Ah, alright. I was going off of the front page which stated that the teaching of darkness was forbidden (I apologize if it had seemed that I had implied its usage altogether in my post), but I presume Kano has a bit of leeway given his position and experience?
Yeh, expect more to come! Though not with every post. The effectiveness of something becomes diluted after continual usage, yes?
Definitely like people sharing music, and I'm glad you like my taste.
Unfortunate wording on my part there. It is frowned upon heavily, yes, but Kano has absolute authority. Believing firmly that by his hand he can teach the generations to respect it as a natural element instead of something to be feared.
I've gotten started on rereading a bit of Discworld, myself. Hoping to do away with my overly direct and blunt writing style after the current IC drama is dealt with.
It feels as though the way I write is somewhat dependent upon the overall feel of the RP group.
Personality: Alexander is a… confusing young man. He seems like a sad, closed off boy that has no interest in conversing. On the contrary, he is always thinking, and wants to share with people his thoughts, but fears that they may not share his same viewpoint, or even understand what it is he speaks of. He will however, speak when spoken to, usually in short sentences that give the bare minimum needed. Alexander also has a great respect for authoritative figures and the elderly, being the most open towards them. If someone were to actually manage to get him to open up, they would find he is much younger in mind than he appears, despite his intelligence.
History: Alex was born to a wealthy German family and had always been a quiet boy, reading books, and keeping to himself, the family Library keeping him preoccupied for most of his free time, the rest of it for fencing. His parents couldn’t care less, he seemed to be doing well in school, being top of his class. However, they soon began to notice sudden changes. His grades began slipping and the few friends he did manage to make he had shut out of his life. Soon enough, he didn’t wish to return to school, and when confronted about it, he told them that he simply couldn’t go to school anymore. His parents worried about him, took him to the best medical professionals money could buy, but were their quest for answers was futile. Only three weeks ago, his mother awoke in the middle of the night, hearing strange splashing noises from the bathroom. Believing it to be a servant, she burst in to berate them, but was appalled to see that her son was committing some sort of witch craft. Her screams carried throughout the manor awaking all that resided within, and soon a small crowd were around the bathroom door, staring in shock, horror, and intrigue at the water manipulating boy. Alex final told them that this was why he didn’t want to go to school. Heinrich, one of their older servants and a “friend” of Alex’s, told them that he knew what it was the boy was going through, and that there was a school that he could attend, so that he could learn to keep these powers in check. When asked how he knew, Heinrich created a flame in his hand, and no further questions were asked. The following day, his Parents helped him pack up his things, taking with him the family rapier as a reminder of where he comes from. Heinrich escorted Alex to the school, having notified them before hand, and left Alex with a small token. A charred piece of Mahogany. The very first object that Heinrich had torched using his power. A former teacher’s desk. He had been given the piece as a trophy of sorts to commemorate his full potential, and wanted Alex to have it to help push him. “Make friends, and stay open minded. You may know most things, but not everything.” Heinrich told him, before turning to leave.
Equipment: Alex carries with him a rapier, nothing extraordinary about it. Simple, yet elegant. He also keeps with him, the charred piece of wood given to him by Heinrich.
Rich family? Check Untalkative but opinionated? Check Mother walked in on him jacking off doing things in the bathroom? Check. German? Check check Needlessly pretty? Check Subtle reference to puberty? Better believe thats a check.
I leave the verdict of your acceptance to two members of this forum that knew you before.
@Jedly Theme songs are amazing, they work really well as long as they are in tune with the character. Also yeah I like the theme songs you put since you have good taste.
@Zelosse lol. Yeah, again, anything odd I can change, I'm limber enough in my writing skills. I remember last time, we had a weird guy that could "cut you open, remove your skin and organs and have you watch it the whole time." That was scary starting out in RPs, and my character was all happy go lucky, with their family being a magic family, so he went to keep the family name alive.
Question tho, about bloodbending. Does it also allow for short bursts of speed by drastically increasing the blood flow in the whole body, sort of like Luffy when he uses gear secando? I mean combined with Gus his posture and that speed... Scary
@KuramaaaZ Yeah but unlike Luffy, Gus isn't made of rubber. Doing something like that would put a mountain worth of pressure and likely kill him outright. Best case scenario, at least at his current understanding, is he tried and both legs simply rupture. Can't handle it. Collapse in a heap.
Haven't decided on Gus' theme song, since everyone else is talking about theme songs. But I imagine its either
