then I said "U-Um..guess Its my turn to say who I-I am. Im Elizabeth R-Remington,u-ultimate a-artist. Please d-dont kill anyone..? Heheheh... I then made a nervous smile and coughed.

Acute Magnanen- - Game of words;Game of lies

"Ah.. AH.. AHHHHHH!!!"

Minutes earlier..
Strong palpitations.. shaky vision.. profuse sweat... I can feel my very world falling into dark depths, the ground in front of me being ripped apart. I can't bear this! This madness reeks of acute insanity! My hands, my arms, they're shaking and screeching like never before, in rhythm with the world. My body is like a worm, wiggling and hurting, mind-mindbogglingly numb.. why, this can't be real! It's just not possible! Kill or be killed? Is that what my life has come to? Sure, this 'Monokuma' bear thing cleverly attempted to make it sound better, but the deeper meaning is obvious, it's a survival game of kill or be killed. Only less action, more words.

Perhaps I should feel in my element, being the Ultimate Linguist and everything, yet instead the air around me is melting while my skin seems to boil like acid.. Every fiber of my whole drowns in perspiration and unadulterated anxiety.. Kill or be killed This, this madness should be gone! It. it's.. Struggling with the walls closing in, the dirty looks, and the mistrust, I can already see the classmates that devilish Monokuma spoke of. Will these 'classmates' of mine end up murdering each other? Will they end everything with blood on their hands, maybe even.. maybe even blood on my hands? No, I musn't focus on the possibilities. I've got to ignore these terrifying prospects of murder and death and killing and.. I swallow, looking around with wide, darting, unfocused eyes. Since these eyes are a gateway to my soul, then my soul is of bottomless worry and fright. My whole body reflects this truth and my dry throat seems to echo words, echo a desire to release an innate call of terror. I can't stomach anything and every thought just makes it worse and worse! Why am I the only one freaking out here! "Ah.. AH.. AHHHHHH!!!

With such, my knees almost fall to the ground, but I hold them up just barely. Just enough to gain a resurgence of frenzied panic and sprint out of the gym. Once out of the gym and completely alone, my hands dip into my pocket. Noticing the student ID, I bring it out, studying it for a moment in wake of the screams. Sure enough, there on the neat little screen it says all of my sensitive information. Creepy. Sliding back into my pocket, I lean against the wall outside the gym, trying to make sense of that little speech Monokuma gave. But it's just too much for me. I let my eyelids close for just a second as I.. I...

-Joseph Takuma : Disconcerting Duress-

Slowly seeping into a dream, waking, seeking, seeing, dying, lying. Submerged in his own mind was the mixed mess of discomfort and duress. It felt despairing, like a nightmare... no, it was a nightmare to say the least. It always started with the imagined academy and upon entering was greeted with a gruesome sight - bar in hand, head beaten in, body desecrated to the point where it was unrecognizable. Joseph wanted to scream, but yet he found no strength to. And then and then, the face... that face.

It was teeming with psychotic ecstasy... or was it sheer jealousy? Regardless, they had a smile that made him comparable to a ravenous wolf dining on a meal they had subdued. Joseph couldn't take it... but why? That's what he always pondered upon. Backing away, he began to trudge away, before something different arose.

Josephs head was smashed hard by something, and it was as if he was now a watermelon. The ichor dripped out and the landscape turned even more surreal, with masks, happy and sad haunting him with memoirs of smiling people he once knew... who ended up melting into goop... and soon he felt the same. This was different than the other times; why was it prone to changing now? It itched... he pealed a piece of skin off... it hurt. All of it... it hurt it hurt it hurt it hurt it hurt it hurt! Why, why, why, why, why?! WHY?!

It was at this singular moment he was aroused from his slumber.

Joseph's breathing was spiraling out of control, as it went in and out at a marginally swift rate. His lungs felt like they were on fire and his whole face was drenched in sweat... and the back of his head, no... his whole head was in pain, especially the back! Arising from his position, a disgruntled looking young man shoved himself up from the risers, rubbing the back of his head, shuffling around the follicles in the process, though it didn't make any difference. The only think that could be denoted was a large frown and darkness under his eyes.

He did not at all look content and appeared to be ready to cut a bitch... despite the contrary.

