how did he perfectly guess Leo out of all of the other signs? that's my only question there, sense there are like 18 signs or so unaccounted for. not that Charles would even know what his saying.

So, i.e., he can figure out what sign he is.
Also some signs are kind of obvious.

......To my knowledge they know nothing about the other signs besides themselves, so it wont be obvious what so ever for a sign doesn't dictates anything about the person, and their powers could be entirely different from what one would of originally guessed (only zodiac, and certain villains know that information to begin with).. and the emotional thing is one way it's not both ways so there would be no real link between them, not to mention they don't really have anything in common, and even then being linked in emotions does not mean Omniscience... to me that's just finding a reason for meta gaming.

Umm..... thats a bit of a jump there. If you are going to have Avery experience emotional pain that would give him an emotional link. And it might help him figure out some things. But I don't see how that would help him determine what sign a person has. The signs aren't necessarily linked to emotions. The signs are linked to power but Avery would have no way to know what that link is. He could know the power in some cases but that wouldn't necessarily tell him what sign the person has.

OK,Leos are traditionally leader's and stubborn, so the character showed those two traits.
And I'm not trying to meta game. Like I also said, there are certain traits that can make a person's sign obvious
