Captain Valder looked at Leo. He took a dagger out and stuck it into an "X" on the map. "Scout Leo. Your assignment is to aid Alexander the Vicious in his mission. I'd advise you to scout the area before going into Duplil. Other than that, make sure those damn Ironbanes don't get their supplies." Valder finished. He handed Leo a new set of arrows, no sure if Leo needed anymore.

Leo accepted the arrows. "Aye sir. I'll leave at nightfall tomorrow."

Valder nodded and smirked with his cocky grin everybody recognized. Alexander then approached Leo, overhearing the conversation. "Seems you're going to Duplil? I'll save you a room at the inn, my friend." Alexander said. He sat on a tree stump, putting his boots on before he left.

"I'll see you there in a few days." Leo nodded and stalked back to his tent, to get his gear ready.

With Leo gone and having eaten her fill of deer, Crim packed up her share and began to leave the camp going back the way she came in. Seralth perched on her shoulder as she walked out toward the woods again.'Everyday at noon.' she smiled as she went.

So at noon the next day, Leo made his way down to the river and sat against a tree. He was garbed for war, wearing his black leather armor, his shortswords were at his waist and his bow and arrows were propped against the tree next to him. He lit his pipe, put up the hood of his coat and waited.

She saw him leaning against a tree and smiled. "Seralth, go say hi." she whispered to her dragon as she stayed perched in a tree across from him.
Listening to he order the dragon swooped down and landed on Leo's foot. Playful she nudged his shoe and crawled up his leg for attention.

Leo laughed and scratched Seralth under the chin. "Hey girl! i missed you too." he chuckled before scanning the treeline for Crim.

Dropping down from the tree Crim laughed at the sight. Seralth continued to crawl on, nudge, and try to play with Leo. Seralth finally perched on his shoulder as Crim walked over to them. "Missed you a ton, looks like." she laughed again and smiled. "So you're going huh?"

The smiled faded from Leo's face. "Aye. I leave ahead of the main force to scout out the caravan. I'm leaving at nightfall."

"Where is the caravan heading? I know most land better than the people that live there. I can maybe tell you the terrain you're heading into." she offered.

[RangerOfTheRit]

"I ride for Duplil." he said, putting out his pipe.

[SaikaAnge]

"Which way? There's a major bandit stronghold to the south. East its usually clear but there's dangerous creatures in the forests. And you can't even get near Duplil from the west." Crim explained pointing in each of the directions. Hoping it was helpful information she turned back to Leo. "I hope that helps, even if just a little."

"I guess i'll be taking the forest route. I appreciate it milady." he took her hand in his and kissed it gently. "I'll try not to die, so i can visit you again."

"Ya know, there's a small town near there that I wanted to visit. Mind if I accompany you till we reach it? If not then that's alright with me." she smiled a little and called her dragon to her side. Seralth being a bit playful, landed on Crim's head and nuzzled her cheek making her laugh.

"I'd be grateful for the company." Leo smiled. "Well since i'm not leaving until dark, what shall we do until then?"

"Are you needed in camp?" Crim asked with a slightly mischevious smile.

"Not until i leave." Leo raised an eyebrow, "What are you planning milady?"

[SaikaAnge]

"Come with me, and oil show you." she smiled more and turned. Slightly jogging she lead Leo back to the cave that she resided in.
"Welcome to my home. Not as fancy or social, but its safe. And Seralth can hide here while Im gone." she turned back to him and smiled again. "But the cave isn't what I was wanting to show you." Crim walked into the dark cave and whispered something, causing light tospeead throughout and show off cave drawings and writing on the walls.

Leo stared at the walls in wonder. "This is amazing." he said quietly.