Still, taking a quick gander at his surroundings, he discovered other people about, awake before he was... and there were a couple who hadn't stirred. Still, an ear piercingly childish voice managed to garner the attention of Joseph, who winced in pain at how loud it was... then again, that could be a side effect from the ringing in his ears, but eh.

Looking up, he found a black and white doll standing erect on the stand, giving his or her explanation to everyone in thew vicinity. Was this thing a robot or something? Joseph heard about this accepting the cream of the crop, the best of the best, the talented, so that must of meant this bear was conceived by some person who was considered to be the best of the best in their field of creating robots! Yeah, that had to be it! Although, this robot was super annoying, looked rather aggressive, and was just... bleh.

Ooh, maybe he could learn how to make a robot too! That would be interesting! "Maybe I could create a robot that looks adorable and not sound as annoying as this... Monokuma thing!... wait" Oh, right, he just mentioned they were going to be stuck here for the rest of their lives. Before anyone could retaliate, the toy continued to explain at an exceptionally swift rate, saying that leaving is futile... unless they murdered someone...

What.

Eyes widening in surprised, Josephs hands were like claws of a tree, trembling as a brisk wind brushed across. Mouth slackened, he was completely dumbfounded. Did he or she really expect one of them to murder someone?! Wait, he did have notes! He heard about something... about acting? No, that's incorrect, it had to manifest with the psychology of people!... or was it general psychopathy? There were a lot of psychopaths in history that were conceded with myriads of things, but not limited by being caged... until they were caught and persecuted... and... wasn't Joseph forgetting something?

...

... oh, right, everything else. Other people exist, right.

Trials? You mean like court ones? Were they all going to be lawyers or detectives? ARGH, TOO MUCH, TOO MUCH, TOO MUCH! Breathing in and out and a slow rate, Joseph closed his eyes as he listened to the monologue, trying not to deceive himself that something peculiar was happening. Right now, he had to focus. "In and out, in and out, make the white noise become black..."

To reiterate, they had to murder someone to leave, lest they would be stuck here forever... seriously... that's incredibly inconvenient and stupid, even with the food it mentioned. There were other options like not believing the words of someone who was pulling their leg, or rather if it came to it, why not kill the one forcing them to do murder someone? Then they could leave, right? Opening his eyes, the final words spoken from that thing were uttered... and in the blink of an eye, it dissipated into thin air.

"... th-this is obviously a trick... insanity... no way anyone would stoop to abrasive lows to steal the soul of another being to quell their inert sense of panic," Joseph muttered to himself as he stared at each of the contenders around, departing from his resting place as he planted himself on the floors. Gazing around the place, he found some banners indicating their location... even though he did not want to admit it, this was the prestigious academy he was formally invited to.

... but why were things like this? Why?

Shoving his hand into his pockets, he attempted to find his cellphone, but that was for naught as the only thing available was this tablet. Procuring it, he studied it for a moment, but not before a voice disrupted the newly found silence. A boy who was just about as tall as he nervously stammered, seemingly nervous. Was he shy or was it the predicament they were all in? Still, another voice rang out who skipped to introductions over who she was, almost unfazed by this all.

Seriously?... then again, that bear-bot thing had no indication of telling the truth maybe as the only thing he knew about this place was the metal plates covering up some places and the facet that they only knew about the gym. It wouldn't hurt to check and analyze the place. Staring at the duo, eyes half opened, jaw slightly adjacent, he shrugged before taking a seat and watching the whole spectacle until his turn came.

Putting one of his thumbs to his lips, he began rubbing it against, learning about who the first person was, who proclaimed herself proudly as the Ultimate Engineer, Maya Mallik. She had darker skin than the rest of the awakened people, save for a couple of others... to top that off, she was wrapped in a robe that reminded him of someone being an Indian... not the Native Americans; there's a difference. She seemed somewhat... nice and mature about the whole thing instead of panicking. Reception was a bit cold and disconnected to him, but what did he know?

Next came a lovely young lady who he recalled being the Ultimate Chef! Deluxe delight's, scrumptious sustenance, and creative cuisines! Of course, he only saw her in cooking magazines, but she was certainly prettier up close then he could imagine. Of course, she seemed composed too, but that must meant she saw the light in this situation, like that cute, but ice cream coldish engineering missus!

