Hey first of I want to say that, I'm still not dropping the rp, I'm just having a horrid time getting into Crystal's mind set. Plus I've been sick so that really isn't helping anything. It's just been a few days and wanted to let you know.

Is ok. I know how things go. I will still be here. I have a bad or maybe good habit of hanging on for forever before getting like I guess they r gone for good. Lol. I still have one that I started with someone a few months ago that I keep checking like oh maybe they came back even though I know they are not going to. I am sad like that. Haha.

Awe *offers hug* I feel your pain, I've held onto a rp for a year because they promised to come back. I will try to post as soon as I can get into her mindset. And if I can't sometime soon, would you be up to doing another one? Because you're a great writer.

Sure I am down for that. We can put this one on hold and do something else and always come back to it at a later time. What ever you want or feel like doing is all good. If we do another one did you have something specific in mind or do you want to just brainstorm together?

I always have a few things cooking I'm the back of my head.

Yay! That sounds good to me. Hmm I think that we should brainstorm ideas so that we can come up with something that both of us made. Though I would love to hear what you have cooking in your brain so that we have something to start with. Or you know if you have some killer ideas. If nothing else I have plots in my book somewhere.

I wasn't ignoring you by the way, I'm sorry that it took so long. I was kind of working on something over here and went offline for a few.

Ok. Well let's start with the basics then. Do you want to do an rp with fantasy elements or do you want to do a modern day type thing? I tend to do modern day stuff mostly but I could try the other. Also, do you prefer one like we were doing with different creatures or just real people? And how do you feel about horror?

For plots I have a few but they are just general not really fleshed out.

Two people meet. They both have the ability to influence others with their minds but then they meet and can't do it to the other person. Do they get along or do they become rivals who are both set on destroying the other?

Another one is a horror one where they are trying to survive in a world where nightmares become real. People are only allowed to sleep in special chambers that block their minds down so that the nightmares can't materialize. However, not everyone can afford them and some people just want the world to die.

These are just a few ideas and probably not the best ones but I wanted to put something out there.

I am not too set with anything just kind of bouncing some ideas around and such. If anything appeals or doesn't then let me know and hopefully we can come up with something fun.

Honestly if you are meaning in settings I prefer modern day as well. Not that I don't like world building just gets tiresome at times. As for the creatures or people I'm good with doing either/or/both doesn't matter to much with me. I've never done a horror rp before actually though I've always kind of wanted to try one.

That being I really like your nightmare idea. Its really interesting and original. I'm not sure who we would play in it though? Some of the people who have the money to sleep in the chamber? Or the ones that don't?

Maybe a combo since we both like playing multiple people. It could either be random people that meet each other during the thing or maybe friends that have not seen each other in a long time or really whatever. And I figure with this type of rp there would be the evil people that don't have the chambers because they want to learn to harness the nightmares they bring to life and cause chaos and destruction. And maybe there are even people that are nulls that when they dream don't access whatever part of the mind that allows for the dreams to become real. Maybe the reason that people a dreams started to be one real in the first place was because of some genetic shift that happened a few generations ago and with some people their genetic makeup doesn't have that gene. I am just brainstorming here and saying whatever I think. Feel free to add to or call bullshit on stuff if it makes no sense. Lol.

I like that idea, play both a group of normal dreamers and a group of bad people who just want chaos. Also the idea of the reason this happened being a gene thing is very interesting. In that case we could play the nulls that don't dream, or at least have the gene.

You would think though. That if they didn't have the gene to make the nightmares. Could the nightmares still hurt them?

The way I was thinking about it they would still be hurt because it is all about the person with the ability. They called it into creatio. And it became real so no later whether they can do it or not it is still real. They just can't make their own nightmares reality. They would still be effected though.

Or maybe if they are not then we would have to make a very small percent of them like that cause they would in essence be like superheroes of that world. And would they not be effected at all or just not as bad? Hmm. Not sure how to do that part but it could work out.

I really sorry I didn't realize it had been that long since you replied. Between busy and sick. I haven't been at my best.

Hmm I mean I think that it might be better if they can be effected by it when you put it that way. Because as I'm thinking about, if they can't be effected by the nightmare creatures than by logic they wouldn't be a le to have any effect on the creatures either.

True. Alright then. So now on to other stuff. How many people did you want tobatsrt out with? And do you prefer to do the good guys or bad or a combo of both? I figure once we kinda decide that we can maybe get a start on some characters. I will do the start of the thing if that is cool. And we can post characters as we get then done and such? Do you have any other ideas or questions? I am pretty open to anything.

Hmm I think it would be fun to do like a combo, because then we can play both sides and it will give you more options to play with. So I would think two characters to start with each. That sound good? Yes please, I suck so hard at intros! Haha. I have only two more.

First of all how do you want the character sheets?
And do you want to make like little sheets and info on the nightmare creatures that we make?

Sounds good. And I don't mind doing intros. As for the character sheets we can just do pic and name and maybe a little either about them or favorite quite so that way we are not tied down to anything and can just roll as we go.

And yeah we can do ones for the nightmare creatures if we have cool ones with a pic and maybe who dreamt it up. Maybe do like an excerpt of the nightmare below it. What u think?

And great, that sounds good to me. That's kind of what I was thinking of. Should make things easier to imagine (and plus it will look like super cool)!

I made the topic. It is called reality is a nightmare. I am on phone now so can't link it here. Just wanted to let u know though. Now to find some pics for my people once I decide who I want to play. And are we going with any set ages for our people? Like maybe anywhere from 16 to 35? Or do you want to do them in their twenties? I don't really have a preference but later on I might bring in some others that are not in those age brackets.
