@Zelosse @Sif @liferusher
I feel incredibly odd for asking this, but is this actually open for more still? (Only asking since there's IC posts already.)
Otherwise, thinking of a student for water.
Oh and I blame this on @Inertia
Hi.
I'll be thinking of a CS regardless. Need to get my head in a good working order :)
[Random edit: Listening to System of a Down while thinking of stuff before dinner is ready feels sort of soothing.]
@Jedly
No prob.
Man o man you watch papa franku lmao.
Well assuming it goes the same way as past posts do... here goes nothing. (And the first actual RP attempt in RPGuild for me.)
Send EVERY kind of concern, question, critic, or whatever you come up with my way. Cheers.
If this is in the wrong place, I apologize.
Name: Emilia Lilac Averill
Age: 17
Element: Water
Appearance [Yes, with heterochromia. I decided to just keep it.]
Personality:
Determining the personality of Emilia would be a bit hard before understanding her past. But at first glance, her demeanor is that of one that mostly keeps to herself if left alone.
While she is not socially awkward and plenty capable of speaking to others, she does not seek conversation out of instinct. Seeing as she had no friends around her life and having left her siblings behind fairly early in her life, she has no real trust in anyone but her own grandparents. But it does not shut off the possibility of obtaining new friends.
Much of her time she spends meditating on thoughts and her own power. Otherwise she can be seen reading small books for pastime.
Deep down however, she will care for anyone whom befriends her or acts kindly to her.
History:
Raised somewhat far from the actual academy, Emilia was born as the first daughter of the family, along with two younger siblings. Her parents were ungifted towards the elements, and her siblings never seemed to develop skills of their own. At least not during her stay at the house.
She was the only person in the family at the time that achieved control over the water element, and at a quite young age as well.
One would think parents should nurture any talent a child harbors for the sake of their wellbeing. But her parents began to pay less and less attention to her ‘till an unfortunate day led to her temper boiling to its end. Leading to an accident where she managed to hurt them both with a case of hot and boiling water. Shocked at her actions, they immediately sent her away from the house and to her grandparents. Whom coincidentally resided a bit closer to the academy itself in a more countryside area.
It took quite a bit of time to get used to the new area and both of her grandparents. But much to her surprise, she was taken in with a warm embrace by both. Emilia eventually opened up to the both of them and told why she was sent there in the first place. Seeing as her actual parents told them nothing other than that she would start living at their house now.
Her grandfather, Flynn, took pity to her current situation and took her over to a nearby lake. The words he spoke that day and being under his tutelage, she soon began her endeavor of learning how to control water with a swift but graceful touch.
It did not take her more than a year to reach to a point where her grandfather approached her with a document in hand.
“If you want to study this gift of yours more, then aim for this.”
“And remember my dear. Endurance is one of the most difficult disciplines, but it is to the one who endures that the final victory comes.”
Her eyes now laid upon Elemental Academy.
Equipment: While she does not carry any external equipment on her, she has two metal ring/claws on both of her middle fingers. They were handcrafted by her grandfather as a memento for her. A keepsake from the times spent with him, and a constant reminder of his teachings.