Along with that, everyone else continued to give their full names, along with information regarding why they were accepted into this prestigious place. After identifying most, it seemed he was going to be the next to come. Standing up, he gave out quite a verbose yawn, as he stretched and approached the crowd of amazing people... whether they were known for infamy or their profession. Clearing his throat, he still looked provoked to a degree, though he had a smile on his face that might of caused some dissonance.

"Well, I guess it's my turn then, eheh," Joseph spoke as he waled forward, rubbing his eyes. Giving a small wave, he continued; "My name is Joseph Takuma, Ultimate Ma-" Before he could finish, there was quite a bit of wailing emanating from a truly despair filled individual who seemed to not take Monokuma's words lightly as he dashed out of the gym, much to the surprise of Joseph who seemed fairly off now to that little display.

"H-hey, wait!" Joseph called out, his hand reaching outwards as if to grab him, but alas, it was rather late seeing as the man had completely forsaken interacting with everyone and skipped to freaking out... which was understandable... there was a lot to sink it, especially the part about someone having to get axed. It was like something out of a horror movie and Mirai Nikki, except it lacked Yuno screaming Yuki 24/7, or a masked sociopath with a chainsaw.

Still...

"Uhm... introductions aside for a sec since we all seem rather content at the mome; should we actually believe that bears words? For the most part, it could be lying..." Joseph shrugged as he procured his handbook and began using its functions for the most part. Toying with it, he eventually found the map function and turned it to that, swiping the screen, he began to look at the locations before walking to the gyms exit. He would be lying if he said he wasn't worried about how that other man was dysfunctional over the speech...

Maybe some good cheer could come up.

"I'll learn about the rest of you later, I'm gonna check up on that one dude," Joseph said, giving a wave and a smile under the layers of fear and discontentment. Opening the door, he disappeared into the next room... and was greeted with the same dude leaning against the wall, eyes closed.

"Heya, you ok?" Approaching the man, Joseph immediately stood in front of him, his voice sounding almost droll and irked. Staring him down, the boy awaited an answer as he put one of his hands to his hips.

Acute Magnanen- - Game of words;Game of lies

Forcing myself to calm down and try to relax, I slowed my breathing and closed my eyes. Even in this anomalous situation, acting crazy can only be pernicious.I must relax. I. must. be calm. Admittedly, some chocolate or other sweet snack would help me a lot, but I don't have that luxury right now. Heh, when I merely think empty thoughts and push away the troubles, everything feels better. After just a moment of nice, soothing nothingness I open my eyes and look around. Sadly, I really only do get a moment's relaxation, as there's already someone in front of me.

"Heya, you ok?" He asks me without any fancy words or the like. My first impression of him is a good one, he appears to be thoughtful - the guy did come look for me, presumably worried for my well-being - and approachable. That's just the cover though. His seemingly nice facade could be a deceptive ruse. No, now I'm just being paranoid. Really, I should introduce myself before jumping to conclusions like I usually do.

" I-I'm doing well.. y'know.. all things considering." I reply weakly, not even looking him in the eye from embarrassment. He came to talk to me expressly because I ran out the room, which means he saw, for certain, my freak out and girlish scream. Wow. I sure make an amazing impression, don't I? And right now I'm not doing much better. With twitchy fingers and the incapability of eye-contact, I play the part very well of 'that nervous kid'. Mustering up enough courage to speak directly, I swallow and push my fingers against the steady ground. I get ready to speak, but it feels as if the words are stuck in my throat, lodged at the worst spot. Sweat trickles down my forehead. First I was nervous about murder, then I get the butterflies just to speak to a stranger. To be fair, this isn't any stranger is he? He's an Ultimate, and potentially a future killer.. No! No, forget about the murders for a moment Magnanen, or you'll freak out again. Just say something to the man already! "M-my name's Acute Magnanen. You can just call me Magnanen, o-or Acute, that works too! Really whichever you'd prefer!" The last words begin to squeak unattractively, but at the very least I've finally looked him in the eye. I bite my lip after that awkwardness. Geez, I'm overthinking this all in a bad attempt to be scrupulous, but all I'm just messing up further..

"Yeah, Acute Magnanen, Ultimate Linguist."

Rio Andersen - Re_Beautiful Morning

When I came to...I was greeted with a rather cute, stuffed bear, I had never seen the character before so I thought it must be an original character, the design certainly looked intricate, whoever created the toy did so with an attention for detail, and I can appreciate at that. However, my appreciation came to an end when it spoke up, explaining to not just I, but to everyone else that a new school life was about to come to fruition. And not just some kind of stereotypical tween cartoon where there's a moral in every episode, and how friendship will solve anything (It doesn't.), and by sheer willpower we'll be able to move forward, no, the bear had other plans in mind...

"M...Murder?"

The words came out of my mouth so feebly...Imagine waking up, trapped in a building with other people and the only way to escape was by murder. It reminded me of that one horror movie series, albeit a little less grotesque and morbid. That wasn't even the half of it, he said something about a trial and disappeared without another word, leaving all of us with a heavy burden on our shoulders...Do we risk living out our days in meaningless tranquility and peace, seeing our talents be wasted or will one of us snap eventually and resort to muddying their hands with the blood of an innocent? Just the thought of it sent shivers down my spine. I reached into my pocket and viola! The bear was not joking when he told us about our Student ID's, Heh, it's just like a cellphone, eh? Touchscreen too! Now if only it could play music or connect to the internet so I can send an SOS. Now that's just wishful thinking...It booted up and displayed my full name, along with the basic statistics...Even measurements. I glanced around the gym and quite frankly, I was brazen enough to say that all around me are familiar faces, although not so much of worn-out places, although that remains to be seen. One boy spoke up and stuttered so much it was almost amazing he was able to form a coherent sentence, quite frankly, I felt kind of bad for him. Although I must agree that he has the right idea, if we're going to murder each other, we should at least know our names.

One by one, and slowly did each student introduce themselves. There was Maya Malik, the Ultimate Engineer, I had to give props, the girl definitely looked pretty. A- at best in the fashion ranking. Up next was Liisi Avedarci, the Ultimate Chef, that was a name I had heard in the Food Network frequently, some say that her food was the equivalent of nectar and ambrosia, was her cooking really that good? Surely, her appeal doesn't just stop at her food, she herself looks quite adorable too, a solid 'A' in the fashion ranks.

Up next was Kiragi Yoshizaku, the Ultimate Surgeon, it was a name that I was unfamiliar with, as I don't really keep track of foreign news, but if his presence and talent is any indication, we might just be able to survive for a little longer with him around, quite cute too, if a little frumpy in the attire sense. A 'B' most likely. Then there was Rose Everfield, the Ultimate Actress, and let me just get this out of the way, her movies are amazing, I've only seen a few handful of them, but from what I've seen from her, she does a stellar job...Although how and what she does behind the screen is another story that we'll witness first-hand. And then there was Cynthia Arabara, the Ultimate Gardener, I've heard rumors that she can bring life to even the most run-down of gardens, now, her facial features sure are quite attractive but her...fashion could use some work. 'C' for now. With that, I approached them and began to speak up and introduce myself as well,

"Greetings! My name is Rio Andersen, Ultimate Fashion Designer. You may or may not know me from my 'Aurora Ardour' fashion line a while back. Here's to hoping we DON'T end up killing each other.

Donovan Michaels - Introduction into Destruction

I groaned, introductions are annoying as hell. What's the point of getting to know each other's names if we're just gonna end up killing each other? Scratching the back of my head, I was going to speak up afterwards that fashion girl but before I could, another girl stole the spotlight from me, let her have it, it'd be rude of me to steal the limelight. What was with the eye-patch though? Is this going to be some anime situation where removing that patch would somehow bring about the end of the world as we know and it's up to us, her friends, to knock her back to her senses? Honestly, that sounds way better than killing each other, at least we all get to work together for one better goal. And when she finished her introduction, I thought her heard wrong. Ultimate Assassin. Assassin. Assassin?! Great. The killings haven't even begun but I already have a feeling in my gut that maybe, just maybe, she may or may not end up killing someone, I don't want to jinx it but, in situations like this...Nah, it'd be too obvious. Up next was the flower child, Artist, eh? Kinda of vague if you ask me.

Is she done? Good, but just as I was going to open my mouth, one guy started freaking out and began to shout to the heavens, like the gods wronged him or something, the guy ran out of the gym in a flash and another one ran after him. Well then, that...certainly was one way to react to things, I had to give points to that guy though, of all the most believable reactions I've seen here so far, his is the most reasonable. Coughing lightly to break the small ticking minutes of silence, I spoke up and introduced myself in a way that just came naturally.

"Name's Donovan. Ultimate Critic. Are we done? Good."

Maria Oathkeeper - The Silent Forest

I awakened on the cold hard floor, although not as hard as the stone one in the monastery. I had been in a deep slumber, which left me confused as to where I was brought to. The last thing that I could recall was standing in front of the esteemed building that belonged to Mt. Hope Academy. Finally starting my life as a nun outside of the grounds of the monastery, spreading the word of God to others. However before I managed to enter I suddenly blacked out... and now I found my bare hands touching the floor.

My eyelids opened and I looked around, getting up and leaning on one arm while doing so. Many others had already awakened in the room. She stayed quiet and overheard some others when suddenly a bear popped up out of nowhere. It was a strange being that she had never seen, it wasn't exactly a bear... an ice bear or a panda bear... more like a fusion of those. He stood on two legs and had a menacing red eye, as red as the depths of Hell. An evil as lurking in this creature whatever he was made out of. Monokuma he said his name was.

However what he said next shocked me to the core. To escape one had to take the life of another! I could never have the heart to do so. Murder is one of the greatest sins there is, and there's no coming back from it. Many citations deny the act of murder in the Bible... Leviticus, Exodus, Matthew... and many many more. I could never. I was so shocked that I missed the rest of what Monokuma said and was left just staring into the distance.

People started introducing each other and Maria took notice of that, still shock by the whole concept of murdering someone to get out of here. I listened to the people introduce themselves, the talents among everyone varied quite a bit, but wasn't quite sure what to think of everyone just yet. I stood up and brushed off my habit, I could clearly remember the reason why I was invited to this academy.

"Hello everyone. My name is Maria Oathkeeper, daughter of Mother Superior and here as the Ultimate Devout. I am pleased to meet with all of you and hope we can get along nicely." I said as polite as I could, hoping that the people would take a liking to me.

------------------------

Pierce Lavigne - Waltz of the Damned

I had been preparing a long time for my arrival at Hope's Academy, and now the time was finally here. I was standing in front of the gate where my new future was, as a brilliant student of the most esteemed academy that has ever existed. I entered the property of the academy... and everything went dark...

I awoke again on the floor... it wasn't the first time I awoke on someone else's floor though. I sat up straight and stretched and put on my hat that was laying next to me, adjusting my hair a little bit before doing so. I looked around... no it wasn't the first time he awoke in someone else's room where there were multiple people around... but 15 others was a little bit much.

Luckily they were shortly afterwards joined by the most visual comedic principal ever, Monokuma! It was a very cute, yet menacing bear to look at. He continued to explain why they were here and I quickly learned that we all were caught in a battle royal... but this time located in a school instead of a whole island, like the obscure Japanese film. The only way to graduate was to kill someone else, or they had to live in here for the rest of their lives.

I looked around some more, the sight of boys wasn't bad... except for the black fat one... I'm going to try to avoid that one. But other than that there were many cute boys around here and wouldn't mind sharing a cup of coffee with them. I could enjoy myself for a while here... but eventually would want to get out, he knew that. I felt my pocket and quickly found my student ID displaying all of my basic info and a detailed map of the first floor.

I stepped forwards. "All behold! I am the great Pierce Lavigne, Ultimate Illusionist!" I said proud, hoping people would immediately adore me. At the same time I used my slight of hand to make my ID disappear from my hand, hopefully amazing the others. "So, seems like we are packed with quite a bunch of peculiar people, aren't we?" I chuckled.

Alice Eason-Bloody Tears

I heard a loud scream that if it would be longer,it would have made my ears bleed. Then I saw who the scream was from..running out of the gym. Good thing some other boy- I mean Joseph the ultimate ma.....yes,thats what he said, ran after him. I decided not to worry and continue listening to introductions.

Next was Rio,ultimate fasion designer. 'Aurora Ardour'? I only recongnise that name from reading a magazine of it. The clothes were pretty dang good really.
Then it was Donovan, ultimate critic. He sorta looked woried when i made my introduction. Guess the whole 'assassin' part is still intimidating, haha.
Then it was Maria,the...ultimate devout..? Yep. Frist thing that comes out of my mouth when she was introduced was "She's a nun,great..." we are not gonna get along well... Then the posible last one to make an intro was the ultimate illusionist, pierce. I tried not to laugh at his way of words, considering im trying not to make enemies here. When he made his student ID dissapear, I though "What happens if you lose your student ID?" out loud.

Elizabeth Remington-Waterfall

I kept silent as the others introduced themselfs. Rio,donovan,maria...I heared what alice said and,an assassin and devout may get along, but not that easy....and pierce. When pierce made his ID dissappear,I gave him a small applause. I then walked after joseph to see ol' screamo who ran out to maybe avoid a panic attack. I snuck behind joseph and listened to their chat. Oh...Acute...thats his name. Acute, the ultimate linguist. I didnt know what it ment,so I went back into the gym.

Ryuji Tachibana - Ghost Town

After Ryuji finished speaking poorly, people started to introduce themselves one by one, first was the East Indian girl who spoke in a harsh, cold manner, then it was the another girl who looked to be european in descent unlike Maya who wished to shake the hand of Maya, which made Ryuji feel dejected, he lowered his head and blushed, he guessed he wasn't good enough to interact with, but he tried his best to move on from the perceived awkwardness. The next to introduce himself was a tall japanese boy named Kiragi Yoshikazu, a name Ryoji has heard a few times back home, he was a brilliant surgeon even at the tender young age of 18, it was quite remarkable that Ryuji was sharing the same space with such a respectable and bright eyed person while he is nothing more than a sellsword with a dower past. After him was a short girl with blond hair and green eyes, an actress she says which is true as he has heard of a few of her movies, even though he has never seen any of them due to his busy lifestyle. After her was a disgruntled young man who seemed to be obvlious about what is happening, he won't last long with a mind as empty as that. Next was a green haired who almost stutters as much he does. The next two were an odd pair of sorts a black haired assassin and a brunette artist, Ryuji decided to keep a careful and a knife under his pillow as long as the assassin is within their midst. Next was expected at some point in this whole ordeal, a hysterical boy who started to scream then was calmed down by the next boy who was interrupted by the boy's hysterics, the two's names were Acute and Joseph. After them was a chic girl named Rio and a hairy man named Donovan, the final two that Ryuji noticed was a Nun and a magician, this school sure has a odd picking for students, he shouldn't talk he was a "Ultimate Samurai" ... Wait... He never introduced himself,

The moment Ryuji realized Ryuji never introduced himself his face became beat red and he tried to cover his face with his hands. He started to run out of the gymnasium door out of embarrassment of his massive goof up while swearing aloud in multiple languages a weird mix of Korean, chinese, French, japanese and english, it sounded like an incoherent mess, because it was. Ryuji opened the door quickly and ran out of the room and what he he saw when he reached down the hall and to his right shocked him out of his embarrassment, Ryuji looked wide eyed and his body started to tremble from the dawning horror of the realization of what Monokuma said must be true. The Doors to the school was barred and covered with a thick metal blast door that even a bomb won't budged. Ryuji sat down on the ground and continued to look at the door in silent horror.

Maya had expected that after her introduction she had hope to stay in the background until somebody has said something to her, but she didn't expect that to be the very first person to follow in her footsteps, a young white girl replied to Maya's introduction and even complimented on her work in New york city, which at first Maya replied to with a simple nod of the head, a common retort to a complement. But to her confoundment the strange girl extended her hand out to her as if to touch her's but stopped a few inches away from her own hands. Maya stare blankly at the hand trying her best to understand the girl's intention, after a few moments past where sounds can be heard in the distance, Maya had the dawning realization of what the girl wanted to do, but Maya couldn't do that, the whole touching thing how people do it she would never understand. Maya realized she should say something so she doesn't come off as a bitch for standing the girl up. "My apology Miss Avedarci, I was just confused by your Western greeting, we don't shake hands often in India, instead we do something called a 'namaste', I show you" Right after she spoke Maya clasped her hands together and bowed slightly. Maya's focus was all on Liisi, she was always bad at multitasking it always overloaded her senses when she does it.

Liisi Avedarci - Chimu no Jiriki

Retracting her hand slowly, Liisi half-forced her smile wider at the greeting she got from the darker-skinned girl. "I apologise, it was rude of me to expect a western greeting." Somewhere along the way, the majority of students had gathered around and introduced themselves. The others... well, poor them.

One of the first to join in was a name she had merely heard in hushed voices in passing. Maybe it was because of his ethnicity, or perhaps he just wasn't too renowned. Regardless, it was nice to finally put a face to the name. The ultimate surgeon. While his appearance may have been lacking, and his manner of speech could be percieved as awkward, the girl came to the conclusion that her first assumption was correct, and that he would be a useful ally to have. He was followed by a pretty young lady who Liisi instantly identified as the ultimate actress, Rose Everfield. Whilst the european generally didn't watch many movies, she had seen articles and reports about the 'natural beauty'. Unfortunately, being an actress in this situation seemed useless, and the girl quickly moved on to assessing the rest of the group.

One was a very angry, loud-mouthed brunette. It took all of Liisi's efforts to not roll her eyes and click her tongue in frustration at their lack of mannerisms and perception. Clearly, at first glance, anyone could tell that there was something off about the situation. Another person not worth her time. Then came a fresh face she hadn't seen or heard of before. 'An ultimate gardener? When was that a thing?' While the girl dubbed as Cynthia seemed rather docile and friendly, the chef doubted her skills could be of any real use.

Some time after a few more introductions, an assassin and an artist, a loud screech resounded throughout the gym. Liisi didn't even need to look for the source, as it was kind of hard to miss the sight of someone sprinting full-speed-ahead out of the gym. 'What's his problem? Ah, well, guess I would've done the same if I was an idiot.' Unfortunately, the screaming interrupted another persons introduction, but said person didn't seem too bothered and was instead worried about the idiot, reaching out as if to try and grab him as he ran. The girl sighed inwardly, what was the point of worrying about the weak? All they'll do is drag you down. The male that spoke was probably the one who said the most thus far, and she made a mental note to try and get along with him. Anyone who can say more than one sentence was instantly good in her book.

Next came a face she recognised. Rio Andersen, the ultimate fashion designer. Oh how much Liisi loved her fashion lines! The intricate, complicated designs that basically radiated confidence, maturity and wealth. Along with the simple designs that lined her wardrobe, giving everything a bit of cute flair. Although the chef wasn't much for shopping, she couldn't deny that she loved a good spree every now and then. This would definitely be a good person in her little gang of misfits.

Liisi didn't pay much attention to the rest of the greetings, there was the cranky un-hygenic guy, a devout, and a very egotistical illusionist. Realising that the intimidating-looking fellow had skedaddled, she paused to think for a moment. 'Perhaps... it was rude of me to not talk to him first? Ah, oh well! He was an idiot anyway, if I apologise later it'll all be fine.' Their circle of students had gotten quite big, the only ones missing were the three that ran out, and one other.

Turning her attention away from Maya, she did a small curtsey to the group, mimicking picking up her skirts as she was simply in jeans. "It's nice to meet you all, I hope we get along well and we don't meet our untimely demise."

Xavier De La Fontaine - 11pm

Xavier remained rooted on the floor of the gym, his behind starting to go numb and his feet falling asleep. All of the students had made their introductions, aside from one or two that he saw leaving. One was... hard to miss. He'd listened in to the chattering, astounded at how so many of them seemed calm and composed in the situation. Once the ultimate devout introduced herself, the male let out a sigh of relief. Perhaps he wasn't the most useless there after all. They all seemed rather friendly, save for the critic and the assassin, and the way the fashion designer carried around a pincoushin bag unnerved him slightly...

Standing up, he made his way over slowly, grimacing when his sneakers squeaked against the hardwood floor. Stopping near the edge of the group of people, he spoke up. "U-Um..." He started, before coughing to clear his throat. "I'm Xavier, and I... C-Collect things." He stammered, pulling the hood on his hoodie up to shadow his face, hoping nobody would see how flushed he was from that simple sentence.

Well, scratch that last thought,Peirce is NOT the last one to make an intro. A boy named Xa-vi-er? Xavier the ultimate colector. Gotta remember that, foreign names are a pain... Anyways,at first glance,he seems like an opposite day version of me. Suprising.

I sat down on the stage part of the gym while everyone else was getting to know each other. Its kinda worthless if your gonna die anyways, but meh,I wont judge. Taking out my student ID,I searched for a library in this school. Cause if theres a library, theres sherlock holmes books, and I LOVE those mystery books.
When will there be a murder? Who will be a victim? Will I get blamed? Those kinds of questions rang in my head as I watched everyone interact.

Elizabeth Remington-Waterfall

I got to admit. Almost everyone seems to be calm with this, especialy Alice. Me,im abit scared. Ok,im really scared. Cause anyone,ANYONE,can be dead the next morning. I walked up to xavier, who was shadowing his face with his hoodie. I asked him "H-hey...you ok there...?" cause,he seems abit shy. Well, atleast its not as bad as me,heheheh.

Rio Andersen - Expedition

It turns out that not everyone was fully introduced yet, one was a girl dressed in a nun's habit who called herself "Maria Oathkeeper" now, Rio isn't one for religion but she can certainly respect the faith of people and how it can lift up the spirits of many, whether in times of crisis or not, faith is a powerful thing and whether or not she uses it to propagate the truth and Good News or not remains to be seen. Quite polite too, I won't question her fashion sense, it speaks for itself quite frankly.

Then there was the Ultimate Illusionist "Pierce Lavigne", I turned head to both Maria and the dapper man, I was quite amazed at the selection they had. Now, I don't know much about the man, he is shrouded in an enigma, but yet he carries himself with a sense of confidence...and maybe even arrogance. He's sharply dressed, I'll give him that and he showcases his talents quite well, although how it would help in a situation like this is better left unsaid...Could he perhaps conjure an illusion of a better life? Nah. Up next was a rather meek and timid boy, as if one or two wasn't enough. Xavier, eh? I crawled through the back of my mind, I know I've heard that name from somewhere...and only when he revealed his talent did it strike the bell! He caused quite an uproar in the collection community, with such an array of objects, he might as well open up his own museum! Isn't that what most people do? Although, he doesn't strike as the type of person who would be proud of showcasing off his collections, I can understand that. Some people collect some of the...strangest things to say the least.

With introductions finally done, I finally took the time to look at the card we were given by that Monokuma fellow. After booting it up, I glanced at the map to find out that there were not only living quarters for each of us, there was also a traditional Japanese bath house, a cafeteria, etc. But no exit? I pondered on the possibility for a moment, and with a confident smile, I proposed a possibility for those in the gym.

"Listen, we won't get anywhere just standing idly by. Let's all split up to cover more ground, and try to find an exit if possible! Afterwards, let's all meet up at the cafeteria, sound good?"

Maria Oathkeeper - Cavern of Remembrance

After I had introduced myself I looked around, there were lots of interesting people in the room. Compared to most her ultimate title was kind off embarrassing. Someone who is good at reading the Bible isn't much of a talents anyway. The first person who was to introduce oneself was Maya Malik an engineer, whatever that could be. She probably dealt with technology, something Maria was oblivious to. Kiragi Yoshikazu a surgeon, someone who intervenes with prayers of God to heal and instead defies nature by doing it themselves. Rose Everfield, actress... wonder what kind of plays she does. Cynthia Arabara, ultimate gardener, someone who at least had some respect for nature.

Alice Eason, an assassin, someone to stay wary of. Elizabeth Remington a true artist who did seem nervous but with a pure heart. Acute Magnanen a linguist, something one did not hear everyday. Rio Andersen a fashion designer, expected from someone who would dress so... lewd. And Donovan Michaels a critic, a man with a fast talk it seems. Pierce Lavigne, an illusionist... he seemed very flamboyant... disgusting. Last but not least was Xavier De La Fontaine who introduced himself as a collector... of what?

There were some who didn't introduce themselves, but I would hopefully discover that later on. Now it was, as the fashionista said, time to explore the grounds for a way out of this place. I looked around, not knowing who to team up with and out of anxiety I walked up to Rio herself.

"If there is no main entrance to go through there should be another place where that could lead to the outside world. In my monastery there was a hidden tunnel underneath the ground that led into the nearby forest. If we could manage to find a basement or a hatch of sorts one might be able to escape this prison." I spoke. "We could explore together, say if one doesn't mind that."
